Oh man, 2.99 means I don't get the free spin that we get with £3 minimum spend!
    Headingley_Lad's avatar
Purchase with a 40p supercharger sauce to meet the threshold (edited)

KFC like BK, Mcdonalds etc is very hit and miss when it comes to quality. Most are crap, but having said that if you are lucky enough and live in an area with 2,3 or even 4 fast food restaurants you may just find one that is good and amazing if you pick the busier times to go. I've started making a point of complaining everytime I get a cold or rubbish takeaway because as everyone is saying the food has got expensive and why should we put up with it?

Mcdonalds will just give you a free meal via that lovely £2.99 survey whatever the issue is.

KFC gave me an £8 voucher for a cold bargain bucket meal.

BK gave me a full refund om my order just for missing drinks when I ordered via their app.

So definitely worth complaining if you have legitimate reason to.

Without fail, our local McD gets our App orders wrong...I just email Customer Services and each time get 3 free value medium meal vouchers. If you don't ask/complain....you don't get. They're not making much money out of me lately...makes you wonder though how many people bother complaining....

KFC - I suggest checking food hygiene rating before buying. There have been some pretty horrendous ones!

Is it £3 minimum for the student offer?
    LukeJC94's avatar
They have completely stopped any deal with using student. Can only use when paying regular price. Can't be combined with any special offers
  5. northerngeezer's avatar
Good deal... Also waiting to see what they have in the offers section
    tek-monkey's avatar
I have a 50% off zinger supercharger meal, nothing else though.

Amazing deal. Can confirm this deal is available on my kfc app
    RedXI's avatar
Has this last week. 10 fries in the bag and they had no burger buns. Really amazing.
  7. Ukguy101's avatar
Good deal. I always seem to have trouble redeeming these deals, machine's turned off, or can't redeem on the machine or at the counter not accepting code. I swear most restaurants make it difficult, do other people have this trouble too?
    nofuture2020's avatar
I found paying on the app and just collecting works fine. I just do drivethru normally.

    51887113-I1Scp.jpgNot bad for £4.39
    Ends 7th January though.
    nofuture2020's avatar
Remember when that was the normal price for a meal from Mcdonalds/KFC. Shocking how high they are now.

2 Zinger burgers with 2 Fries for £9 on Uber Eats and Just Eat for those that use delivery services
    DCollector's avatar
    plus delivery and fees.
  10. imAldric's avatar
I hate my local kfc store. Everytime I go, their kiosks dont work and im unable to claim my student discount. I feel like they do it on purpose and when i went in 2 days ago they even had a poster saying we’re unable to use any offers from the app (edited)
    DealStacker's avatar
You have to use the counter for the student discount, that's always been the way AFAIK and now you can't use the student discount with other offers, apparently thats a new thing!
  11. J.D's avatar
I'd need to get 2 at least.
    cainer1's avatar
Or one of these and a gravy mega box
  12. Aerobiz's avatar
    Mini! I'm a growing boy.

Gone in one bite. Will have to lick my fingers for hours afterwards to feel full.
  13. Goldie7's avatar
This much heat for essentially a kids meal is comical to me.
  14. jimmiedodger's avatar
Its such a shame KFC photo's don't cook their food , like its shown in their advertised photos, ,and on their menu's as the food is nothing like what is delivered
    bavique3's avatar
Agree, tried this, and didn't look close to what's shown, but still ok for the price
  15. BasketTree7536's avatar
It's funny how if the burger is to scale to their popcorn chicken pieces, then that 'fillet' is more like a chicken nugget...
  16. SamSinghOfficial's avatar
It’s so small, don’t get it not worth it
  17. leeds85's avatar
    This a kids meal?
    TheOddDeal's avatar
    More or less, yes
  18. TheOddDeal's avatar
Do you need the app to get this deal or can you walk in and get it?
    Trafford_Bage's avatar
Found this on the screen without any membership or app, it just isn't highlighted or advertised so look for it!
  19. DealStacker's avatar
Just to contradict rumours on here. I got the free student popcorn chicken bucket on Friday with the 50% off supercharger meal deal off on the app at the same time. Whether it would of worked with this £2.99 I don't know.
    2Pac's avatar
51926146-cp5rP.jpgSo did I, just a couple of hours ago!

Standard kfc prices have gone through the roof.
I don't get many, but I do enjoy some fried chicken.
Happened to stop for a new years large zinger tower box, and a large fillet box yesterday, and it came to 23 quid. Mental, 2/3 years ago it would have cost 15.
  21. Adil_G's avatar
The amount of offers McDonald's and KFC are putting out in the last 3 months is actually ridiculous. I've stopped eating from these places due to social responsibility. (edited)
    Aerobiz's avatar
Thank you for your sacrriice, so we don't have to.

Great deal for healthy nutritious food 😄
    starsi360's avatar
Correct, it is a great deal but I think you are mistaken that it's healthy. However as with any food that could be thought of as 'unhealthy', it's fine to treat yourself in moderation.
  24. arthurmauk's avatar
    KFC small deal
  25. jon81uk's avatar
Thats a large snack not a meal.
    Alex_Colvill's avatar
    Small snack

eat the sandwhich in 2 bites
box of popcorn in 4 bites
    chips in 5 bites

Leave £3 down, wasted time in a que and still starving
  26. gregskellorn's avatar
Good deal, but given that half of their poultry is hung by the legs and electrocuted for religious reasons, I have moved away from KFC.
    jon81uk's avatar
Nothing to do with religious reasons, it’s stunned before slaughter no matter what religion the chicken is.

  29. KASOOR66's avatar
Got this deal yesterday. What a waste of money. Burger was so small it's shocking. Even at this price it's way too much
    breathe3asy's avatar
the zinger tower meal for £4.24 much better value idk why this deal so hot compared to that its less than a third extra money for more food and a drink
  30. Magpie81's avatar
Mini filler burgers the size of a postage stamp, popcorn chicken you can count on one hand and the chips are terrible - sorry op, voted cold
  31. s4jid's avatar

would need 3 of these at least to feel satiated
  33. Chapers_23's avatar
This is decent, but another month of underwhelming "deals" thou.
  34. oldsystem's avatar
Not great but better than nothing I guess.
£1 saving over the equivalent wrap and small popcorn chicken and chips.
  35. daniel.millssI4's avatar
Sadly KFC these days are cold, stingy portions. Dixy Chicken are killing them.
    Adil_G's avatar
If you're in London, Lakers Chicken is the best. If you're in Manchester, it's Miami's, Rocco's or Shake Bee.
  36. Tiger_King's avatar
I find the chips to be nasty
    jon81uk's avatar
The new addition of salt and pepper has helped a lot.
  37. CyptoHippy's avatar
KFC is horrible compared to Dixy Chicken and Favourite Chicken, some of these smaller indepedent chicken shops taste much better!
  38. dcx_badass's avatar
Thanks, got it today, decent deal and imo better than the £4.24 Zinger meal deal. Also the first time I've had crispy chips from them in a long time.
    jon81uk's avatar
I think them adding salt and pepper onto the chips has helped crisp them a lot, the salt takes some of the moisture out.
  39. gunner786's avatar
Count drink in takes it to £4.68

Maybe change the title saying small chicken pop corn? I'm pescatarian so I wasn't expecting chicken, I actually thought it was popcorn. I loved the fillet though
