Are you ser

Do you think Waitrose will do half price off all Christmas cakes again this year?

I personally wouldn't put anything past tesco.

I very much doubt this, have you any idea how much storage is? No grocery company would keep a food product on the shelf for 10 months. Too many variables.

Maybe trying to off load last year's stock before they run out of date. Although they do tend to have long dates

Bought the coffee one this morning. Just tried it now. Its really nice apart from its got loads of coffee bits in it, feels like they've put half a jar of coffee in with it. It's abit annoying

As with all holidays, the best thing about them is going to the supermarket the day after when all the themed foods are 75% off.

My Spookybois will be pleased.

Do people vote hot for everything? Nice little item and £1 is fair, but hardly deal of the century.

It's always this price?? My two little ones are milk and gluten intolerant and we bought one of these last week whilst we were on holiday and it's actually not that bad!

My daughter has 2 allergies; dairy and egg. They are different allergies

Why is that turd smiling at me?

If I was allergic to gluten I'd go without cake rather than inflict a gluten free one on everyone else.

To be fair, gluten free stuff gets a hard time and it used to be awful. It gets better all the time though and the sweeter items like cakes are pretty close. Pasta is ok. Bread varies...the pricier well known brands cant touch tesco own loaf for me. Thanks to OP for posting

Not sure to be honest, never really noticed. However, this discount is only for their celebration cakes only, so even if they did sell macaroons, the discount would not apply.

I got a juggy type one from a poundsaver type store for about a fiver (I know paid £4 too much, think they saw me coming lol). The battery run out fast, and it turned into a bas*#rd to try and replace the battery....and so its now rotting away in the elephants graveyard of old dodgy (though seemed like a good idea at the time) kitchen utensils that every home has in the deppest darkest corner of the kitchem or utility room (if you're semi posh)....or the maids quarters (if your old-monied) :{

flat digital scales that you can weigh any bowl/jug/jar on are better.

That's when I got mine too.

They will also break after a couple of years as the glue that holds a bracket on the side of the silver dish will fail. Good idea but poorly executed... (I had one which now binned

these are fantastic for weighing letters and small parcels had mine for five years. Other half borrowed it in the kitchen and stacked pans on it in the cupboard and broke it.

Quite nice, high fibre but very small at 24 and 25 g for square and bar.

Yeah I’m not surprised. They have been difficult to get hold of even when full price. People who know that are probably stocking up.

These are stunning, sold out in a few hours at my local asda at £1.50!

I find that with Home Bargains, sometimes they get a bulk order of something in which is never to be seen again. It would be good if they do permanently stock these though as they won’t be £1.50 permanently in the supermarkets. Mind you the original Square ones are nearly always on offer in one of them at some point.

Home bargains had them at this price too but a bit hit and miss wether they have the stock or not
