Not much of a "mall watch" guy but that's actually pretty nice value if you aren't a watch #### like me.
Cheers for the link for the review - was interested in buying this until I watched the clip as I thought the face was bigger than what it actually is. This is a nice looking watch and have given heat but for me personally I prefer a bigger watch
It is reduced from £329 but it's available on eBay for £172
When I access link it says it’s on offer from £329 but OP title says reduced from £172?
Not that hard to find - Timex / Seiko / others call them "easy reader" watches, and if you use that definition you should come up with some. Even Bauhaus-style watches should be suitable. Some watch brands call their clean, simple dials Scandi-style (Skagen being a well-known example).
Personally I can't stand chronographs - much too fussy. All I want is an attractive, affordable, watch with a clean, uncluttered face and the classic day/date function. These were ten a penny when I was young, but seem really hard to find these days
Nice watch. Got this for £23 when the codes were stacking around Xmas time.
That looks great. Shame I bought a watch on Fruday ;(
Got this on a previously sale on Fossil's website. Lovely one.
Yes indeed - Fossil quoted me £90 to fix the watch. The same watch brand new was going for £75 .. 😵💫
Very sad A brand that worked hard to make a name for itself and just for no reason trashes it. I mean as a company which can crave a high markup cause of its name Why still make trashy watches
Totally agree - wouldn’t make time for them 👀🙈
Fossil watches ? Had 3 of them, all 3 let water in within about 90 days from new , very good lookers but build quality was a huge no no
I have it, purchased it last time for similar price £40ish - as there was 50% cahsback on Quidco which took nearly a year to pay, but it did in the end. The watch itself is OK looking, not as good as in the picture and the 48mm is huge, rather than classy it looks a bit tacky on my small wrist. So if you have a larger wrist then £45 is a good price for it. Not hot, but warm from me :)

How is it hot. People you have veery low expectations. Seriously? Cheap bracelet with hollow end links, quartz, bad lume, now screw down crown, mineral Cristal? Uninspiring design...all that for what? Fossil written on a dial?
Recently purchased a fossil watch rrp £119 got it for nothing, quality ok worth about £40 at best.
I do not think it claim to be a diver's watch in the same way most of the Orient watches we see here aren't diver's watches either.
I seen this £18 too but u can’t get at this price so deal
Thanks sir! I been on the fence on both for ages, and now you've helped make up my mind
Can report after a week of use that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is a much better smartwatch than the Fossil. Used it for a few days with the Oppo Find X3 Pro, and then a few days on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the battery life, responsiveness and display are much better on the Samsung.
The battery isn't very good on the Samsung either tbh I'm getting rid of mine as I need to recharge it at some point throughout the day if I want to use sleep tracking, which I just find annoying. My Active 2 had better battery life
Yes, that's another good point -- the charger's magnets aren't very strong and I often think I've put it on charge when going to bed, only to find it at 5% the next morning. It doesn't take long to charge though if you do forget -- definitely under an hour. On a side note, I reset the watch after writing my original comment to see if it would help. Now I think about it, the battery and responsiveness issues seemed to go downhill after I downloaded Strava and YouTube Music so I could track my runs and listen to music without my phone. Again, could be anecdotal, but I can't wait to get rid of this thing next week assuming the Samsung watch performs better.
Good price but I will wait and see it working after Wear Os 3. It is not a big enough jump from my Gen 5 to justify upgrading which will be the main problem for most people
