I had the lavarno bathroom corner racking which became rusty after 3 months. Made of cheap steel with chrome finish. If this is made of the same material then I would advise against buying this. I picked it up from the shelf and hardly weigh anything which suggests me the material used is cheap as chips.

Just returned the one I got, poor chrome and just poor quality IMO going to look elsewhere for something similar

The one I have doesn't seem to feel like it has solidly selected anything when you press it in, it just smoothly presses in. It also seems to default to the normal shower head output every time it is turned on even if it was turned off while on rainfall. This is was leads me to think that something might be amiss with my diverter section. Of course without going into Lidl and breaking the seals and opening up a box I have no way of comparing the one I have to anything

No, it doesn't click solidly. Seems a bit flimsy. Will be returning mine.

Fingers crossed this'll fit in the existing holes where my non-rain shower riser rail is

These are adjustable so should match up with your existing holes

Won't help the pipe but would be more roomy from the wall

I had one that wasnt too far from wall and even with the angled back bit of the bath I could still stand under it - eventually I just angled the rain head a tiny bit and it changes the flow a lot - screwfix/toolstation do one for £45/40 with a further reach which I replaced mine with when it broke

Same for me. Returned and then opened another one. Same. Looked like spots of rust all over the shower head.

Of course, it’s 6 inches from the middle of each hole. Hope that’s helpful

Just a bit of info - The only picture showing the actual item Lidl are selling is the one with the bloke using the shower. They have apparently redesigned the item and removed one of the adjustable sliding mounts. The push button output selector doubles up as the lower mount which in effect makes it less flexible when retro fitting it to any existing shower rail holes.

I bought one before and so would not by another unless I was happy with this product.
However I now find I have trouble with the diverter valve on the new shower unit.
Just in case any smart Alec wants to suggest why bother to buy a second if I was happy with the first? I left the first in the previous house plus I have changed Countries.

Right my question Is this, the diverter does not work.
    The diverter constantly leaks.
Also I now have water coming from both the hand shower and the overhead rain shower.
How do I take the diverter apart in an attempt to fix it?
I have lost the recepeipt and so cannot take it back to Lidl

For shower cubicle, I would think should fine. Probably thats where this meant to be. Not for bath/shower.

Technically yes - these are effectively a fancy shower hose so will screw on fine. You may find that the pressure isn’t quite enough though - hard to say

No these aren’t designed to attach to taps - I’m sure you get a converter but not sure it’s worth it!

Banging on bath taps is not recommended- very uncomfortable (edited)

Would I be right in saying this just replaces the existing shower head from an electric shower? Doesn't look like a thermostatic one that can be run off the combi.

It really doesn't, I get the same depth just hanging my shower head on its support 👎

I think it will work on most systems as its just the riser rail and head and doesn't include a valve.
Remember a gravity system is low pressure so it may trickle out of the head unless it has a pump on the system

I picked one up yesterday and can confirm they now have one sliding mount and use the diverter as the lower mount.
Will be taking mine back as I am replacing an existing rail.

I have connected a similar one to the bath mixer tape.
All you need is change the short hose at the front to a shower hose, they are all same fittings. The only thing is that the shower is usually a bit too long so looks a little unsightly.

How did you work this out? It would be great to know exact distance from wall to center of shower head

is something you might be able to help with? Would be forever grateful! 👐 (edited)
