For anyone who's looking for Norton Deluxe on its own, I just got a 1 year sub for 5 devices for about £8.50 on ebay and it seems legit.

Are you sure? How much is 15 month subscription of 365 Family WITHOUT them?

Which is better, Norton or McAfee? Complete noob with this stuff. I bought 15 month deal last time and never got round to installing the Norton

This can be a good deal too but is only valid on the 12 month, not the 15 month. As of today, the 12 month (without anti-virus) is £66.95 though earlier this month was £50.99.

The combo of eligible device and 12-month 365 can also be eligible for the extra 3 months via a manual claim but subject to terms that I got wrong.

I had checked with live chat as the retailer list link does not work. Though they said it could be from any retailer. I also queried the device as a headset is a PC accessory but does not fit neatly into one of the groups. The person on chat confirmed a headset would be eligible.

However, the device has to be first, then 365 has to be within 30 days of the device. Or they can both be at the same time. I made the mistake of thinking it was for a valid device (the headset) bought after 365, so was rejected.

Just buying the mouse (or other eligible item) will only give the voucher when all items from the order are delivered. I bought a mouse in July but an ink cartridge in the order didn't arrive until August, after which the £10 voucher arrived. The next time the 12 month was a decent price was 6 September. The gap between them is more than 30 days.

I am going to try again hoping that an SD card I bought just before 365 counts as external storage.

Mine and my wife's phones are full and I'm toying between Microsoft & Google.

Before my Google Photos filled up, I'm sure it used to tackle up my photos and remove them automatically off my phone to free up memory. Do they both do this?

Not automatically no. But have you got Amazon Prime? You get free unlimited full resolution photo storage included with prime. Then you only need to pay for cloud for video. Which means needing significantly less storage.
