Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch (PS4) £7.95 delivered at The Game Collection

Warhammer 40,000: Death-watch is a turn-based strategy game, set on the edge of Imperial space, where your Space Marines will take on the Tyranids in a series of tactical… Read more

This is basically a mobile game, right? I remember it was free on iOS and for some reason I didn’t grab it (fierce)

Looking at psn profiles there are many trophies no-one has ever unlocked? Possibly bugged? Actually that wouldn't surprise me as its the same on Space Hulk Ascension another Funbox Media game....which they promised to fix but never did....

Nope, you'll buy it like me because we are suckers (y)

Must admit I am a sucker for Warhammer games. Even the rubbish ones like Space Hulk Ascension. Currently playing Inquisitor Martyr. Can someone put me off buying this please?

Not a bad game but trophies are insanely time consuming and hard

Been getting back into 40k recently and decided I needed to beef up my collection with some titans so ended up pre-ordering 2 for cheap :p

Yep I know, meant 40k as the overall universe, although we have tried crossover games with titans which goes....well XD

If you've bought this for warhammer 40k, you may be in for a slightly unpleasant surprise 🙈

Not bad , do have a look round on sites like Zatu , Chaos cards and a few others they rotate deals .

Just so you know...Adeptus Titanicus is not 40K...it's more like Epic 40k

No clue what this is exactly. But it sounds brilliant.

Played this when i got my first PC lol... the box for the game was nearly the size of a PS4!!!! Good turn based game tbh... turn based games dont really age and it has sound mechanics and most units for each faction in there. But i agree if you download this from the bay its not gonna effect anyone.. its ancient

Wow there’s some crap on here.

This is the most confusing price I have ever seen (lol)

Great game to download and delete straight away. (lol)

Before GOG showed up, most of those games were for free to download as abandonware. Now you need to pay few quid for them. Definitely one free 20 years old game every couple of months won't change my mind about GOG.

I'd not bother with top tier but BTA is great for gothic and dow2, i own everything but herald of oblivion though. dow1 is dated but still fun - no idea why the expansions for either of those games aren't included as they add a huge amount of content and replayability.

Thanks a lot for this, which is the point overview I asked for without reading the full thread. I bought it because (justike you said) Bloodbowl looked like a decent purchase alone for the price.

Ignore the reviews, game has been totally reworked and is really fun now. Loved Dawn of War years ago and this definitely scratches that itch. Quite a deep rpg, bit like diabolo 3 but with bolters

Base game is only £5.24 is it worth it?

Yes it is I have the complete edition the extras are good

Is it worth to go for Complete Edition for £11.09 instead of Imperium?

Still play this regularly! IMO the best of the command and conquer type games.

DoW2 was different to DoW but was a great game, and the last stand mode was excellent. And DoW3... I’ve got nothing.

Definitely the best game of the series. It's a shame Dawn of War became a bit pants with DOW2 & DOW3.

It is playable without the base game, so not a bad pickup. Definitely the best version of DoW in my opinion

Its bugged right now... been over a month since they broke the game... still waiting on patch

I own WH1 as well, which I also haven't played yet ... Lol

if you own WH1 then it unlocks the mortal empire campaign in WH2, basically combines both games into one. That is the one I play, so owning both WH1 and WH2 you get a decent base to play, and some free DLC lords you can redeem as well. People basically recommend owning both for that reason, and then adding other DLC on top if you want to play as certain factions etc that those unlock. WH1 is on sale for £9.99 if you don't have it, so to get both is around £24. Can combine your cart to £30 to get the £5 off from the promo.

Is it worth doing warhammer 1 first?

I've picked up some of the DLC as I have been playing a bit and enjoying the game. Prophet and the Warlock for only a few £ is meant to be good if you don't want all of it.

I just went to the website added one to the card and on the next screen there was no free delivery option. The code is from FauxHammer.com

Orders over £50 at Alchemists Workshop are eligible for free shipping: "UK Free Shipping Free Shipping is eligible on all orders over £50.00 within the UK, except for The Orkney Islands and The Outer Hebrides, unfortunately, Royal Mail charges for delivery to these areas are almost the same as to the EU." Element Games has a similar postage policy, but their threshold is a bit higher: "Delivery is FREE for orders £80 and over..." Overall, it is cheaper to order this set from Alchemists Workshop for this particular item, taking into account all factors (discount, rewards, postage). Side note, Element Games does tend to reduce the discount by a few % after the first week or two, but Alchemist Workshop tends to stick with the 20+%. When prices are the same, I prefer to buy from Element Games, as I use the referral code scheme with a friend, and items generally arrive on the Saturday from Element Games (with a Friday release date), whereas Alchemists Workshop orders tend to arrive on the Monday. That said, I don't knock you for sharing your referral code here (smart move, tbh), I would just prefer you were upfront with people regarding the fact you also earn from people using your code. Nothing major, just a bit of transparency would be nice. :)

20% off is pretty standard for all Games Workshop products on sites like this. It's also this price on Goblin Gaming, just to name one.

I do want people to save money. At Alchemists workhop you have to pay £6.50postage on this so the total cost is actually £91.50. On Element, you get free postage so it's only £88 all in. Plus you get £1.76 back to spend on future stuff. so it's only really £86.24.

Isn't this just a unique referral code? Referral Scheme Earn Element Crystals (Store Credit) by referring friends & family. Give this code to friends & family and receive extra Element Crystals when they place orders. They receive DOUBLE Element Crystals too, so everyone wins! All they have to do is enter the code above at the end of the checkout stage. Should make it clear that you or the owner of this code will also benefit when people use it. Also, if you wanted to save people money you could have posted a link to Alchemist Workshop that have this for £85, which is a bigger direct saving. https://alchemistsworkshops.com/product/lumineth-realm-lords-army-set/
