Wondering the same thing… from their website I got: All Hydro razor blades will fit all Hydro razor handlesAll of our razors are interchangeable with their own range. For example, you can use Hydro 5 Skin Protection Blades with any other Hydro razor (inc Hydro 5 Skin Protection Advanced), but not with a Quattro.
If I add the £5.92 item they will deliver but not the £2.54. Very odd.
Mikey these are not double edged blades, so will not fit in the razor suggested. They are really for a shavette.
I've been using a cut throat for over 10 years now. Saved a fortune. Outlay of razor, 300 blades and a decent badger brush probably £50 total. Only last year I bought new blades. I get 3 / 4 shaves from one blade. Key I find is to pat dry your razor with towel once you've finished shaving, stops the blades getting rusty. However my biggest tip is to try different blades. Different blades from different parts of the world cater for different types of hair. I get on well with Astra and Supermax I think they are. Being of South Asian decent I have course hair so those blades are good for me. Feather blades are good for those with fine hair and or sensitive skin. I've never tried them even though I've got a pack because they are apparently horrifically sharp. I've tried these. Good blades but I think I have oily skin the blades don't last as long. As said above never press the blade onto the skin. Let the blade do the work. A bit like using a fountain pen no pressure required just gliding it over the paper. Same with using double edge, let the razor glide over the skin but focus on keeping the angle right. I find I get closer shaves and less nicks than using a safety razor!
I am curious about straight razors and shavettes. I currently use a DE, which I love. I'm a little wary of the cuts I could get with a straight razor, but I like the idea of the ultimate shave. Ultimately I'd like a true straight razor with no blade replacement and waste. Honing and stropping the blade. But there's a fair initial expense, the wet stones, strop, etc and choosing the razor itself. Wondering if I should try a straight razor / shavette for these blades first to test the waters. Any recommendations? (confused)
I was about to share the same thing. I bought a Leaf about a year ago and love it. Not cheap to buy but I think it's probably close to paid for itself now with the savings on blades. It's made shaving an experience I look forward to. It's also nice not to be throwing out so much plastic every month.

Can’t seem to find yhe kai blades cheaper than feather .. where do you get them ?
It's not about snobbery. The biggest reason for switching to DE (or single edge in this case) is the cost saving compared with multi blade cartridges. I've never sliced a finger while changing a blade, and hardly ever nicked my face (no more often than when I used to use Gillette cartridges).
Or treat yourself to a Mach 3 and get 3 blades with no chance of cutting chunks out of your face, or slicing a finger open when changing a blade. ........ (sits back and awaits the blade snobs to lose their minds)
Cheaper on ebay.
Been using these blades for a good few years now for my cut throat all good no need for breaking double sided blades in half...just take out and sort in perfect
I use a Bluebeard shavette https://www.bluebeards-revenge.co.uk/product/the-bluebeards-revenge-cut-throat-straight-razor-uses-replaceable-blades/ and I've used these blades before but find they rust very quickly, I clean and dry them after use but never get to use the other side, only one shave per blade. Got them at this price years ago, but over 3/4 of a box left as I don't really like them.
Not bad blades, I find the Astra blades sharper thou.
only reason I came here :D
Had a pack of these for years now, use them for anything and everything, ultra sharp and flexible too so useful for trimming up foam or anything for that matter
Been using these a couple years now top blades perfect for the cut razor no need to be breaking double sided blades just slot in

I've voted 🔥 as it seems a good, if unimaginative, father's day gift. But how about this? My teenagers decided their dad would prefer it. . . https://www.vulcantotheskystore.co.uk/names-under-xh558s-wing---diamond-anniversary-of-xh558s-first-test-flight-6246-p.asp_ga=2.89889435.1431445154.1581329655-1855838230.1581329655 I'd buy him the shaving kit myself if only he'd shave that damn grey beard off!
Nothing says Happy Father’s Day better than an overpriced shaving kit. (skeptical)
Would prefer their DE gift set myself. Same price, but save on blades in the long run. https://www.wilkinsonsword.com/en-gb/product/fathers-day-classic-premium-collection/
I might not talk for all dad's but I'd even prefer socks to this

Heated?! Ooo la la, whats wrong with a bowie knife
Sink full of hot water, blade in the water, shaving gel in the water. Take a shower. When you get out, your fuzzy face hair is soft and warm, the blade is warm and the gel is warm = smooth shave with warm items. Costs less than £150 too.
Oh and the refills are £50 each. (At a guess)
Looks appealing. Sod that price though

Yay....they honoured them....got the 6 I ordered today....come in quite a nice little box....admittedly I've removed the stickers from the back of them that say they're a free gift as don't want people thinking I'm a complete cheapskate at Christmas considering they cost me a whole £1.99 each (lol)

Thanks to Tacavas I've just purchased pack of 3 Blades Great price for a great shaver no more rashes on my neck and also stopped the redness that a normal shaver always leaves me looking like I've been strangled.
Cheers, needed more of these soon. They are pretty expensive but they do seem to last quite a while. Plus no irritation on my neck is worth the cost for me!
No. Not each.
Thanks, voted hot and purchased. Also, TCB at 7.07% (before VAT) is tracking for me so far, despite it saying it won't work if a code is used which is not on the TCB website.
