No I work in Market Research, the vouchers are available through the fairly decent employee reward scheme.
Expired now
I cant seem to find the voucher code.
Gone, sorry ;(
Has the code expired ?
FYI I had John Lewis price match Currys at £169 and also claimed the free cover
Thanks for that...
It is an anymode case, from what I checked from Samsung, I think this is their official case, besides that it is very good quality case. https://www.samsung.com/my/mobile-accessories/tab-a7-anymode-book-cover-gp-fbt505amabw/
Is it an official samsung case?
Case is OOS now
Teco buy has it for 165
It's no longer available at the cheaper price
how to get for this price ? curry website showing £219
Anyone got a refer a friend code they could send me thanks.
The one I received from JL wasn't Samsung branded
Just opened this up on Christmas Day. The case is truly awful. Cheap and nasty doesn't even cover it. I think it's overpriced at Free...
They refunded you £17 for a free case??
Thanks for the advice. I just ordered a pink EasyAcc case for £4.94. The 50% off voucher is still available for the pink case.
Yeah I'd of returned case too and got better quality one from Amazon
The case is rubbish. If I'd known it wasn't going to be magnetic I wouldn't have bothered with this deal, and I'd have bought from a better supplier. Spoke to someone from Curry's on chat and they said I could return the case and they'd refund me £69! :o Thought that sounded way too good to be true, but took it to my local store to return and they said the refund would be £17 (annoyed) Picked up the EasyAcc case from Amazon for £4.27 (50% off voucher last week) and much prefer that. Better grip, easier to hold in portrait (official case flaps around) and magnetic.
For anyone worrying about delivery I ordered 2 (with the free book covers) from John Lewis about 10pm Friday evening and they both arrived today (Sunday) and that was just with normal delivery option.
Same deal available from AO now for £169. Shows free delivery by Thursday if worried about receiving it before Christmas.
You can buy it from John Lewis and Curry’s and pay for express delivery. Both options still work out better than Argos as you get it for £169 you get the case and you don’t have to queue in Argos (y)
That's all good. But for those wanting the tablet in their hands ready for Christmas, it has to be argos...
Ordered from JL but sadly arrived without the cover. Phoned JL and after 5 mins hanging on received profuse apologies. The partner said that he would credit me with the cost of the cover and also pay £6.99 so that I could order next day delivery. Can't see Curry's doing anything like that.
They’re usually advertised on here, but you can also Google for the ones listed on the Very website. The one I used for £35 when you spend £70+ expired on 1/12/20, but there is currently one for £30 when you spend £60+ which is valid until 29/01/21 - it’s QYYHN I’ve now submitted the deal on HUKD! (y) 🏻
How do you get the new customer credit?
Great deal bud.
I noticed Very just dropped theirs to £179 as well, and as it hasn’t been delivered yet the refunded me the difference. So it’s £147.99 (£179 - £35 New Customer Credit + £3.99 Delivery) and it appears my TopCashback is also going through, so that another £5.76 (5% TCB) off making it £142.23!
I bought similar to this supposed be like new from currys ebay too and the back had a noticeable area of visable surface scratch on the back so be wary. I expected to be like amazon warehouse where its like damaged box or customer returns
How much of a guarantee do curry’s give - is it 2 years like JL?
Ohhh thanks for letting me know! Will check my local branch over the weekend! :)
This was £169 in currys today then when checking out there was a free case included. Kendal store
Thanks heat added, just got this for £149.65 (if TCB pays out the £8.45) plus using Currys vouchers from a work scheme to get 7% off, will do one of the little ones nicely for Christmas (y)
Argos also have this for a tenner more if you've got some Argos vouchers or a flexecash gift card it could work out very nicely :D er
Has anyone got a code for this? Also, how does this compare to the Lenovo Duet?
I'll pm you
Would you have another code you could share please?
MKELBV64JU
Can I have a code too plz? Thanks!
How can I get Netflix to play full screen
It’s too slow and lags everything I shut an app, plus the camera is from 2004
Fair do's. Although I did have the Elephone p9000 for several years with no issues. Was very pleased with it. The glass on the p3000s before that was p to prone to break way too easily, but overall I became a "Chinese convert" for sheer value for money from years back now, We shall see how the alldocube fares...
I was using a genuine sandisk sd card and it just went corrupt after adding apps to it. I was sent a replacement under warranty.
Great answer, just couple of things I wanted to add - Android is much more customizable than Apple, you just need to know how, same for having less limitations compared to iPad.
I managed to get LTE version missing accessories for 144 and WiFi version like new for 152 on warehouse. Should I stick??
It's €189 from Amazon Germany which is about £165
I don't see it for £165 on Amazon.de, it's £185 for me. How do you get it for £165?
Already posted https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-a7-tablet-ps150-at-amazoncom-3597186 Also available from Amazon Germany for about £165 so this surely has to drop here

Can I ask if returns/cancellations work in the same way with amazon.de? **sorted**
how comes Americans get this for £150 ? https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/tablets/buy/?modelCode=SM-T500NZDEXAR&nrtv_cid=d587157d88730fb2196decb586e1dd085edeca80702220a9889a753ecb0aa5b9&cid=opmc-ecomm-nrtiv-tab-042720-142006-shanesymonds-4878088
Cheers from the ytube reviews, he did say it was a bit of a delay (1 sec) closing and opening apps or rotating for example, id guess the more you put on and have more apps running in background the more its going to slow. Maybe there is a app on the tablet to clear the ram or quick close all apps button. Not heard of that wallpaper flicker issue sounds almost hardware fault. I still like this tablet for its price/performance but it should be less then £185 everywhere and no ones really dropped the price properly on it.
I had the full m5 8.4" Model was SHT-W09. It has a higher rez screen, better cpu, more ram, screen responded better, fingerprint reader, better screen ... But it was two years old and had fallen off the Huawei support map. Still, managed to get it traded into CEX as mint condition.
Purely from a usage point of view what did u prefer about the mediapad. The m5 lite 10 is £160 from them direct so very tempted

Just bought it was in my basket from last night, thank you Mr_Diller.
Bummer :(
Out of stock
Think the S6 lite deal is a no brainer in all honesty ( I bought it this afternoon) and can't see it being cheaper, but everyone's budget is different.
A thing a lot of companies are holding back till black friday with offers (skeptical) (skeptical) (skeptical)

speakers are really good on it, great purchase
I took a long lunch break to play around with it a bit more and it looks good. Managed to get most my apps on it. The speaker on it is brilliant. Also I have an eBook which has lots of colour maps and illustrations which to date I have only been able to read on my desktop PC. I transferred the eBook over to the tablet and it looks great on it. Look forward to getting stuck into the book properly.
Glad to be of help, I thought it would be bigger and had to measure the screen as thought they had sent the wrong one (lol)
My tablet finally arrived today! Only 1 week and 1 day late! My local sorting office has had issues due to a COVID outbreak and online tracking suggested it had been in the Romford depot for over a week. I could not get any information out of Royal Mail about how long the delay would be which was frustrating as I didn't know if the delay would be days, weeks or even months. Initial thoughts on the tablet are very good. It looks like good build quality. It is smaller than I was expecting at first but I think it will work quite well. I expect to read a few eBooks on it so it should be good for that. Really pleased with purchase, a shame about the delivery delay but it wasn't that bad in the end and it sounds like exceptional circumstances. Thanks Mr_Driller.
Mine both arrived at same time, very nice both cover and tablet, great purchase, came next day with royal mail

£179 now. Is that a good price?
S6 lite in many ways is far superior and not much extra really in long run....I just bought son one (annoyed) My problem is now do I keep this A7 for my 11yr old home ed daughter ( she needs for learning apps) Or the Samsung Tab A 64gb/3gb ram that I managed to get yesterday......
This one or s6 lite? I would need lte version + s pen
If you have a BlueLight Card then you can get this for £179 direct from Samsung, but currently out of stock at the moment.
Dropped to 150 and included book cover

if you need it before 2nd lockdown better to pay the going rate of £219 and click and collect from Currys and the like
Not such a great deal as the delivery time is 1 to 2 MONTHS. Not sure if this is because of the 2nd lockdown in the UK but even so.......good spec tablet non the less
These are currently on offer in the USA for $169 wonder if there is a reduction heading our way..
What makes iPads a non option for me is no sd card slot for storing years of photos and videos. The cloud is not a good solution.
iPads are absolutely awful for watching films and video though with almost half the screen taken up with black bars because of the 4:3 screen ratio. Also, you can't sideload grey area apps to watch the latest films and TV shows and you can run game emulator's on this Samsung tablet. This tablet has only been out a short while here in the UK and reviews have been universally good especially for the price.

Looks as though this is still available.
Cheers pal.. (y)
I'd go with this tablet. The Amazon Fire 10 is also good when you sideload the Play store which is so easy and takes 2 mins. Last year's 10.1 by Samsung is decent if you get it £140 or under. Just my opinion of course
I have the 10.1 and it's still a decent tablet if you got it at a good price. Worth noting Samsung and Amazon produce the only tablets that are guaranteed to play Netflix in full HD and get regular updates. Samsung usually give you 2 android updates.
It was working on the silver and gold one last night... grey seems to not work anymore...

Thanks. (y)
Yes it does
Hi, have you tried Netflix and Prime apps. Does it supports Full HD?
I'm really pleased with it. Feels solid to hold. Runs quickly.
Will this be quicker than my old ipad air? I dont want another ipad, got two doorstops from them due to fotced upgrades as it is.

I got mine yesterday, seems to be a decent tablet. Really like the display and the face unlock is decent, would prefer a fingerprint sensor but it's nice to have something! The speakers are excellent, with 2 on each side (when in landscape), making great stereo sound. On the performance side of things, my only comparison is my phone, a pixel 3. On this front, it is definitely not as speedy when doing some intensive things (an example is Google maps), although 'not as speedy' pretty much translates to an extra 2 seconds before the app is ready to use. After it's ready, they perform the same. I don't really game on either so I can't comment on gaming performance I'm afraid, but if anyone really wants a game tested let me know and I perhaps could try it out! Overall, I'm happy for what I paid. The temptation to buy an iPad when looking at tablets is a strong one, but with this being £100 cheaper and having a much nicer screen-to-body (I know this sounds like not a big deal but it's what you notice evrytime you pick it up), I think I prefer this to an iPad. Hope this helps!
This is the only review I can find in English
Same here, still can't find no decent reviews, even YouTube have none in English... still no rush, I'm looking to buy for a Xmas gift,
Anyone get theirs yet?
Some people use cloud storage

Been eyeing this up this morning. For the people that hate the stats, what 4gb 64gb + 10" HD tablet around 200 would you recommend? Netflix/Prime HD and Google is a must
I was gonna buy a tablet but then thought instead I'll just get a writing tablet and hook it to my computer and save money
Be aware this tablet doesn't support the S Pen.
I'm looking at replacing my old s2 tablet, could anyone suggest one?
Was just about to point this out myself. You're not risking any fee's (paying foreign currency charge on credit cards) and no delivery delays with Argos so that makes more sense as it's even cheaper anyway.
Looking for a deal around 150 for a late February birthday so got a bit of time
Any other offers on this? Seems AO dropped the product. Only sale the cover now lol. Was gonna get the Huawei Mediapad T5 but being told to get this over the T5? But now it seems to be £200+?
Free book cover. https://ao.com/product/smt500nzaaeua-samsung-tablet-grey-79265-252.aspx code TABA7
looks like you might be able to use sd card. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-sm-t500-t505-galaxy-tab-a7-10-4-unlock-bootloader-root-with-magisk.4185993/
