Got my boots today. They’re ok. Definitely buy a size up. Quality seems to be ok. Nothing to write home about. Guess you get what you pay for. Would have been disappointed if I I’d paid full price. Might order from them again. Not sure yet. We’ll see. Thanks OP. (Edit for a boot the leather isn’t very thick. But that could just be the type of boot I purchased. The pics on their website somehow make it look more like a premium product ie thicker leather. The Caterpillar boots I purchased elsewhere were way better. Obviously in a different price bracket. Just an observation. Might help someone).
More underpants deals required.

Clarks Men's Bampton Lace Brogues from £21.40 @ Amazon£21.40Amazon Deals
Off the back of yesterday’s Clark’s deal I noticed these at a reduced price. Thought I would post incase they were any good to anyone. Size 7-12 in stock at the moment but no 10’s.
Amazing price for those suitable. I bought these approx 3 years ago when starting a new job (full price!), and wear has been good. My only issue is, I prefer going for footwear that doesn't clip-clop when you walk, which unfortunately these do. Fab price though :D
Whelp. Guess I'll have to cut my feet in half.
No worries - it's right there in the first line of the description "Size 6 only atm"
Can't see anything saying size 6 only sorry if I'm looking in the wrong place
Yes - have stated that in the description (y)

I got a pair of the 1880 ones a week or so ago - lovely shoes and equally as nicely made of Jeffery West or Oliver Sweeney traditional lines. Bizarrely they seem to have more in stock now but they are now only reduced by 30% so it seems the decent bargains have gone.
The "Loake 1880" brand are the ones you want. They're quality and made in England, whereas the "Design Loake" are made in India. There are some "1880" brogues on the Debenhams site for about £35 more (size dependent): https://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_084011591675_-1 The problem is Debenhams doesn't distinguish between the two, and doesn't show photos of the inside of the shoe with the identifying label, so you might have to do some googling to work out which is which.
Love my Loakes and as others have said these just need new soles and heels and have owned my pairs from 1999 and are still fantastic.
paid more than rhis 10 years ago, only wear them a few days a year, but like new still
great find ordered a pair

Hideous shoes, awful colour AND they're plastic - yuk! Why are they getting heat? Good to see the lad's got some socks but can't he have trousers long enough to reach the shoes? Is he a used car dealer with a lot full of 10 year old Audis?

Why would anybody wear these ? The colour is awful, materials too
These are made from nothing but papers to be honest. No point wasting money. Consider leather shoes paying extra £10
For a second there I thought it said Leather Loake.

Yep. That’s correct. Otherwise Paypal deal wouldn’t be needed.
Yeah I was under the same impression that free returns are only for faulty goods not change of mind returns.
Not sure the law says automatic free returns. Only for faulty goods. Check this out. moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/consumer-rights-refunds-exchange/
Not sure the laws says they do for change of mind returns, only if they send a faulty item I'm not overly familiar with consumer law But Which suggest this is the case https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/advice/i-want-to-return-something-bought-online#:~:text=High street shops don't,by the Consumer Contracts Regulations. I have also suggested paying by PayPal and using their free return service if required.
