All Hoover Discounts, Offers and Sale - October 2018
One going since 20 years is at work, in last 13 years I have been married we had Hoover, philips, Electrolux, Argos own brand etc and they all packed up for one reason or other, 6 years ago I decided to buy henry and to this day it is going as strong as day one, FYI I only have one vacuum cleaner at home and that's Henry. :)
I have this vacuum cleaner. It's good for the car. If you want good suction then take out the HEPA filter and it will work like a charm. Don't expect to get replacement parts though as they don't sell them. Good for quick cleans as long as suction vent isn't clogged.
I've just thrown out my previous Dyson cordless after about 8 years due to me foolishly starting up the machine with a wet filter, just one of those days, but loads of long running ones on forums, so you must have been rather unlucky.
It can't be that hard to change the battery surely? I've found Dyson's to be really is to service & repair. I've fixed ours & elderly relatives a fair few times fairly easily.
Yep. Our Dyson dc14 lasted 16 years, & tbh I'm pretty sure a motor replacement would keep it going strong, but decided to go with a lighter newer one as this house is much bigger & carting it around was a real pain. The new Dyson (a light ball), is almost half the size, is insanely lightweight in comparison, & has about half the power, yet picks up as well as the dc14 did when it was new!
And my point is you wouldn't have performance ratings without the EU energy label as that is the only thing that requires them to be published.
But the cleaning performance ratings aren't energy ratings, that was my point. ;)
You only get the performance ratings on the EU Energy Label that's my point. And nor do I care about the energy use if I did I wouldn't use 3 different vacuums to clean the house each day
Now that the upper allowed maximum power rating is 900w, who really cares about the energy rating? I don't vacuum enough (because I bloody hate it) for the energy used to be a significant part of the household consumption. When I do vacuum I want the machine to clean as effectively as possible, hence why I am really only interested in the cleaning performance ratings. I would imagine most people are the same.
I own this model. It's cleaning isn't great - especially on hard floors and thick piled carpet.
Cheaper on eBay Ao site., With code £233 Graphite. + Free recycling. Not sure if it's the same model code.
Worst machines ever.
haha :) I was meaning in the old joke way :)
£295 on CO-OP website https://electrical.coop.co.uk/laundry/washing-machines/freestanding/hoover-dxoa610hcw-1-80-a-10kg-1600-spin-washing-machine-in-white-hoo-wsh-dxoa610hcw1-80-w/ , then use code CLEAN15 for £15 off
Think mine was the same model, the drum broke!
Crap products and crap customer service that’s all I need to say. Sore subject!
Voted hot / cold.
I had a Hoover washing machine. It came with a warranty, and I must say that they were very good at sticking to their end of the bargain servicing the warranty. However, did have to call the engineer multiple times over the years to fix the pump. The machine didn't have a filter, "because it didn't need one". One of the engineers said that the pump was designed to be strong enough to cope without one. Then the penny dropped for both of us. I suppose the pump was designed to cope with "normal", but my hair is well over 3 feet long, and well, I moult, like the rest of the population.
Many that standby there warranties!!
I hope you aren't missing the word 'one'.
Who needs dyson or gtech! I've used mine to hoover up concrete when I knocked out the bathroom
Bang on. I was on holiday just before they phased those out and I was very tempted to buy an extra suitcase and bring one back
I have recently bought a c3 allergy, it's virtually impossible to use on carpets. Suction is excellent but the floor attachment is very hard work.
Use to be Jewery etc that was passed on between generations nowday thanks to the EU its the 2000w+ Miele's... ah progress....
Hi, dont you get the 5 years warranty if you order from john lewis
It was a sonos beam, but had gift vouchers for John Lewis :-)
What's the advantage of buying from John Lewis? (Unless it's a TV of course.)
Oh, I was replying about the John Lewis price match - they wouldn’t let me price match the voucher code
Are they Henry or Hoover vacuum cleaner bags? :/ (lol)
what about Barbara
They are fake but ok
Fake but ok
The paper ones aren’t nearly as good as the originals for trapping dust.
Vacuum cleaner my apologies i call everything that hoovers up a hoover. It isnt the brand Hoover.
No idea.... It's in the title.
Neither...... Its a Vacum
Blimey a hoover that's actually a 'Hoover'! ;)
Ordered a Vax air filter from these guys for 50% off the lowest price it had ever been direct from Vax (even during the fake sales) and it was in as new condition with no signs of use.
I would never use these guys.. I tried to ignore all the negative reviews and ebay feedback and went ahead and ordered a month ago, had some of the issues which you will see commonly mentioned in the bad reviews on Google and ebay.
Would love to buy it but i don’t have a home to keep it in ;(
What matters is that you don't use it as an excuse to troll people that go out of there way to do helpful things.
As a matter of fact I do so I am excused then? You should of course care, it matters.
This was in ASDA in Woking too. picked one up Saturday
A vacuum cleaner, to anyone that doesn't have a (diagnosed or otherwise) medical condition excusing them, is a hoover. We actually know it isn't, we're just not pedantic enough to care.
Here we go again, pet hate - it’s a RUSSELL HOBBS vacuum cleaner - it’s not a HOOVER - is this so difficult?
Never seen so many returns before on aw. Must be a poor product. Reviews on Amazon state battery degrades after a few charges and run time reduces. Prob bad batteries.
Lol just in case there’s any daft folk out there who’d buy one
The kids version of Henry the Hoover is £16.99 on Smyths if it’s of interest to anyone
Yeah, for a moment there I thought it was a "Henry" :-)
I think it's worth noting that this is the toy version.
I bought the previous version of this vacuum (FD22G) from Direct Vacuums in June last year. Decent enough for the price and does the job it was intended for (quick clean up of dog hair instead of getting the corded Dyson out every day). BUT - it's now on its third battery. Don't know if this is because they're refurbed (battery and vacuum itself) or down to an inherent fault in the design/manufacture. Direct Vacuums are very helpful though, and supplied the replacement batteries free of charge every time.
£56.99 on Direct Vacuum (eBay) change to Australia and use the PENNY5 discount code to get £3 off they have the red and the silver one for the same price
This 'looks' just like the equivalent Dyson, but much cheaper. Too many poor reviews on Amazon though, will give it a miss I think. 3.1* is just not worth the risk
free delivery if you go directly to Direct Vacuums.
Voted hot, good price. Prefer Hoover as well, but you'll never get one at this price.
Nope - VAT free
Sorry it seems I was wrong
Not this Hoover - this one is different
You have it and know or adding a comment for tracking?
Our 15 year old Dyson is on it's last legs and I want something lightweight, as the Dyson iis a tonne weight. Thanks for your post !!! And it's in stock near me, happy days :)
So it's thirty quid for a bag without a vacuum :p
The nearest store is only over 4 hours drive. Hot price though.
