Still £19 at Milton Keynes

I hope they drop the price there too soon. Most of the things had silly discounts in Chester Le Street. Like 50p off £20, but this and wooden kitchen (maybe a baby walker) was half price.

Still £19 at Milton Keynes

For bouncing your plums?
Cool.

Expired.

It looks like they have photoshopped a very small pic of that kid on to their trampoline photo - I guess to make it look larger. We have an 8 foot tramp and even our 4 year old fills up more space than that!

Time machine blah blah but I bought a 10' branded trampoline after summer clearance at about £70 from Asda,. I always pick up outside gear once Summer season is over. Unless I'm missing something about this that makes it special. Not voting as I don't know if this is something specific.

It says it all when there is a swimming pool in the same picture

I'd expect to get a swimming thrown in for that price

What happens when a child puts there hand between the floating bed and the frame? It's going to have such a poor bounce completely useless and encourage more than one person to use at a time so they bang heads together.

These are so much better than the usual supermarket type, glad my kids are too old for a new trampoline now, if you can afford it this is the one, great post + TCB too

It says it all when there is a swimming pool in the same picture

This is unfortunately indicative of the times...parents not letting their …This is unfortunately indicative of the times...parents not letting their kids do things for fear of getting hurt. It leads to the snowflake generation. Kids not knowing what danger is because they've been shielded from it their whole lives.Think back to your childhood...all the risky things you used to do as a kid...climbing up things...exploring things.... making mistakes falling off and learning your lesson etc...all part of growing up and making you a better person for it. The kids these days are missing out on that because they are shielded from any form of danger and therefore don't know what danger is so lack basic common sense now.Get your kids one of these and watch them have a great time on it...yes they may have an accident by not closing the curtain etc....but they will learn from it and it won't happen again.

I agree with the sentiment, but each to their own, I probably tend to be on the over cautious side with my son (he does have a trampoline though) - whilst we do learn from our mistakes there will always be the unfortunate few who learn the ultra hard way, so if a parent does decide to be protective I wouldn't blame them. I get constant grief from some of my family for insisting that my son is rear facing in the car for as long as he can be (ie until he reaches the weight limit for the seat or it is uncomfortable for him to rear face), but I'd rather disagree with them than see him suffer a serious injury that could have been avoided. Hopefully it won't turn him into a "snowflake"!

According to today's regulators and bureaucrats, those of us who were
kids in the 50's, 60's, and 70's (and part of the 80's) probably shouldn't
have survived.
Our baby cots were covered with brightly coloured lead-based paint which
was promptly chewed and licked.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, or latches on doors or
cabinets and it was fine to play with pans.

When we rode our bikes, we wore no helmets, just flip flops and
fluorescent 'clackers' on our wheels.

As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags.
Riding in the front passenger seat was a treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle - tasted the
same.

We ate dripping sandwiches, bread and butter pudding and drank fizzy pop
with sugar in it, but we were never overweight because we were always
outside playing.

We shared one drink with four friends, from one bottle or can and no one
actually died from this.

We would spend hours building go-carts out of scraps and then went top
speed down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After
running into stinging nettles a few times, we learned to solve the
problem.

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were
back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us all day and no one
minded.

We did not have Playstations or X-Boxes, no video games at all. No 99
channels on TV, no videotape movies, no surround sound, no mobile
phones, no personal computers, no Internet chat rooms. We had friends -
we went outside and found them.

We played elastics and street rounders, and sometimes that ball really
hurt.

We fell out of trees, got cut and broke bones and teeth, and there were
no lawsuits. They were accidents. We learnt not to do the same thing
again.

We had fights, punched each other hard and got black and blue - we
learned to get over it.

We walked to friend's homes.

We made up games with sticks and tennis balls and ate live stuff, and
although we were told it would happen, we did not have very many eyes
out, nor did the live stuff live inside us forever.

We rode bikes in packs of 7 and wore our coats by only the hood.

Our actions were our own. Consequences were expected.

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke a law was unheard of.
They actually sided with the law. Imagine that!

This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers and problem
solvers and inventors, ever. The past 50 years have been an explosion of
innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and
responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.

And if you're one of them - Congratulations!

My trampolines haven't had an enclosure on for years and mine have had a couple of falls but nothing serious and now they never fall off because they've learned how to bounce near the middle.

Time to jump into this deal!

Don't waste your money. Got this at my local Tesco clearance a month ago for £37. Netting clips snapped and fibre glass poles snapped.

They do have a lock on the outside so you can keep them enclosed whilst you go to the pub knowing that they'll be there when you get back

That's my concern, that they will not use it. I am thinking of a swing/rope type of thing instead.

I've found the price of this goes up and down.

That's expensive for that size. I paid the same for an 8ft from Argos and you can even pick up the 10ft at this price when on offer

Also looking at the pic the safety net is around the outside meaning kids can injure themselves on the springs if they get their leg caught between they mat and the padded spring cover (this does happen). Look for one where the safety net is inside the padded area.
