I can concur with the exact experience. The Huddersfield branch was all out of everything by 5:30pm . .with 30 mins of trading to go.... The poor shop assistants was doing the best she / he could and I was fortunate to claim the very last remaining apricot danish pastry which was pretty good with a fairly delicious cappuccino but was given it in take away format although it was a good 30 mins before close of business.. It did feel more like I was dining in greggs that a high standard tea shop. .. I did feel like I was waiting in the holding pen for the Jeremy kyle show!

However, I did rather enjoy, in a rather smug, schadenfreude way, watching about 20 soap dodgers (students) being told that there isn't any left . The looks on their little scruffy faces was a picture.. Ah..bless...

As it was a complete freebie I didnt say anything but had it not been on the house then I'd of been very unimpressed with the service.. I don't think the staff were too impressed by the rush of custom. I may visit again to try out the full
