Needing a licence key download for microsoft office

Posted 15th Jun 2023
My son needs to use Microsoft Office today. My laptop doesn't have it. Where is the best place for a digital download without breaking the bank please folks?

If he has a school email address, then try logging into office.com with it.

This is best option. If your son is at school, or higher education, they can log into office.com with their school email address and password. They get office 365 for free as long as in education.

Teachers and classroom assistants get this also

Edit - I forgot to mention I believe you can install it on up to 5 devices legitimately. (edited)

    Is gamers.net any good

    gamers-outlet.net

Never tried them but interested in finding out if anyone has feedback on the site.

Open office is a free alternative.

    This.
And if OpenOffice isn't preferable then Microsoft have a free online version of Office too.

They're install keys, they don't activate. Microsoft makes them freely available (on their website) because for home users, they offer no more than clicking "skip" on the 'enter product key' prompt!

    Yet more clickbait reporting....sigh. (edited)

LibreOffice is very good and free.

    Google Docs is another option

Probably too late to the party but you can get a one month free trial

That gives you a month to get a cheap code.
