I have bought a watch from Argos before and they adjusted the strap FOC. So if I do decide to keep it I'll ask them to sort it.
I picked mine up, need to figure out how to adjust the strap but for the money I'm happy, nice weight to it, looks nice and seems to do what it says on the tin!
Picked mine up. Looks nice. Confirmed with them that Christmas return rules are in effect.
Anyonelse have this watch? I reserved one and can pick it up on sunday i think.
Due to pick mine up tonight. Undecided after reading some of these comments. Might ask to take a look at it first. Also were at the Christmas period where we can take anything back up to Jan 24th (or some date at end of Jan) for a full refund if bought for a Christmas present. so I guess it's a no brainer really? :)
Received mine today and they were personalised, very very happy :D
No worries, it might be that the un-personalised ones have dispatched quicker perhaps? :/ I guess that would make sense now I think about it XD
Just got dispatch emails on the reduced £99 ones. Both were personalised so am pleased to see them dispatched with so many ordered I was worried (shock) Thanks again OP
Thanks for letting everyone know!
Mine arrived in gorgeous boxes too for gifting. Love them
My wife has this watch bought it last year when it came out. You can change the face to a more traditional face. Yes times move on and technology improves but it is a good watch for the money IMHO.
Nearly all the smartwatches from say Samsung or Huawei can change their straps to metal ones.
Everyone keeps complaining about this model watch on here, but offers no other better alternative? Whats the best metal strapped smart watch out at the moment for a reasonable price?
Good grief - that's hideous! (shock)
With so many features missing, I would rather just skip this one and go for something a little more expensive bu that can actually be called a smartwatch :) COLD
I have this model, battery life is 14-18 hrs.😥 However if you tinker with the settings you can get 24hrs. Watch looks great and the removable 22mm straps mean you can dress up or down easily. I got this in store for £120 (4th gen was about to release) and can say it's definitely worth the money.
Stock flew last night .. Gen 3 it is ..
Oos as others say, i cant tell if this is a gen 3 or a gen 4 but it looks like (and would make sense) that its a gen 3 hence reduced to clear, if this is the case, might be worth keeping am eyr on the other gen 3 models will also receive a discount too
24 Hour Battery Life......Ouch!!
Pretty nice watch for really good price :)
i was so confused and its cleared now.. thank you
Its just the style that has been discontinued the manufacturer is still in business and will cover your warranty if you have any issues. They have sales to make way for new watches and styles but they all still tell the time. If you like the watch then go for it but that's why its a good price as its not the latest style. I have had my watch for 11 years now and I don't think the manufacturer still makes the model but I still love it and wear it
I am looking to buy michael kors watch and found this model MK3406 attractive as well as good price at goldsmith. when i searched this model on different site it says it is discontinued and no longer available. Is it worth to buy discontinued watches ? please help.
Ordered... bloody hotdeals (mad) Possible....8% cashback with Quidco

Bit more info wouldn't have gone amis.
Can't apply discount
They are cheap rubbish. Poorly made and mass produced. Certainly not good watches. If you want a good watch, buy one from a reputable watch company that are known only for watches. They don’t need to be expensive, just good. In this price bracket, Casio would be the best option. Companies like Fossil, Michael Kors, Boss etc are just trying to cash in on their success in other areas. It’s no different to Heinz or Hotpoint suddenly deciding to make watches.
Nonsense. Great timepieces and the first watch maker I turn too. However I agree with both these comments.. As I've viewed this one in person and its far too dark. Its nothing like the picture so be careful.
Terrible watch. Looks nothing like the picture and was so disappointed. Returned straight back to Amazon on the day. Don't waste your money. Freezing from me.
Warning this doesn’t really look anything like the picture. Far too dark making it difficult to read the time! Returned mine last time this deal was on
If you scroll to the bottom, you should see a black bar just above the very bottom that has a box to put in your email address. :)

How do you get the newsletter sign up? I cant get any pop ups while browsing the website :(
Not that bad . Reviews here :- More of a watch than a smartwatch https://www.smartgeekwrist.com/fossil-q-wander-review/ https://www.techradar.com/uk/reviews/wearables/fossil-q-wander-1327670/review https://www.wareable.com/fossil/fossil-q-wander-review
only that brown model
Yeah my other gen 3 model I had was lasting around 20+ hours.
Same my Q wander usually has a good amount left by the end of the day (but doesn't last overnight to the next day).
Maybe you are lucky....just keep hold of that receipt. Its a very nice watch...but left me feeling a tad disappointed
My battery has been fine, normally around 25 percent left at the end of each day
You'll be lucky. Had mine for 3 months and the battery would last no more than 4 hrs. Chucked it on for refund. They offered me another one but read horror stories about average battery life and not going down that road again. Good price. Crap battery life
Simply ghastly colour!!
LG Urbane I can get 48 hours from it but generally always lasts a full day
That's a very Generic statement based on your own experience. My Sony SW3 NEVER runs out in 2 days. You must have a bad example or some app which eats your battery life. Bad luck on your part by the sound of it. Try resetting.
not a bad price. if using an android watch, carry a spare watch. my watch can last all day (90% battery full by end of day, --OR-- 100% empty within half a day). There is no way to know how the day is going to be. OS Wear is an awful OS, alas.
Very cheap quality imo. Heavy, poor fitting charger that fell off and extremely poor battery. Returned the one i bought.
the code does not work..so disappointing (mad) !!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordere the fossil Q Nate but the 20% off code didnt seem to work :(
How long do the batteries last on these? I know they quote a year, but bluetooth/activity tracker/vibration coming off a little watch battery.... What's real world usage like?
Haha yes, I’ll try that next time!
Thanks - Ordered.
I have one of these, it was a gift, I don't like how long it takes to download/update apps and I have a decent internet connection, it thinks you are trying to scroll when you press the main button as it is so sensitive, no NFC, no amoled, but I love how it looks with metal and leather straps
You can get the notifications, I mean you can get a buzz, that you have something. Also, it measures and displays your steps.
Have some heat, after wearing a Huawei Band for a year I would miss my notifications and step counter, and the fact it vibrates when I walk too far from my phone, (reminding me I have left it behind - again!) but the fact it won't last a week without charging, and it isn't exactly 'styish' makes this look like a great compromise. Voted hot.
I have got the bracelet hybrid watch. Absolutely love it. This is a good price considering their hybrid watches are above £150. Definitely heat.
Agreed it's comical and regularly drops connection with my phone. Causes trouble connecting to one of my cars too.
Interesting their smart watches were all oos 2 weeks ago but seem to be back in stock now.
For some reason it absolutely destroys my phone battery too. this really is a poorly thought out product and should just be a nice looking watch
Step counting is comical too it's way out. I'll keep it as I wanted a cheap nice looking black watch and these smart features were a bonus.
This looks lovely and is nice & weighty. However mine is more of an expensive paperweight and I, nor Fossil Support can get it to connect to my phone. Want to exchange it with Amazon and I'm only being offered a refund - G'ah!
Oh god been out the house an hour and it didn't react when the wife called. More junk that doesn't do the job.
Are there different versions? My hands do not show up in the dark at all it's total darkness.
Currently £95 in the Silver bracelet version
Battery is free replacement at any fossil store like swatch
Main things i find useful are step and sleep tracking and vibrations when my phone rings...useful for when it's on silent. It's very much basic smart functionality, however my view was that a 'standard' decent looking fossil watch was £60 so not much more to get some basic smart features
Thanks for the info. The guy in the store said the battery was covered as part of the warranty albeit you are right, even if he was incorrect in this statement its only a £2 replacement job
What's smart about these?
