Yup - everything in stock that does not meet NEDC emissions and isn't derogated will be registered to either dealers and/o fleets by the end of this month.

Petrols too

Come September will there be loads of dirt cheap non compliant/approved WLTP diesels? I assume dealers will just pre-register all such cars to get round this thsi - either way could be some cracking diesel deals available later in the year... buy 1 get 1 free..

HS2 project; they seem to have loads of money - 25% of HS2 employees are on over 100k - so I would try them first...

Depends where it is tbf! 3 bed semi in Ayrshire. The car would look braw outside it though! https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-74611199.html

The affected cars are completely irrelevant, but to keep you happy; Golf, Civic and 520d - all were less responsive to throttle. This was over a period of years at different branches as I thought perhaps it was the maintenance of the tanks at one branch that were the problem, maybe bacteria build-up that wasn't resolved. My colleagues tell me to interchange supermarket fuel with premium brands every second tank, preference for Sainsbury's and next tank being Esso.

What were these vehicles you used this diesel 'on' and what were the performance results? Why did you go back two more times if it had such a negative effect? Did you inform Morrisons? What do you use now that's so much better? We need facts if we're going to listen to your nonsense.

You've no idea what you're talking about. All retailers treat fuel differently, whether it comes to how it is stored, what additives they use etc Ask your local trading standards offciers who test and inspect fuel - that's where I got my info from, straight across my desk. EDIT: I've seen your post claiming 30 years in the motoring trade - heaven help us all if this is the extent of your knowledge.

Think prices may have gone back up now? Just drove past it...

You guys missed out on the MY 2018 one of these. I picked up the V90 D4 R Design with 20" Rims and a Reverse camera for £2500 initial rental and £209 a month. The D4 Momentum for 18 months was £1999 initial and £179 a month. There was also no admin fee as it was direct from a Volvo dealership. I would recommend going to a Volvo dealership with this offer and seeing if they can beat it. They matched my offer from another Volvo dealership. It's a nice car, MPG isn't anywhere near what is quoted and significantly worse than my old C Class but maybe that is something to do with how much I use the Pilot Assist to do most of the motorway driving for me.

Consider me a massive cock then (lol) all part of being a delivery driver, you drive slow you go home late and dont see your kids for long and yeah ive had some great times in a matiz

Ill give that one a miss broke my nose in one of those when i was six my mate pushed me down a steep hill into a brick wall was still fun though (lol)

Camry is on its way back as Toyota are dropping the Avensis (now that was a boring car) As for the Matiz now that was a fun and interesting car to drive, small, light, peppy engine and tiny skinny tyres made you feel like Dave Starsky at 30mph MM

Getting the car to drive itself whilst on the motorway unfortunately lacks a bit to much driver involvement for me, yes it is relaxing whilst on a long journey but boring! Yes it's full of tech but very little of which is there to enhance the driving experience. I do not have T8 or D5 so I don't now what it is like to drive one of these. I agree in as much that if you a prepared to drive like a massive cock any car can give you some sort of thrill. MM

Sounds a bit of an odd thing for a garage to say. It goes in your fuel not your oil or air intake, why would it destroy a turbo??? It doesnt go through the turbo in any way so I'd say they talk (poo)

New cars - most of my personal experience is with VAG cars but it’s similar for most others - alter fuelling depending on fuel quality. Spark timing, ignition angle, injector spray duration, requested load vs actual load etc etc. are all altered among others. As I said, Audi in particular even state in the manual for many of their performance cars that power output will be lower for regular fuel and optimal for “super”. An instantly higher mpg suggests a leaner burn and can be (but not only) because of the ecu telling the engine to develop less power for the requested amount the driver and car are asking for. The ecu is monitoring this constantly, and compensates via the short term (instantaneous changes) and long term (habits of the driver and demand) fuel trims. Nothing should run rich any more as they are closed loop systems. The ecu knows the temperature of everything and the amount of everything (air/fuel/boost/request) and tweaks on the fly. Less quality fuel (e.g. contaminated by redex or whatever) will cause the ecu to back everything off and you will get an instantly better mpg. Not always admittedly but generally.

Poorer fuel will cause the ecu to burn rich, thus decreasing fuel economy. This can work to help some cars, but new and we'll maintained cars it will likely make little to no difference.

Posted that on the wrong thread. I was meant to post that on the other deal were it's packaged as "pre mot" on a pack

I think it's marketed for sustained use. I would think twice about that.

You need this stuff if your car is like this,

Sure that's what it's designed for. Pre mot once a year maintenance

I wouldn't be fearful of putting the odd bottle in now and again but some additives have been known to cause damage. nepis.epa.gov/Exe/ZyPDF.cgi/P100BZ6K.PDF?Dockey=P100BZ6K.PDF

Bigger bottle has mark on the bottle showing the half way point. You still have to guesstimate though (annoyed)

Depends really what you want. If you want this ans just throw in every tank. Or stand there measuring out the bigger bottle (flirt)

These are available instore and can confirm they are only 90ml per bottle which is one shot. The other versions are 250ml(2shots) which are better value considering they are currently available for £2 in places such as Asda etc...

Try in-store :) They always have. Once post on here they will be soon oos keep checking and click for email update

They're all at it. They've just discovered Nissan are, meaning Renault are. They all have to be as most manufacturers figures are wildly unrealistic to achieve over vw. At least with vw you can get close to the published figures. Try that with Renault, Nissan or Hyundai.

who else was at it ?

I think you'll find that it was the last labour government that started the push for everyone to buy diesel not this Tory government

This known as an Italian tune up in the trade. Many old diesel's will have to be scrapped now new immission standards are in

Great post a deal for it then?
