All Glenmorangie Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2018
damn fine. 2 bottles delivered today..... debating with myself (while I sip away) whether I should order more before the price goes up
Oof that looks like it will put hairs on your chest. Lovely
One of your 5 a day. Drink!!!
Thanks, ordered. Good price
Scotland now has a different alcohol taxation system introduced by the SNP government which makes most alcoholic drinks more expensive than the rest of the UK. Hence the separate offers leaflets for scotland .
So whisky deals in edi Hold? Never tried the qc how is it?
Will have a wee look at Glasgow Costco. National drink list is frosty jack, buckfast, meths and milk, then white lightning, all washed doon with diet irn-bru. Mmmm
Quarter cask is £30 in the Liverpool store - looks like these deals are regional
the first being irn bru?
P[ease put whisky in the title next time or it doesnt show up in searches or Notifications. Thanks for posting.
Much prefer this to the 10yo. More complex, more body and more flavour - but more pennies too. This is a good price though. Cheapest I've ever bought it was £32 I thinj
Has anybody tried thia, how does this compare to the 10yr glenmorangie?
Thanks for sharing your first deal @hotmc - nice one (y)
Good post @Turbodogz definitely should be hotter than it is.
Thank you! This is my first post and I was wondering what I’d done wrong!
£5 cheaper than Asda. I guess some of the Trolls or Super Posters are knocking you down. I put a post on here and another poster piggybacked my post saying his was the better offer. Thats how competitive it gets on here. Heat from me.
No idea why this has gone so cold - looks like a decent enough deal to me.
I therefore rename you the uncultured new lizard :D
All malts, mainly Talisker, Lagavulin, Deanston, Aberfeldy and Dalwhinnie. Also partial to Glenmorangie 10 so was surprised that this was quite poor
What sort of stuff are you into? I didn't like it to begin with but it grew on me
Each to their own but I found this to be very poor, one of the worst malts I've tried.
Beautiful whisky. Well worth £30+. A steal at £22. I got it for £25 in Morrison's last year.
I think this probably my favourite of the glenmorangie's paid £25 last year and loved every drop, definitely going to check my local! EDIT: None to be found for me, guess they all got whipped up! :(
I bought these for £34 each on ocado probably last year. In addition when you spent over £100 you got £35 off so worked out £22.33 per bottle (highfive)
It's been this price on Amazon for ages.
Absolutely lovely malt this, very rich in flavour thanks to the Port cask finish, but £44 isn't a huge bargain imo as it's usually this price at Ocado and even places like the Whisky Exchange do it for £48. I mean, this is a deal for sure, don't want to crap on the original poster's bargain here because it's legit and through Amazon you're getting free shipping to boot, but you might want to look into first shop vouchers from ocado to see if you can get hold of it with a £10/£20/15% off 1st shop voucher, etc. I did this myself last year anf nabbed a bottle of the Lasanta and the Quinta Ruban for £35 each. Good times!
Available at Cardiff, too (Leckwith Store, not checked others)
This offer was on before xmas too. I bought 3 litres. Still have 1.5 left so will give it a miss this time around. Cracking deal though
Got the 70cl gift set for 25 squid @ Costco...rather have 30cl more alcohol tbh. Oh well.
The 1L is £30 in Sainsbury's. This deal is cold, its £37.14 per litre
Highlander approved. Fortunately there can't be only one.
Same price as other supermarkets though, and one that always reduced somewhere.
Excellent deal, heat added!
Oh btw the Costco site is a totally different business from the stores, usually a few quid more expensive than the stores hence why when people click the link above it shows a higher price via Costco's site
Glasses cost peanuts no matter what shape they are, every year distillery's skip them by the pallet because new designs are brought out, I was gifted a few boxes of very nice glasses/tankards recently for free otherwise they'd have Been skipped, last year's design on them
I must be tired I thought it said with 2 free cucumbers. (cheeky) I wad thinking what the..
I,m actually not a fan but this is a decent £25 whisky. Too sweet for my taste but no way this is a bad buy. Heat
Exactly what I have done. 20 bottles and counting. :D
2-4 weeks is okay by me. Great spot OP. Loved A midwinter nights dram hope this is as good.
Mine came out a £30!?
5 in stock when I posted. Mines on the way.
Usually dispatched within 2 to 4 weeks
Too sweet for my taste but a decent price for those that like.
dont get me wrong, my other favourite is Drambuie!
There is a strange snobbishness with Whisky "Malt is good, blend is bad" amongst some people Its all subjective. If you like it, go for it, if you don't, well don't. We all have different tastes, and budgets. I love a single Malt, but I also like Stewarts Cream of the Barley, amongst others. If it fits your palate, and your budget, just enjoy it.
is this really hard to get hold of? I bought a bottle for around £23 in duty free about 10 years ago. Great taste, always thought it was a blend! And then not seen it around in the shops...
They go for around £200 or so at auction, so worth going that route if you want one. It's still too much for me to spend when I could have 3-4 other decent bottles for the same price (or 1 and around £150!). The price is just a factor of the scarcity plus having a few fans who create a fair level of demand, as it's a tasty tipple!
Maybe the most similar will be Glenmorangie Duthac. It's more difficult to get hold of, but is also finished in PX casks.
Great price same price on amazon if you have prime. I don’t so this has helped me out thanks (y)
Seriously, no one spotted the movie reference?
Tasting Notes: Nose: Very distinctive, clean, oaky peatiness. This character is in the background throughout. Palate: Flowery. Fudgy. Toffeeish. Nutty. Very soft, restrained, spiciness. Then toasty and peaty. Finish: Firm, clean (almost crisp), peatiness. Then long, very soft, spicy and remarkably warming. (Tasting Notes by Whisky Magazine) Who thinks this terminology stuff up. I guess I'm a heathen To me you either like it or not. If a whisky tasted of flowers, toast and peat, I'd be thinking there's something really wrong here. Anyway, this whisky is lovely and great price too. this ham sandwich I'm eating, has a very distinctive haminess character. steve
Costco have them for £24 instore if you have a card, but this is a great price for a decent whisky, you hardly ever see it below £25 or indeed any whisky
There can be only one Oh yes
£22.50 at coop with NUS Extra.
Nice deal grabbed a bottle today I’m my local currently £30 in Sainsbury’s so heat from me
Still available, picked a couple up today

It's why they call her scary Mary.
