Redex fuel clean for petrol and diesel - £2
Found 20th OctFound 20th Oct
Redex fuel clean for petrol and diesel half price at Tesco. Its that time of year to get the car in order for winter and thought it would help someone

Cheaper to take the fuel filter off. Then fill it with ATF and watch the smoke!

It's sad ain't it? Average speed would be higher though.

Scooter...ha ha

Driving a car in London has become an extortionate cost. Forget the costs of the car, maintenance, parking, fuel, insurance. If I got the daily driver car I truly wanted, you're looking at costs of in excess of 1k a month. Xiaomi battery powered scooter and a car-club membership is all you need for town.

Cool...always on the look out for a new target 🎯

Check out comments from last time this was posted https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/cat-construction-express-train-set-2000-tesco-free-cc-2535091 My own comment was "like ukgaz I came to warn of really poor quality. I figured it was a b&m job. not that there's anything wrong with b&m. they do a lot of cool stuff. my son is a bit younger than the age specified. he got it as a present from his auntie for xmas. even so he couldn't get the train on the track unlike his other sets. even his mum struggled. the track doesn't fit together correctly. ours went up once and is now set for the bin. such a shame as he luvs trains and diggers"

People have allegedly received fakes from Amazon so if it seems too cheap there might be a reason for it

Nice one :-)

Found this www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0060LG5X4/ to compare, it's over half the price but 4x the volume. Although I heard amazon is a bit scheister-y with fragrances - you don't know what you're getting etc?

Ah well the art of dialogue and discussion has changed that ;D

A reminder of why we're in correspondence: I said "This is a deals site, not a political sounding board". I'll stand by that, as will HUKD. Your deal posting history suggests you may have overlooked that.

Still haven't really addressed the core issue... no counter argument and therefore an attack on spelling. If you have anything useful to add then do not comment. And you should be flattered that I called you a "smart guy" ... kisses Lastly wikipedia doesn't count :D

So someone who rides a bike can't drive or know anything about cars? Okay.... Interesting logic there but may explain why you could believe this could do anything. Without wishing to turn this into a religious matter, have you got any proof it does work then? Other than vagaries like "my cars feels faster, quieter, more responsive, starts better , gets additional 5mpg etc" I have tried this btw, makes sweet fa difference, other than making my a couple of quid lighter..

My dad has a van that failed it’s MOT on emissions, he put a bottle of this in & went back two days later, easily passed. That’s proof enough for me, he also said fuel economy noticeably went up too!

It does work as it's fixed the start up problems in my golf!

This stuff does work.! we used to get smoke on startup on a fiesta diesel. this stopped it.

And with you being the cyclist you would know how exactly? Got definitive proof it's snake oil?

sorry only just got back in. 28 second heating oil is basically kerosene ( look on boilerjuice for delivered prices). The main thing with this type of heater is to make sure the fuel going in the tank is CLEAN and no water in it. You will notice that the heat output drops slightly the lower the fuel level gets in the tank due to the air pump they use to lift the fuel and pump it through the nozzle. Some similar heaters use a Danfoss style pump which don't have this effect but do suffer from corrosion if the slightest water gets into the fuel. NEVER use bio diesel as this will rot the fuel pipes and damage Danfoss style pumps. The only slight adjust that may be required is a tweek to the air/fuel pressure to optimise the heat output (a screw on the rear of the air pump type is quick to adjust. Just run the heater in a low light area and set it to a light orange dome with a full tank of fuel and it should change to a dark orange dome, without being fumey, at almost empty).

Ours is used in an open unit with extractors going all day, sensible use is obviously required

Thought this was a torch on a trailer, like something from Gotham City, disappointed.

Hope you've got a carbon monoxide monitor... and I wouldn't fancy being the poor souls working in a soup of diesel exhaust fumes - there is a good reason that cars have very strict emissions standards, even outdoors.

Please explain further are there any mods required, eg cleaning etc..

I agree the nissan a more comfortable car like ride which is fine if you use it as a car but as a truck (which is what they are) the ranger is better, it is better under load and carries more, it is better at towing, it is better off road, it can wade through 800mm of water (deep!!!) oh and don't forget the first pick up truck with a 5 star ncap rating! And the ranger looks great!! So if you want a car buy a nissan, if you want a truck buy a ranger (lol) (y)

Had a ranger a couple of years ago but didn’t get on with it. A very hard uncomfortable ride and a bit cumbersome round corners. Had the Tekna version of the new Navara for a couple of years and find it much smoother and pleasant to drive. 5 year warranty on the Nissan is a bonus. Worth paying a bit more for the Tekna version. Bit cheaper here

When was the recall, last I heard Nissan had not recalled these Navaras and were dealing with complaints case by case. There is a massive group of owners who were last I read making a claim through a firm of scolicitors. I heard Nissan have been repairing vehicles, replacing chasis, implimenting preventative measures and even buying affected vehicles back from affected owners but I don’t think there has been a recall.

Massive main dealer recall on the older shape model, chassis rusting out and some being painted under warranty and others being written off.Hopefully as mentioned already problem now sorted.

Yep, I had one 2006 nice truck but I sold it when 3 years old before any mention of chasis problems. If i Bought another I’d only keep it 2 or 3 years anyway. If your worried just get it filled up with waxoil. Ranger is a better truck anyway

Well that is how Britain survives: on the basis of fake wealth created by ridiculously high prime London property prices fed by foreign investment of dirty money without any effective control, keeping Britain just about afloat. That's also why people who would never previously have dreamed of owning a £50k Audi are driving them on £650/mth PCPs. No skin off my teeth. Just stating the purpose of cancellation is not for self-benefit or getting one over the dealer and/or manufacturer.

Nothing to do with capitalism. You could buy a used car but then you are not comparing like-for-like. This calculator could give you an impression of the future residual value of a car, adjusted for age and mileage.

Any good for petrol?

This stuff really doesn't do much. I've had more success 'cleaning' the injectors and top end by running the tank down until it's on fumes (to avoid dilution) and then putting £15 of Shell V-power in. The car is a 1.8 petrol Mazda which only drives 20 miles a day.

Good luck! Feel sorry for you...

Spoken like a true 'expert' who really knows nothing. Miller's and Forte are NOT the same stuff and are nothing like each other and are definitely nothing like Redex which is a snake oil. Stick some Miller's in your diesel car and do about 100 miles for it to really kick in then come back here to comment.

Although Millers does improve the cetane numbers so you get much improved combustion, a cleaner burn and thus less emissions, better fuel consumption. Modern diesels do need driving at high revs for a few miles occasionally to clean out the exhaust by getting it red hot and thus burning any deposits. This also helps to clean the exhaust gas recirculation or EGR which causes a lot of problems in modern diesels.
