I agree with you both to an extent, as I find the top of the range tm lewin very good 140s cotton for the hot weather ct are better for most else imho but they're mostly thick twill afaik

I've owned every PlayStation since PS1. I'm not saying I speak for the masses or anything, but I wear cuff links 5 days a week every week! I think maybe you've stereotyped gamers as children or teenagers, when in reality there's probably just as many 30 something year olds like me as there is kids. The question is, would I wear novelty cufflinks? Personally no. It's not as bad as a novelty tie (not that much is) but it's still not really something I'd wear. Strangely I still want a pair though (flirt)

Picked up a couple. One as a gift box for a vintage Accutron I bought for my Dad's birthday this week. About as cheap as getting a regular cardboard giftbox to put it in! Keeping the other box for myself for when I'm travelling. Overall quite a nice box. Cushions are a bit cheapo, but I have have no complaints at all for £4! Fair enough. I was just giving others an idea that if they wanted something with a bit more quality, there are other options out there.

There are other colours. I've seen/felt the tie they look/feel ok. OToT Someone like me on budget who has to watch the pennies £8 for a tie will be too much. Once one finds a job then maybe £8 silk tie will be good.

I have to check these out before I can comment but the red tie looks dodgy . tk max stock some great jaeger silk ties for £8 to £10. They look quite nice and great value for money. M&S flog their cufflinks in the past for a fiver. Decent quality IMO
