    Thanks op, I've been putting off upgrading but at 96pct full on my 200gb plan now so this is timely. Anyone know how a mid cycle upgrade is charged for annual plans? Renewed at 24.99 in Jan, will I be charged the full 79.99 now or prorated to keep the same renewal date?

    I've just upgraded. They add extra days to the expiry period to compensate for remaining time on previous plan. So mine has 450 days to run.

    I've got about £40 in Google play store credits (from reward surveys etc) but it says I can't use it due to insufficient balance... If I top up the extra £40 ish it needs, can you use Google play credit to pay for the 2TB option?

    In the "1" app it said I would get an email after 7 days to redeem offer. I assume to stop people claiming offer and then cancelling upgrade.

    Showing for me (also not far off full storage). Frustrating that it's only if paying annually. I get that it's to prevent people paying for 1 month then cutting loose, but £80 up front for storage is hefty atm.

    -15 months Microsoft 365 Family subscription for 40 quids (6 members, all have 1 TB OneDrive cloud storage with Office apps (now with CoPilot MI (based 9n ChatGPT) and Skype 60 mins international calls individually!)
    - Google 4K TV for 40 quids.
    There are no deals at the moment but always does maybe 1-2 months and gonna be again.

    I was already on 2tb so downgraded and the offer appeared and so got the offer. Basically this method works.

    Yeah it's on mine and I'm on 2TB paying monthly and got the offer. But since Google rewards pay for it monthly it's not really a deal for me. I tried the Google Chromecast with remote before and it didn't work with my 5.1 Dolby amp for surround even though it apparently supports it and firestick does so I sent it back. Heat anyway.

    I've got Basic, paid for by rewards. I make enough for some additional in-app purchases too, but to be able to cover a premium plan monthly, you're looking £96 of rewards. How do you rack up that amount?

    Edit: I just read the T&C's, it says the Chromecast can't be claimed if you previously had a 2TB plan when the offer started, so.not sure if it's possible now (edited)
