This is the lightweight casual version of this jacket and not the full wax variant which I got excited about originally but still a bargain nonetheless

Thanks bought but couldn't get student discount to work
Whats' the quality of those jackets? I have a couple of waxed cotton Barbour jackets and they are great quality, but those ones look cheap and are made of polysomthing
Also this one available at the same price https://www.topman.com/en/tmuk/product/barbour-beacon-navy-starling-quilted-jacket-910326
Heat added. Thanks
I disagree! Belstaff is much better quality imo (y)
I find that barbour is better quality. Belstaff is really only a fashion brand now. It started off making under rated motorcycle clothes Each to their own I suppose.
Not a bad price, I prefer Belstaff myself (y)
Checkout Woodhouse clothing and Tessuti for some bargain barbour jackets. Ordered one with 57% off
Ok price but it's more like close to the going rate price. £126.30 at CHO with discount code "SUBSCRIBESAVE" plus there's TCB and it's available there in either olive or black.
Got this for £13 ages ago its a very very strong smell but longevity is questionable
The description is fine but says total price of £20.98 which doesn't add up that's all. Voted hot anywa

Mines the same. On or before the 14th.
Mine arrived. Going one size up is great advice, and I'm very happy with it.
No connection to HoF but we do have small family retail business & times are tough. I hadn't thought twice about buying from them even though M.Ashley + his band seem to be playing a very weird game & certainly the quality of goods in our local (Belfast) shop has gone steadily down hill in its relatively short operation - I can't think how, in the long term, the business can survive with current consumer trends, lack of visionary government policy and extortionate rates & rent, never mind the dire economic state & consumer spending power. Saying that I had immediate response from the dispatch team, updated tracking and notice from the courier until delivery to my door this afternoon. All in all, excellent service. After your inital post (& checking trust pilot) I did feel some anxiety & regret - it most likely would have put me off had I read it before. Maybe I just got lucky as it certainly seems many people are unhappy - however it's hard to know what to believe online. They did a good job and I for one am a happy customer. On Barbour, I wouldnt blame tham for sourcing a more competitive market to manufacture their goods - that's just business - and again it comes down to government policy & international competition. Fun fact - in the 1900's, Ulster had more linen looms than the rest of the UK and Europe put together - we're not still crying that China and India have stolen our industry. Barbour is still a great British brand with quality goods & I assume still with British designers. It doesn't really matter what the label says where it's made as long as proper QC, employee standards & business ethics are adhered to. Maybe in the future I'll buy Chinese designed goods, but for now I like to stick to British - most likely though the Chinese will swoop in & buy it out along with many other businesses that are wallowing in the aftermath of Covid-19. The jacket is a nice fit :)
(lol) (lol) Do you work there by any chance? If you look on Facebook, Instagram and trustpilot you can see how bad it is with them. Why is it then that the complaint numbers were so large (many off people still waiting for a refund for stuff they returned in December) that they've stopped updating their FB and Twitter and disabled commenting on their Instagram? You say to support them.... You think it's acceptable then to be waiting over 3 months for your money back like many people are? I've been waiting about 3 weeks now for mine back. There's no reply to messages and hasn't been for a long time. Email address bounces and they don't have a phone number. Add to that there's countless other people who have had problems with dirty and damaged items being sent, stains on t-shirts, But alas everyone here on HUKD's who's posted about it, the 100's, yes 100's of complaints on social media. The 1.5/5 trustpilot rating, the 100's of reviews this year added to trustpilot (all negative), are all wrong because you were one of the 0.0001% who was lucky with their order? Actually..... funny you say about Barbour being "quality from a great British brand" I've been buying Barbour myself for over 20 years now (it has nothing to do with HOF, Barbour just supply them). Several wax jackets from bedale to corbridge, tempest wellies to the merino cashmere scarves.... And I can tell you as even stated by Barbour themselves that very little of their clothing is made in Britain anymore. In fact if your jacket doesn't say "made in England" in the jacket, chances are it's made overseas (I think it's Lithuania or Latvia).
Ordered on Wed and recieved on Mon with absolutely no issue. My experience with HoF has been excellent and I wish them the very best for the future. People need to support British high Street retail - more so in the coming months when they are reopened. Much Spring / Summer stock has already been bought and although there will be bargains to be had, we should spare a thought for the people behind the scenes including floor staff, logistics firms, SME owners and yes, even the faceless corporates - all have families to support. Buy local. Stay safe. Oh - it's a great jacket too. Nicely fitted + great quality from a great British brand.
Yeah and you are highly unlikely to ever receive it if you order from house of Fraser. Just take a look around at their reviews.
I have a Barbour Bristol which has exactly the same problem, very uncomfortable and a complete waste of money for me unfortunately!
Well put (y)
After all the strokes Ashley has pulled , zero hours contracts , parliament’s investigation, todays chancing on keeping Sports Defect open , risking lives . and still people buy from his tat empire?? He deserves to go Financially bankrupt To match his moral status.
So let me get this straight, they know they don’t have these in stock, show ridiculously cheap prices for people to buy take the money get a ton of interest while we be scammed and out of pocket???
Any chance of making a complaint to higher authorities about this? Sick business practices.
I just ordered 4 items and received an email half an hour later to say all 4 are out of stock. No refund yet. Tossers.
Maybe worth visiting a store for this offer, if/when they reopen!?
Three orders cancelled within the hour. Avoid !
Another Ashley con
XXL ordered and cancelled within 10 minutes
Everything cancelled after ordered
Lots more different styles for the same price
Well, you were warned to stay indoors..
Expired now 😥
Times like this I wish people would understand that I haven't got a massive head it's just that my ears are social distancing each other...
Hey, does anyone have any 20%/25% discount codes they are not using with Nike that they could give me?
The thumbnail looks like the guy that delivers my burgers on a bicycle.
...their models look like serial killers (horror)
It needs more buttons.
How much do you have to spend at this bloody shop to get free delivery, or even COLLECTION????????
Totally agree. The international range is very slim fitting. Compared to the normal barbour range, sometimes you need to size up twice.
I own a good few barbour jackets (perks of living close to factory) and each one is a different size. I would never buy one without trying on first.
Size up guys, slim cut. Very good jacket tho.
Supprised to hear that. I have a Barbour bedale with the thornproof wax, it's fantastic in the cold. No wind gets through the wax, in fact a zip in warmer would make it too hot for me at least.
Bit like your script writer get him/her sacked immediately
Not that expensive paid 16.99 in tkmaxx, seems like learn something new today
Coz that’s HUKD for u :S
What was the point of posting this unless they had more than 10 in stock ? Still a hot deal
Out of stock. Shame
The only sizes now available are XL (Copper - a sort of mustard yellow colour) and XXL (Dark Seaweed, which looks greyish to me but may be something else). May be selling fast. Heat added though.
Sadly sizes no good for me. Love Barbour jumpers too
Isn't this 20+ years old fashion? Barbour still think they are doing us the honour of selling 1990`s design in the year 2020 because of their name.
Sorry but not for me for that price, can usually snap up a babour jacket for around £35 to £45 in some shops. Best to wait and look around
Great coat for work
If it wasn’t for the textural interest, this would be a boring jacket.
French and Saunders chopping off fingers and throwing them to the dogs.
I'm sorry but some of the Barbour stiff is tacky as hell nowadays!. This is ok

Ugh. I'd hate the notion of being proud of a clothes brand and so much so that I want to showcase it to the world. It matters less on casual stuff like a gym bag but if it's an item I want to respect, it needs to be well made but also unbranded. I might buy it reluctantly with discreet branding but it's always a negative for me.
Maybe, but it's different to the mainstream logo branding (Hugo boss, Ralph Lauren, etc) which people often wear in an attempt to show off. Some Barbour stuff is getting a bit mainstream but for most of their range, people love the quality and like the logo on their trusted 10 year old waxed coat or bag because they are proud of the brand for serving them well over those years.
Nice bag, ruined by having a label on it. Classier not to brand it.
