Total bargin so much game for the money, and being able to play off line too using the GOG version is a real bonus. still play this once or twice a year.
All Dragon Age Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2020
I remember liking this game and at some point wanting to replay it for the different decisions and romances only to have nightmares about the endless repetition and fetch quests I would have to put up with, so even at a £5 I wont bother
On nightmare the combat is quite challenging. Horses for courses.
How did you manage to not drop dead doing the same repetitive tasks over and over in each and every map?
This game isn't as good as the original DA:O, but very few RPG are. I played through it last year on Nightmare setting on my PS4 and thoroughly enjoyed it. At £4.99 you really cannot go wrong. One of the few games I've stuck with long enough to get the Platinum.
I played this game twice I thoroughly enjoyed it I paid £10 for it I would not hesitate to pay £5 for it. Completed it twice (y) . Alot of game for the money But it's no Skyrim if we are being honest
i bought DA:I the other day and im enjoying it! you can tell the game is older graphics wise, it could really do with an 4k patch but the music and story so far is amazing well worth the price if youre into high fantasy! cant say the same for ME:A unfortunately, couldnt really get into it!
You know what, i will use 5850 points from my stacked 40,000 mS rewards points for a £5 xbox gift card and grab this bundle for £5.99, so £2.99 for each game and all the DLC....sorted, thanks MS for all the free money. lol
So £11 for dai goty then cos mea isn't worth the disc space.
Around £4 from Argentina. ...
"award-winning developer BioWare" - let's not talk about Anthem eh? :) But these 2 (and a lot of their other games) are decent games. I'll get back to Inquisition...one day. Good pice as well. +Heat
One of the best games I've ever played!
When Bioware were a world class studio.
this is a great game.
For those having trouble, you need to go you device settings here and change Country/Region settings under preferences to United States.
Also experiecing this issue (though I paid using my real billing address in case that is an issue). It says it's ordered and there's nothing to suggest a refund has occured, the invoice simply has Status: Pending Edit: I decided to buy another game, Titanfall 2, and this time it shows up in the purchase history of my linked account, whereas the other two don't. And none are in my library. Very odd (confused) Morning Edit: I can confirm that your orders may take a few hours to process. Overnight saw Andromeda successfully in my library but TF:2 and Dragon Age got a refund.
I use allkeyshop https://www.allkeyshop.com/blog/buy-sims-4-cd-key-compare-prices/ I always check who the sellers are. Don't just pick best price. But Check reviews. Kinguin gamivo and eneba I have used before 5 euro 79
Having the same refund issue with inquisition and titanfall. Maybe they ran out of keys?
Cannot for the life of me gets these to work. Where's the cheapest place to get Sims right now?
ahhh right i understand now
It's blind boxed isn't it?
Bishop from the Aliens line looks amazing. Shame he isnt stocked
There's more Doctor Who ones too. Thanks op x
A Titan model of Lovejoy! Perfect gift for Nanna!
really enjoyed the game. well worth a play through at this price
Good but too long game. Beautiful sceneries though and fights with dragons are epic.
Might have to give this a replay! Loved the dragon age games
The worst game in the dragon age series but a decent price if you have yet to play it.
Tried to play this before corona hit and it was tedious as HELL... combat is based around squad spawns, its pretty bad. The dragon fights are actually decent but overall the crafting system and the way the world works is horrible. I wanted to love it too...
Never played the witcher (not much of a gamer tbh, though this lockdown might change that!) I like to pause during combat to check what's going on so it feels quite turnbased to me, but if you get your tactics sorted you can just let them get on with it
Nice. I haven't actually played these games. But at this price I'm thinking of dipping my toes in. I have read they are also lengthy. I haven't played such a long game since The Witcher 3, which took me over 6 months. Would I like Dragon Age origins if I loved The Witcher? The combat looks different. It almost looks turn based but I have read it isn't and can change between tactical and direct. Anyways, glad you took advantage of the offer. (y)
Thanks for this! Been playing for 4 days straight and it's quashed my need to get a console (lol) (lol) so you've actually saved me £250+
No, there are dice rolls in the background to determine the success of each attack but it's real-time combat:
Are these all turn based?
I wish the DA2 DLC went on sale at some point
You used a key
Loved origins, just bought dragon age 2. Thanks.
Frequently £5 for Goty edition on MS store.
Yes, don’t play any games that are old or are any games in backwards compatibility library. They are too old to play apparently, even if they are decent games. (fierce)
This is an excellent game for people who have enough time to immerse themselves in it... which is most of us at the moment, I suppose.
It's still £25 to buy from the Sony and MS store.
It doesn't detract it from being a decent game.
You can get this for £7.49 at CDKeys! :)
I got the game of the year edition for 3.99 in the psn a few months back. This is not a very good price. I don't even think this edition includes all the dlc
Worth every penny. It's still a great game.
Thanks for posting; we have added your thread to the Highlights section (y)
Loved all of 'em. Hope the next one isn't screwed up like their other series
Dragon Age 1 and 2 are really good. Might bite.
from memory, when i played this with all the expansions, it took me ~100 hours. Well worth the money
Ultimate edition is a must! What a classic game :)
It definitely doesn't look "poor" graphically. It's 10 years old so does look dated, any game would. I bought this exact version last June and I can tell you that it's extremely buggy. I'm not sure if it's the GOG launcher, or using it on newer operating systems but the game constantly crashed in Denerim. In one of the DLCS there was an invulnerability bug and in another DLC you're imprisoned, and stripped of your items (which you're supposed to receive once you escape, however I did not). I had to reload a previous save from an hour or so beforehand and remove my items before I was jailed to resolve the bug. I still LOVE the game though.
Texture mods and lots of other goodies ... https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage?tab=popular+%28all+time%29
I imagine theres some mods knocking around that make it easier to look at, at least? Lol that's what I'm doing with kotor at the moment which predates dragon age, just HD retextures for the areas and characters.. Can't do anything about the game play mechanics that may be outdated though
it has, one of the best rpgs ever made (y)
Fantastic deal Been playing this game on and off for years. and sure I'll do another couple of runs this year too.
This is one of my favourite games of all time and the DLC is excellent too. An absolute must for any RPG fan who hasn't played it yet, specially at this price. Much heat.
I've had this edition of the game for a good while, never brought myself to actually play it, what is everyones thoughts?
Pair this with that lidl digital only Xbox one deal and get yourself a stew going!
Great game. I’ve spent long hours playing it 2 years ago. Plenty of fun and very addictive.
Yeah that'll happen when you only get to get a deal 3 days later :p
24.99 for me
Big game! Little price buy buy buy!!!!
post a deal XD
Bioware are a pretty RPG focused company, so you're pretty likely to either like most of their catalogue, or dislike most of their catalogue as a whole. If you do happen to like (Bioware style) RPGs there is a lot of quality in the games they have developed through their history.
Overall possibly one of the best games I have played. Gives you hours and hours of fun. Yes, it can be a bit 'grindy' at times but what do you expect from any RPG. Defo value for money!
Its a great game, but the end game gets way too grindy. Defeating the last few dragons takes levels that are almost impossible to attain without serious time put in.
Never a game series (or for that matter a games company) I had any love for. But this price is pretty darned good. For the right person there's hours & hours of entertainment for a measly £3.99. Kudos
You can read some reviews, seems like a good RPG depending on your style.
Aye, spotted it this morning, I think the only problem is that some will be saying 'it's not £13' despite fact prices have gone up and I haven't seen many flying DeLorean's recently.
They're also currently offering 15 months of PS+ for ~£32. Not too shabby! https://store.playstation.com/en-id/product/IP9103-NPIA90007_01-PSPLUS15MONTH001?smcid=id-en_ps:com_psvita-top
May just nab myself battlefront 2. At this price even considering nfs payback...
Heat for Star Wars battlefront 2 and Red dead is a decent price for digital copy. Good work Joey (y)
I'm confused. What's the point of giving heat just for posting? Isn't that meant to be for the deals? What's the point of this site otherwise?
