Stupid sexy Winchester.
6/7mm hahahahah if your a diver?! A 6/7 would make you sweat and exhausted in UK waters at the surface. Standard UK weight is 3/2. Winter is 5/3. Above all of this, never buy a wetsuit from a supermarket or high street store. Go to a real water sports store, get advice from a real expert and get one that fits. I spent 7 years as a trained employee helping people buy safe wetsuits. Every summer i see countless people in massive baggy wetsuits, not to mention back to front examples too! These are dangerous and people drown. Blue Banana suits are as cheap as you get and are fine if they are correctly fitted and tight enough if you want to splash about at the beach. But if your a novice, be careful and try-on before you buy. Alternatively measure accurately then check https://store.magicseaweed.com/wetsuit-size-guide . Safety announcement / rant over.
I'd look great in this! Maximum emphisis on my beer gut!
Go to decathlon sports they have a great selection.
"WHERE'S MY SUPERSUIT?!"
A bit "Commander Shepard", so heat added.
Great add op got myself a sleeveless
nice deals but resellers have had them at this price pretty much all year. +6 months guarantee is a nice bonus though.
I appreciate your advice thanks v much (y)
I would recommend going in a surf shop and trying some on, a quality budget suit could be bought for £140 up to £400. I have had the same £140 suit for 2 years and is still going strong. Even if you don't buy you will know your size and brands
Probably going to start surfing myself next year. Seem to be a few other good deals for the better suits on there. Any recommendations re brands/types?
Only 3/2mm ok for summer but you'd need 5mm really. It also doesn't have reinforced knees if your a beginner surfer
It’s worth noting this has 25% off. I paid full whack the other week and still think it was a good deal
Can't find any sizes or colours at that price, the cheapest seems to be £16.90 Generally cheaper I think to order from their online store, though I think this item will probably be out of stock.
This I did not know. I'll be picking mine up tomorrow so do my best to remember to report back on it!
There was a grey on black for £32.99, and the red was originally at the same price, when I decided to buy it was at the £24. Not looked since I bought mine, maybe they put it back up/sold out?
Only seems to be available at £32.99 - nothing available at £24.
Agree - SD's tactic for years has been to buy reputable brands and then make stuff on the cheap using the brand name to tempt buyers at seemingly good prices for a good brand, except buyers are usually unaware that the quality they associated with the brand has gone.
maybe I've gone blind? What's the code? thanks.
I love the taste of salty water i prefer not to wear a mask .
Don't forget your snorkel and mask!
Does anyone know if council swimming baths would let you in wearing this. Need to practice before I go on holiday next month as will be swimming with sharks.
So.... Not suitable for Scotlands seaside, you all think? I have been swimming but its freaking baltic. When i checked its about 18-20C max.
Nice one, I’ve just ordered a couple of different things using above code with free next day delivery 📦. Hot 8)
Same price in asda/tesco.
<3 that cute shark design
£67.50 with code DHB01
You can also get some thin suits, like this: https://www.newitts.com/speedo-fastskin-xenon-thin-swim-full-sleeve-wetsuit-black-amparo-blue-siren-red
Not the watersport i had in mind but thanks for the feedback
Might well have TOO much buoyancy , then depends how deep you go i guess
Can this be used for freediving?
a 10mm wetsuit, you wouldnt be able to move?! gets smaller after use??? you'll never get a decent wetsuit from a supermarket or motorway services where they always seem to sell them.
good deal but im after a 4/3mm for the north sea
Gets smaller after use? Decent wetsuits from Aldi and Lidl? I think we are living on different planets.
British long johns (lol) (lol)
I would look out for sales, cheaper to buy in Australia or the states but there are good sales around here too, last year saw descent wetsuits at LIDL or was that ALDI. If you go in store you can always haggle. @xdavemarshallx several years ago I brought a really decent TWF 10/15 mixture suit, gave quite good arm and leg movement and kept me warm. Personally prefer a dry suit - it can get cold if you have ever dived in ice water/north sea. Also 10mm is when brand new, after the first use it gets smaller, my 10/15 suit is more like 6/10 mixture now I still feel this particular deal is cold especially for the price and what you are getting.
That's proper sinister looking 😳
Don't forget your facekini to go with it (lol) (Yes, it is actually a thing https://www.amazon.co.uk/Meijunter-Multicolor-Facekini-Seashore-Snorkeling/dp/B074563VPX/ (shock) )
Sweet baby Jesus and the orphans!! ...I remember being that thin ... (shock)
if hes a large ......
Blimey there's no meat on that lad.
What load of...m
Are these any good for serious swimming? Training for triathlon in a lake?
will these be instore too?
Same here... especially when I did the wee test to check if it holds the heat in.
They got really annoyed when I tried one on in store.....
Should be good for snorkelling. I see them as an investment. A good one should last you up to ten years depending on use and care. Mine (Orca) has lasted me 8 years and still going strong.
Ok, thanks, so probably quite good for snorkeling if you can afford one. I usually snorkel for an hour or so
If you try on a wetsuit for Triathlon you will find it is a big step above the standard ones for Waterskiing etc. With various thicknesses of neoprene, fit to prevent chaffing and coatings to help you glide through the water, these are purpose built for swimming. A standard thickness waterskiing wetsuit just doesn't come close. If you are swimming long distance outdoors throughout the tri season, a waterski wetsuit just won't keep you warm enough, unless you have enough body fat to keep you warm.
Wow, triathlons have really pushed up the price of wetsuits! Not so much for this one but the others... For general watersports snorkeling or waterskiing
Now that's funny!!!!
