Already posted but heat anyway

Lots of rides closed when we went a few weeks ago. This is Legoland deal not Alton Towers :/

Agreed! I hated that placed. Seems very dated and the queues were horrendous.

Awful place this. Went a couple of weeks back... over priced and a constant money grab for everything and everything... food on offer is awful and the whole place just feels like its stuck in the early 90s... all "theme" parks are a money grab but most at least try to be a good day out too... this doesn't even try that. You pay near on 50 quid each and they have the cheek to charge you £6 for parking... queue jump thing doesn't actually let you queue jump at all and is £60 each... Massive disappointment and surprise anyone that's been would want to go back... "Little Timmy" would have as much fun at one of the far better days out the UK has to offer.

I understand the pain and suffering caused by the accident in Alton Towers a few years back, and the devastating affect it had on the poor teenagers' lives, but after the accident, and I feel bad for saying it, there were hardly any queues for the following 2 years, which worked out well for me and my family. The queues are are back with a vengeance this year though ;(

Nnj10 could you share discount code please?

Just changed again do it every year, cheapest one in our region, saved £600 + over the the big 6 including BG it’s really not worth staying with the big six just use MSE refresh it every so often and see who is the cheapest they give cash back on many deals and you can also use their results to get cash back from sites like quidco if you he cheapest is on it. And I could have saved more but want the flexibility of no exit fees. We are with Breeze now, Bristol Energy before that, Co-op before that. And you do know they are one of the expensive companies for that as well :(

which is what i have !

They don't just do energy, lots of people have boiler breakdown cover with them.

Why expired? Still available...

btw i went with Kellogg adults go free offer, which i think still running. marginally more expensive if you do all 5 but easier, more flexible and if you don't do them all saves money! the 5 for 55 is well advertised all over london, the Kellogg offer not so much.

Newb question, can this be used by another person, ie if I don't want to go to sealife can this be given to someone else?

sorry not sure, I started of with sea life attraction, which i now can't alter but the other 5 can be altered, can you select another attraction to start with?? they may have grouped those 2 attractions together as a 1st choice so that would possibly mean that you can't change the times on either the eye or cruise

Sorry, I've not used the deal but others seem to have found it straight forward, maybe they can help. I should imagine you're doing it right tho.

I find there clothing are way too tight, prefer Gore, much better fitting and quality fantastic.

Got mine today. Way too tight. Go 3 sizes up

Probably true (though cyclists aren't always blameless) but either way it's you who gets hurt!

I know you are a cyclist. I said that. No one is taking the moral high ground. My point is that this mandatory hi Vis and helmet discussion is blaming cyclists for their own vulnerability without tackling the problem, dangerous motorists. It's victim blaming, and as a cyclist, you should know better than to encourage it. Just so you know, I always wear a helmet and I wear bright colour while commuting and I'm always lit. I DO wear black in group rides, because visibility is hardly an issue there. Those are my choices. If a car hits me it's still their fault either way

I have a proviz and agree its the only thing you will be seen in at night. I also have proviz like strips on my backpack cover, and numerous lights. High Viz is only really useful at dusk and dawn according to research, black was no worse during the day. My personal experience is that you get people who don't pay attention when they are driving and you could be dressed as coco the clown and they wouldn't see you as they just aren't looking. Unfortunately these same type people venture onto bikes and get cyclists a bad name. To echo the sentiments of one of the other posters. I am a driver, dog walker, pedestrian and I try and give due consideration to the others that I share this world with. Unfortunately not everyone does.
