Same cost over 12 months as the last offer (£41.34 over 12 months) - Initial 6 months offer is £1.99 per month instead of 99p. But after 6 months, it is £4.90 per month instead of £5.90. So after 6 months, 5GB data for £4.90 is not that bad if you intend to continue with the plan

There is 20GB deal for £1.99 for the first 3 months through MSM. Potential £10.00 TCB. I posted that deal but HUKD decided to merge it with this one because it's similar however it's not similar at all. Link below 20GB for £1.99
Edited by a community support team member, 4 July 2023
The 3Gb plan is now 300 minutes, the previous offer I purchased this morning was unlimited. If that's important to you
DoublePortingDad
300 UK and 50 International minutes.
Robdataff
Anyone know how long these can be left before activating?
TristanDeCoonha
90 days is the usual time
imAldric
If anyone knows, how quick would the porting be done? I’m currently using Smarty which uses Three and I pay like £6 for 4gb per month. I think the deal is over now but gotta be prepared for the next one
nigelbutler
as a recent example from BT to lebara - requested early monday AM around 9am , number was ported tuesday 7am active
avoid weekends - imo do the above if possible. basically do it early in the day and early in the week (edited)
daz_75
Due to me having 2 numbers on my Vodafone account I had to speak to someone to get my PAC codes. They said they wont work on lebara as the FCA have banned internal porting. But lebara is a separate company just using the Vodafone network right? Anyone ported a number recently from Vodafone?
HUKDealSeeker
Why is FCA involved in a telecom porting rule and not OFCOM? Porting is done based on service provider and not network provider so porting from Vodafone to Lebara is allowed.

I'm currently on MSE plan paying £5.95 per month for 4gb which is clearly not good anymore given this deal. Question-- can I get on this deal or even the one on their site £5/month as an existing customer and keep the same number?
Rahan
Yes. You can purchase the £5 (without discount) plan from Lebara's website and select existing sim when clicking through to buy. You can also login to the website and view your existing plan and you should be able to "buy a plan" from there.
Best to turn off auto renew on the old plan and purchase on the day it expires. (edited)

I may have to switch to Lebara from Lyca who have just changed their network from O2 to EE (without informing customers)!.....and EE coverage is non existent in one of my places.
BarryJohnDavies
Did the same, looking for a decent data, and 6 months for Lebara, can't find one though?
SummerLovin
I just signed up to this deal. Always prefer staying Lebara. I just ported over my number back from Lyca, which was a terrible experience, so many delays. So hard to get through to customer service with Lyca and so much easier with Lebara. In 6 months I will port out again and back in.
Ankur_Bhadra
One notable issue I found with Lebara (Though I am pro Lebara and have no complaints then this one) is the call would drop at 29 min 50 Secs exactly in case you are waiting for an operator on the HMRC line or any customer care. Lebara have acknowledged the issue and say they have no solution for it currently sadly.
Soni210
That’s a real problem to have it as a primary number
chrissafc
One thing I find annoying with Lebara is on Bluetooth on the car when someone rings it comes up with the number for example +4412344567 and doesn't display the name. Not an issue on Lyca
afaruque74
Lyca was good but they didn't support WiFi calling as yet. That's why I had to leave Lyca.
Ankur_Bhadra
If you are an existing customer chat with the representative and they will offer £4.90 5GB deal if you tell them you would switch.
KashifHUKD
They do 5GB for £5 on their website, so I wouldn't bother.
queenied
I signed up for the 5p 3GB deal at the start of the year and just began my final month today. Somehow my account is now showing a 5GB allowance instead of 3GB. Anyone know why?
Rahan
It appears Lebara are migrating people from the 3GB package as they no longer sell it. 5GB package is the same price as 3GB which explains the freebie.

I just got 2 different sims (5Gb+3Gb) for my two phones. Is it better mo create one account for both or split them using different emails? Some people reported issues with multiple sims therefore I'm not sure.
mutley1
i have put mine under different emails so that the accounts are kept separate. i find this is better as then you are clear which account is which, especially when you stop auto renew on one and want to keep the other for example. simple enough to put the sims into different email accounts, keep life simple, why make things complicated?
update - actually i ordered the sims under different accounts, may be confusing their system if you had ordered both sims under one email and now want to separate them into different email addresses. (edited)

Just moved from Lyca to Lebara (switch every 6 months) yes customer service at lyca is non existent - I prob won't go back due to it, but my signal with Lebara is really awful. I think I'll try the £5 02 deal next
Soni210
Does the Vodafone signal checker show that the location is going to be poor or despite it showing all bands are available, mvno is the issue?
DoublePortingDad
Just doing a double port dance Lebara-Three-Lebara. You need to call or chat with Three to get a port-in request which is much more time-consuming than Lebara or Lyca for example (online form).
Also, the 2 numbers I am porting should be completed by yesterday 8/8/23, and today 9/8/23 still not done properly. One seems to be ported but I never received a text from three that is done. The second one is not ported at all (hopefully yet). Will see tomorrow.
gt94sss2
I believe the Three Pay As You Go app lets you port in numbers without needing to speak to them.
AL1S0N
Aha, the 5gb for 99p deal ended today :/
WhiteElephant
Oh bother. Can't believe I've missed it
Bryzill
Ripoff. I got 12GB for 79p !!
Onlydongles
WHen and where ? Links please?
Soni210
We need better deals from lebara …
litwoojczyznomoj
Thanks. Moved my wife from 1GB plan to this 3GB plan. 3x data for 41p extra p/m.
TomKramer
How do you transfer? Cheers
Mr.Plow
Oh heck I was hoping for them to ditch the giftcard on the 12gb deal which was due to expire tonight and replace it with a discounted rate again but I see they've extended it instead as they have with these.
TheMagus
Cold, previous deal was 5GB for 99p.
S_W
When does this offer end? I'm really keen on it but still have enough credit for another 2 months bundles with Tesco and don't want to lose it.
London_England
Hi, the deal ends on the 1st of August, according to MSE's website. However, I think you are able to delay the activation for 30 days after you have bought the SIM. (edited)

Are there any good data SIM only (without calls or texts) Deals out there? Could do with a bit more data for the car
Jon_Red
No, just buy a regular deal - it’s like calls and texts get thrown in for free. They offer unlimited deals for under £10 a month for a few months. (edited)
Onlydongles
TRied tis, but shows an error when paying with Revult card. Doest give option via paypal.
Any ideas?
Mooney70
You can pay with PayPal as that's how i pay my lebara bill atm.
burns94
Can you tether using the data abroad?
chillianna
Abroad is a big space, where were you planning to go. Our SIM didn't work in Australia or USA and had to buy an Australian Lebara SIM.
IamChris
Does anyone have a new link for the 20gb deal as the one posted fails.
ceanth
Fails for me also, i'm looking for the 20GB deal too
FAMILYGUY
I got the 5GB for 99p first 6 months last week. Finally ported over from Voxi, was barely using 3gb data per month with them.
raza786
nothing coming up 3gb? it may pop up after couple of days/weeks
Jaybeam
Can I ask a question? With these deals coming along 30day rolling, do you have to set up direct debit or can you pay monthly by credit card or PayPal? Thanks.
leemg3
Pay monthly using credit/debit card. Stop auto renew in app when you want to end the payments
Buckyball
Got a card for £3.49 first 3-month on 21 GB. Speeds are very slow and I live in the middle of a 5G area. Going to cancel asap.
Scrouge1953
Just press the button and it stops on your next renewal date .
L22EEW
Thanks purchased 3gb for the android head unit in the car, for Data (Maps).
As my current 1p Lyca deal is close to coming to an end.
Topper1900
This is the second consecutive sim I've received where the auto renewal is turned off, the last one I had to contact customer services to get it switched on at the start of the second month/first pay, there seems no way to turn on auto renewal on the app without purchasing another plan even though I clearly have a new 6 months plan.
Does anybody know why this is occurring and how I switch on auto renewal without having to call customer services again?
Rahan
When you visit the Lebara website and log into your account, do you see auto renewal switched off?
Chris_R23
had a sim for about 3 months now and now its asking for a code they sent to number( on the website), no idea why..
use the sim in a hotspot device
Rahan
That code is needed to link your SIM so you can view tariff information and manage it online. Only needed once.
DoublePortingDad
Is this the cheapest Lebara 3GB / 5GB deal for 6 months? 3GB - 0.99 5GB - 1.99
Thanks.
podi100
This is going to sound really dim, but cannot find anywhere during purchase how to keep existing number
Same phone, same time, same location. Ping and jitter are better on Lebara too. It seems that Lebara is better for me in South East London. (edited)
Chris_R23
4g or 5g?..sometimes 5g can get bogged down(so I've seen)..on 4g I get 70-100mb on Lyca in east midlands
Get about the same as you on lebara (edited)
nickeva
I am an existing customer and used the link and bought another SIM 5GB £1.99 for 6 months added to my account
hoggs
Would anyone know if this would work with an Apple 6 series watch. It's not the cellular version (e.f. no SIM slot in the watch), but I can speak/hear the watch during a call so long as I'm near my phone.
FetishVoo
As long as your phone is fine taking the sim. Lebara doesn't support esim
TristanDeCoonha
16 Aug 2023. Just to let folks know this deal is still live. Just ordered
20GB for £1.99
