This is a good price but this style irritates me. Its 10ft diameter but you loose a foot either side where the netting is inside the mat. I'm sure it's because it's a safer design but we've never had any incidents with ours with the netting on the outside

Thanks Gill. I will give that a go. I suppose you couldn't forward me the screenshot? I went back on the website and with it been edited, I don't want to be fobbed off!! The ladders etc was the main reason I chose to buy it! It's already up now!! Should have checked all the parts before I put it up!! Thanks, Jamie.

gill501

Hi, I initially called customer services and they told me to send it back and they would send another but that's a lot of hassle so I spoke to them on the phone again and the agent looked in more detail and said it had been raised a few days before me that it didn't come with the described ladder and cover. She called Plum for me who said that model definitely didn't. Tesco only offered to collect and refund me, saying occasionally they make mistakes and get it wrong. I didn't want to return the trampoline just wanted it as described, the phone agent wasn't helpful. I then emailed on the off chance and with a screenshot of the listing and quoted Consumer Rights Act, the product should be "as described" it wasn't, I asked for reimbursement to purchase a ladder and cover. They agreed. Oh I also put in that we'd had to make two trips to Tesco to collect as they only handed us 1 of the 2 boxes when we went to collect! A bit inconvenient. Hope this helps.

jeh12369

How did you go about complaining? I thought it came with the ladder too. Put it up yesterday for my son's birthday and it doesn't come with one. Bought it beginning of March!

gill501

Yes they have revised the listing. I complained and was compensated for the cost of a ladder and cover as the ladder was the main reason for choosing.

rickinyorkshire

The website doesn't show a cover or ladder? Has it now been updated sine your post?

Green still in stock online & red has been spotted in larger stores for the same price As per the OP, you don't have to use it with a hose, can be used just as a toddler slide & £10 is cheap for one of those, I grabbed one when they were £15 for my friends toddler & it's really quite sturdy, don't think hers has ever been outside, they use it in the dining room :)

Time machine blah blah but I bought a 10' branded trampoline after summer clearance at about £70 from Asda,. I always pick up outside gear once Summer season is over. Unless I'm missing something about this that makes it special. Not voting as I don't know if this is something specific.

What happens when a child puts there hand between the floating bed and the frame? It's going to have such a poor bounce completely useless and encourage more than one person to use at a time so they bang heads together.

Oos so bummed I missed this as been looking for my daughter's 3rd birthday

Aliwoo18

I agree with the sentiment, but each to their own, I probably tend to be on the over cautious side with my son (he does have a trampoline though) - whilst we do learn from our mistakes there will always be the unfortunate few who learn the ultra hard way, so if a parent does decide to be protective I wouldn't blame them. I get constant grief from some of my family for insisting that my son is rear facing in the car for as long as he can be (ie until he reaches the weight limit for the seat or it is uncomfortable for him to rear face), but I'd rather disagree with them than see him suffer a serious injury that could have been avoided. Hopefully it won't turn him into a "snowflake"!

whaleshark

According to today's regulators and bureaucrats, those of us who were kids in the 50's, 60's, and 70's (and part of the 80's) probably shouldn't have survived. Our baby cots were covered with brightly coloured lead-based paint which was promptly chewed and licked. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, or latches on doors or cabinets and it was fine to play with pans. When we rode our bikes, we wore no helmets, just flip flops and fluorescent 'clackers' on our wheels. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Riding in the front passenger seat was a treat. We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle - tasted the same. We ate dripping sandwiches, bread and butter pudding and drank fizzy pop with sugar in it, but we were never overweight because we were always outside playing. We shared one drink with four friends, from one bottle or can and no one actually died from this. We would spend hours building go-carts out of scraps and then went top speed down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into stinging nettles a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us all day and no one minded. We did not have Playstations or X-Boxes, no video games at all. No 99 channels on TV, no videotape movies, no surround sound, no mobile phones, no personal computers, no Internet chat rooms. We had friends - we went outside and found them. We played elastics and street rounders, and sometimes that ball really hurt. We fell out of trees, got cut and broke bones and teeth, and there were no lawsuits. They were accidents. We learnt not to do the same thing again. We had fights, punched each other hard and got black and blue - we learned to get over it. We walked to friend's homes. We made up games with sticks and tennis balls and ate live stuff, and although we were told it would happen, we did not have very many eyes out, nor did the live stuff live inside us forever. We rode bikes in packs of 7 and wore our coats by only the hood. Our actions were our own. Consequences were expected. The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke a law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law. Imagine that! This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers and problem solvers and inventors, ever. The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all. And if you're one of them - Congratulations!

Badbear

My trampolines haven't had an enclosure on for years and mine have had a couple of falls but nothing serious and now they never fall off because they've learned how to bounce near the middle.
