All Hoover Discounts, Offers and Sale - June 2019
I bought from B&M over a year ago for 30/35. Good price non the less. Found it a little lacking in power on carpet but good for hard floor. Cable is short. Sucked up all the dust and plaster after renovating and tho required regular cleaning of the filter... it didn’t die....
My local had 5 or 6 too so definitely national! And my local superstore is usually crap on this kind of offer
Would you be so kind as to let us know which store?
My local had 4 on the shelf - trying to add a picture put it wont let me. Keeps saying error
It’ll be a goose chase no doubt hope you get lucky
I agree, Beko make the better quality budget products.
Lol, friends hoover was write off after 3 years, he's had his Beko for just over 5 years now. Had a minor problem which he sorted himself. So Beko has been more reliable than the hoover.
I need to find a good washing machine which is shallower than 58-60cm. I believe that only Hoover and Beko do such shallow washing machines and Hoover seems to be better quality than Beko
Hoover - no thanks. PS you can get a Bosch for similar money or a BEKO for less.
no rgb lighting but will light up your kitchen nicely. 5 year warranty available on an 10kg LG elsewhere on the site - which is a far better made and far better quality - from a company that does give a hoot about the safety of its customers. Which? are recommending boycotting Hoover until they address serious safety issues of their white goods.
Acceptable means secondhand in Amazon lingo. Simply not worth the hassle.
i think worth a try ymwv :)
You seemed obsessed with arguing the toss in all your threads that literally anything from Amazon warehouse can come "as new" contrary to everyone else's experience. especially with anything marked good or acceptable.
if not happy send it back
Chances of it arriving new are pretty slim if they are openly admitting it's "acceptable" and saying it has marks all over and damaged accessories. More chance it arriving in even worse condition plus why would anyone want to use a vacuum cleaner that's been used long enough by someone to trash it? If that's how they take care of things god knows the horrors Hetty has had to suck up! Very good is the grading that sometimes comes as new but then again I've also had things described as new that were far from it.
Stanley B&D bought a 20% stake in MTD so probably sell/market them in U.K. most probably, but the other 80% stock option available on 1/7/2021 will mean its most definitely coming before or after the other 80% buy out.
I have this and its great! I think it's £120 in Costco if you're a member, and also can claim a free steam mop!
Just awaiting Stanley B&D selling MTD products https://www.mtdproducts.com/equipment/mtdproducts
Voted hot. Also at Argos for 129 with a tenner back in vouchers.
Henry looks sick
This is the PET VERSION and is the larger 9 Litre version. It also took off an extra £0.98 at checkout making it £119.01.
Mine came today, first use with airobrush just brilliant, it does have an opening on the bottom of the airobrush that you can clip off to clear any problems if need be. There are also a number of other attachments including the standard brush head. Highly recommended.
I know this comes with the Airo Brush but does anyone know if it also comes with the standard brush as well? Just wary of the Airo Brush getting clogged up and would like to have a back up if that's the case. Thanks.
Decent price for the 9 litre version
Henry got the horses in the back He succ all the crap
Great vac !😁
It's a no from me
Great find. Have some heat 8)
Yeah...it was Black Widows. Until she left the kitchen...
You can go via your finance/credit card company if you used one to pay for it. They are wquslly liable.
Thanks, was looking at a Hoover machine but will stick with a Beko instead. Ao sell via Boots Kitchen applianaces and its sometimes cheaper especially if there's a promotion like free delivery, also you get Boots advantage points
I know but they won't answer emails and I didn't have the time or patience to take them through the Small Claims Court. I will never buy a Hoover product again.
I won't be buying a Hoover washer again. The NFC function on mine never connects and is totally useless.
I got a new fridge even out of warranty. The law says that white goods should last a suitable amount of time. 13 months is nothing and worth speaking to Trading Standards to find out how to claim. Mention the EU 2 year law and they'll go on to say that the UK law is better for the consumer and will go on to explain how to claim.
Glad i ordered it when i did!
Oh bums, they've only just gone and put the price up!! :(
My sister says she doesn't like this style of vac, it's the Vax Blade she has her heart set on, or a Shark. My search continues (embarrassed)
Was about to order this from TJ Hughes - thanks for savings!
A saving is a saving, don't feel guilty!
Had a peek on ebay to see if I could find the Hoover S1216RB Sprint cheaper - velocityelectronics sells one New for £49.95! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302915086219
Wouldn't the 5% Quidco cashback be paid on the £149? Therefore it would be £149 - £7.45 (Quidco) - £60 (Hoover cashback) = £81.55 (Saving £98.44)
good price but it gets a slating on which as a don't buy
Mixed reviews on it maybe should check them out before buying
Only 2 reviews on the website but appears to be rubbish. Personally I recommend the Vax 22v cordless slimvac - super light, picks up all grades of crud from carpet and hard floors and good battery life.
Just checked again and mine is showing 4% too now :S
Mine says homewares 4%
I did see 10% earlier but I've just checked again and it's showing 6% :| I've updated the deal to reflect this
Where on Quidco is the 10 percent offer for Argos? Only Jewellery is showing at 10 percent when I look?
Link to voucher (since I can't edit on mobile) Here
Fairly normal for this type of Hoover/hoover/vacuum cleaner! Anyway, how long do you need to hoover in one go for?
Only 35 mins after charging for 5 hours, thats ridiculous
Given that it's branded Hoover, does the 35 minute run time mean that it only runs for 35 minutes before packing up?
In that case you can’t compare a V6 to a V8 then can you! I responded to your original post that said the V6 is terrible on carpet, I’ve got one and it’s not!! And you can’t compare a dyson with it’s very good warranty and customer service to some Chinese tat off amazon/eBay either!
You can't really use a comparison between an old device to an even older device and use that as a relevant example to today's standard. The v6 must've been very good for its time, but it's a good few generations old and matched in performance by newer £70ish non branded vacuums flooding amazon and the like these days. Unless somebody REALLY wants a Dyson, the v6 shouldnt be an option for a normal household.
Of course it won’t be as good as the v8 it’s motor is no where near as powerful, but what I’m telling you that in the real world this is as good as our previous dyson corded.
I watched loads of reviews online comparing a few models against each other. The v6 was consistently worse. It may have been the best at one time, but that was 3/4 models ago. A lot of people also stressed its not something that would replace a wired vacuum.
I disagree, we’ve got the total clean version and it works just as well in carpets as it does hard floors compared to the dyson upright we had prior.
Anyone know whats better this or this one https://sharkclean.eu/uk/product/shark-duoclean-powered-lift-away-upright-vacuum-cleaner-nv801uk/
I have this one it's great. I bought direct from shark with free p&p. I would say the size of the head is fine, think a bigger one would be too bulky and difficult to move around. The waste capacity on sharks are not as big as a Dyson but a small price to pay for in my opinion a better hoover
I spent the extra and went with the larger head / bin. I think the bin is the main point although it isn't difficult to empty. The larger head is nice but I do find myself pulling stuff like dining room chairs out and struggle to get down the side of some places without pulling out due to the larger head which is a pain if your just giving it a quick whip around after dinner.
It is not a 'great hoover'..it is a good shark. heated.
Great hoover have it myself
Hoover, Candy and Indesit are all part of Wirlpool. We have had this washer for 3 years now. Very pleased with it. Washes really clean on 59 min cycle and spins much better than our old 1600 machine.
According to the Which? reliability surveys, 84% of Hoover branded washers are fault-free after 2 years and only 63% after 8 years, that's actually the third worst brand performance after Whirlpool and Panasonic. The relevant figures for Bosch are 94% and 82% respectively. While this is a self-selected population, their sample size is over 4700 which I reckon is probably far bigger than the anecdotal evidence of your friends and family. As for the energy consumption, I was actually referring to per kg consumption, adjusted for drum capacity (23.9 kWh/Kg*yr vs 22 kWh/Kg*yr). And mind you, that particular Bosch model is nothing spectacular either, their more expensive models (or most Samsung and LG models that are typically far more efficient) use even less. The A+++ rating on its own is pointless. As there is no A++++ scale yet, most models on the market are squeezed into the same bracket (despite huge actual differences) and you have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find the A++ ones from the likes of Hotpoint, Logic, etc. Anything else?
=/ =/ I can't do it. Think I'll keep plodding along with my Indesit. At least with that I know I can get home from work and panic wash and dry an entire load in a couple of hours. Thanks for answering
Not far off 3hours it takes.
