Push kitchen sink plug question

Posted 3rd Aug 2023
Got a leaking seal on 1 of our push seal kitchen strainers. Anybody know where to buy them on their own? Or the proper name for them.
Don't want just the strainer, needs to be a push fit.

Can you clarify where the leak is? Is it dripping into the cupboard below or is it just the water going down in the sink when the plunger is in the fill position?

Good question. I made an assumption which I probably shouldn't have done.

It wont be leaking from what you posted.

It will be a large rubber washer under the circular bit that is in contact with the sink or a washer under the sink if there is one.

If you tighten the large nut under the sink it might solve your problem. (edited)

If you have an over flow on your sink & want to buy a new one the this is the type you need.

You really need to have a look under the sink. If you want to post a photo of the whole top of your sink & the connections under the sink then there are people on here that can advise further.

Never seen that part of a pop up waste sold separately

    Good luck.
