it the bullet today and ordered a green one from CPW.

I didn't really get anything apart form a few £££ on TCB going through eBay. Too be honest, I was going to shop around but decided to just get the order in to get the headphones, their sale will be worth more than anything else and when I was looking they were OOS most places, seems to have picked up in the past 24 hours, but if I cancel my order, it'll take them ages to get the money back to me, I'll just have to leave my order in. Cheers Rich

Currently using a Pixel 2 XL , End of life in Dec but the Pixel 5 doesn't really have the wow factor. Was thinking if I wait till Christmas would I have a better deal than this? If I am going to get a phone and use it till EOL I might as well get the pixel 5 > 4a

I doubt that they would. However the promotion with the 4a 5G starts later if you want that one?

Anyone know what warranty CPW give for the phone?

(y) Thanks, it's good for people to have the standalone price in this post, too. This is for people who are in the market for a new phone contract and get a decent Voda connection in their area - and also may not want to fork out £500 in one go £10 per month for 54GB 5G Data with unlimited minutes and texts seemed pretty decent to me :D

Lol. I've been getting to sleep gradually later recently and sometimes miss the odd detail in posts late at night. I need to find a way to reset my body clock (lol)

A lot of people might disagree but I could never really recommend the pixel line to friends and family asking me what phone to buy next. The bad reliability track record, the high price and the hardware that was always more playful than premium. The assistant doesn't work great in my native language. I want to like the Pixel devices every year and every year they seem to get closer to making a great device but it always has something missing. I had a Pixel experience ROM on my phone installed for a while and it was great. But the hardware just doesn't live up to the price or to the software in my opinion. Every year I marvel at what they can do with the cameras. They also seem to be missing a greater vision. Introduce Face unlock and soli in the pixel 4 just to remove it in the 5 again? It just doesn't make sense to me. Every year the pixel packs so much greatness but fails to deliver a great complete product

Oh you're right! I actually didn't see the 5G part in the Pixel 4A title. My bad! Apologies, I should really go to bed earlier (I woke up for a wee and saw this reply as I posted my link before I went to bed lol) :(

Yeah I've had my omoton one since launch and had to squeeze hard to get bubbles out for 10 minutes. But since then it's been perfect

I never felt like I was going to break it, just pressed quite firmly and moved outwards on each bubble quite a few times. I did spend ages cleaning the screen first as I didn't want to have to do it again! The white plastic thing that came with it was useless, I used my fingers in the end to apply the pressure.

When it comes to screen protectors, I ordered one from eBay for £2.79, after a week of no show, messaged seller and asked for new one, but got the refund instead. I find it a bit weird as he still had them in stock... Ordered Spigen, 2 Pack, Screen Protector for Pixel 5, Glas.tR AlignMaster, Auto-Align Technology, Case Friendly, High responsiveness, Pixel 5 Compatible Tempered Glass Screen Protector: Delivery scheduled for 31st Oct...

That’s my worry, press too hard and smash the actual screen. I’m very heavy handed The omoton for the 4a was perfect, this one seems a little troublesome. Will keep an eye on the bubble situation overnight and report back tom

I've had an omoton on since launch. Ordered via amazon and came from Spain. Went on easily, had to press pretty hard to get rid of the bubbles but it's been great since. Headphones arrived today, first pair of decent wireless headphones. The noise cancelling is immense, can't hear anything with them on (other than my music!)
