not too sure it's worth £45 this

I have a pair of foldable platform / benches from wickes / argos, ~£20 when on offer ...2 in 1

works wonders as a bench to cut your timber, and excellent as a platform

This is workbench, table height for working on things/ holding tools etc. What you linked is a work platform’s, its lower for standing on when doing things normally out of reach but with more freedom of movement than a ladder.

I got this because im sick of my platform being covered in tools, also should be better than my saw horses in some circumstances. Also also, this has never been this cheap before. (edited)

Anyone got this? Any good? Better than the Keter one that crops up on here now and again? (edited)

I have this for 5+ years now an I can't seem to break it. I've really neglected this thing and thrown it around, it was standing in a puddle for a year and then used it to store paint and bricks in between DIY jobs. It still is perfectly level and not a squeek from it. I'd say it's decent quality, but I have to set it on fire before I give it my final recommendation.

Anybody know whether the holes on top take standard dogs or if the (w)hole thing is proprietary.

I own this and it's absolutely fantastic. it pops up and down in seconds and holds a serious amount of weight.

The smaller Irwin quick clamps work with this too. Just take the head off, put the bar through and put the head back on.

    A bargain at this price.

After checking, I hadn't realised that homebase don't have any stores local to me. There used to be 2 within about 7/8 miles.

Good deal if in stock though!

Trying to order one but it keeps failing at checkout with an error in the collection information box during checkout. Says there are 6 in one store and 8 in other. Can't order from either though.

I might be the only person that was disappointed with mine when I got it. It just didn’t open very easily and would get stuck half way. You’d then have to close it and try again. And again. Sometimes it would open first try. The amount of time it took to do it was no different in the end to a manual folding out bench only with added frustration. I returned it. I then tried one at Homebase and it was the same. It was nothing like as smooth as it showed on the promo videos. (edited)

I picked mine up this afternoon. Opened it up, looks like a solid bit of kit - it’s relatively heavy but reassuringly so if that makes sense.

I managed to bag one of these and picked it up saturday morning. When i got to the collection point there was a big line of them waiting to be picked up lol

Not bad for 45 quid and i needed something like this. Not sure i would have paid 90 for it though and i think they are 105 on amazon.
