[–]indiegIndieGala 159 points 1 year ago* Hi everyone, As you may all know, we experimented with G2A Pay since earlier this year and it is now over 24 hours ago that it has been removed as a credit card processor from IndieGala. An agreement we made with G2A solely for the benefit of our users was violated and we took immediate action to prevent anybody from becoming affected. For those of you who are unclear about the rationale and timeline involved in these decisions, we'd like to share a brief rundown. We opted for G2A Pay because of its competitive fees that would allow us to create even better game deals for our userbase. Our agreement with G2A was that their payment processor should work exactly as our former. The only exception was that they would bring in even more payment options on top of competitive fees. We made a public statement when users voiced their concern about the switch to G2A Pay. Of course, we meant every word. At the beginning, G2A reassured us that no mandatory or automatic registration to G2A Shield was on. Before going live we did tests and confirmed this. Thanks to feedback from a few users and the GameDeals mods, yesterday morning we discovered that G2A had switched G2A Shield registration to default to "ON" whereas initially it always defaulted to "OFF". When we discovered this we immediately removed G2A Pay as our payment processor and reverted to our former. TL;DR - We experimented with G2A Pay only for the benefit of our users and the possibility to create increasingly awesome deals for them. Once we discovered that our agreement had been violated and that it could harm our users, we eliminated it immediately. We have no plans of enabling G2A Pay again especially in the event that G2A does not clarify its position to us, and thus to our users, ensuring that malicious activity will never be encountered during transactions. This was a real betrayal of our efforts towards our community. We apologize to the few of you who may have been affected and please reach out to us for support if necessary. EDIT: Update We have spoken with G2A and have concluded on the G2A Shield auto opt-in incident. G2A reported that the whole problem was caused by an IT error – they were testing a new checkout and unfortunately there were some technical issues. G2A Shield was supposed to be disabled on this checkout as it was initially, but due to an error, it ended up being enabled. We want to assure all of you that NO ONE will be charged for G2A Shield. G2A is currently deactivating every Shield that was turned on in our store. Additionally, everyone who was affected by this issue will get a surprise game emailed to them as a small token of apology. This is a link to the G2A Pay's comment. Thanks, IndieGala Team
I got this last night from here and I can confirm that it includes all DLC available in Steam today including Shen's Last Gift, Alien Hunters or Anarchy's Children. I dont appear to have been signed up for G2A pay (at least not yet).
Wouldn't trust this site after it automatically signed customers up for G2A pay when they made a purchase. Dodgy at the least without letting people know. Be aware. reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/5x5rny/psa_check_your_email_to_see_if_you_were_signed_up/
Awesome! Love the daily challenge mode
IndieGala is £21.39. All pretty good prices compared to a few days ago.
It's about the third best price at the moment, as far as I can see.
No, it's a good price. Next comes a better price (flirt)
So it's not a good price? :/
It is a good price, but it's £21.59 at Fanatical with code SPRING10
It's listed at 40% off, which makes it £20.99, but then an extra discount gets applied when you add it to basket, because that's how GMG likes to do things these days, I guess. To add to the confusion, the hidden extra discount was higher for the first 24 hours, making it £15.75 yesterday, but now that that's over it's still available at £17.22.
Sold! Thanks mate...
They've got some promo going on today where it knocks some more off when you add it to your cart
That's an awesome price, but it's gone back up to £20 now?
£15.75 from gmg (highfive)
I want this game... but have soooo many other games higher up the "want" list, that I really can't justify it.
Nice 1 bought :D
Thank you (y) but I m looking for PC version. ;(
False. I got mine (ninja)
Nolonger at this price :(
Thanks for the heads up: I bagged one. ;)
£10 cheapest now for watch dogs
Excellent Awfully tempted by Xcom 2 and Sniper Elite 4
I know the feeling, I have collected way more games than I have played. A lot through Humble Bundle over past years. Im very good at starting games and then moving to the next. Back when I was younger and I could only afford one game a month was probably good, as I would finish them. Will grab the bundle for Wastelands for sure seen as though I saw it at £30
wasteland 2 is fantastic...... i have all the shadowrun games but not tried them yet, they are in my (very long) list of untouched games ;)
Indeed a good selection RPG's for sure , I have been playing Titan quest anniversary edition this evening , great game . I am tempted with the bottom tier of humble bundle due to the nice selection of RPG's for sure , I have wasteland already so I might just pass on the upper tiers.
Just got an email with this offer from Humble Bundle which is just in line as was looking earlier today at Wastelands 2 https://www.humblebundle.com/games/classics-return-bundle?hmb_source=humble_home&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=mosaic_section_1_layout_index_1_layout_type_twos_tile_index_2 Might even try my steam box that I bought around 8months ago and never opened yet.
I tend to play these types of games on PC , the controller support for Divinity enhanced and for Divinity 2 are excellent and rarely do I touch the keyboard when playing either of them , bag space seems unlimited for these 2 games though which is nice too , but , loot management can be a pain for sure , I even tend to hoard my upgrade points until I need to use them. I purchased Grim Dawn yesterday via GOG Russia for around £1.70 ish , great game , excellent action RPG for sure. WoW as sure was a classic , I have pondered going back from time to time , but a monthly sub does put me off , plus I imagine the game has not moved on massively in the past 6 years or so in terms of graphics and gameplay.
Thanks for this, bought it on friday after i found it here ;)
Nice one. I had £4 credit as well so £5.99 :)
ten pound for this game is a steal
Heat from me!
Will take it after payday. Im really tempted to play turn base strategy on console.
Got it on XBOX as dlc is going for about 12 at tesco
I bought the pc version the other day I’m sure if I should of got the Xbox one or not.
Ordered - thanks op!
Are the sever issues all sorted
I'm over 300 hours in on this, some cracking mods available.
I'll bite when it's bundled with War of The Chosen DLC for a decent price.
If my calculations are correct. 1 year, 11 months and 27 days :)
How quickly di pd this game drop in price, £44 down £7.99
Yep same here. Bit confusing though. Had to go to Manage game to start it downloading..never had to do that before.
Took 45 mins for my code to arrive. 42.44GB download.
I bought xcom 2, in the xmas sale on xbox, think the above dlc was £27 in the xbox sale. So very hot deal here. Just bought the dlc and the email says to wait for upto 1 hour before they will email you the code. 8 mins in and I am still waiting :D As for xcom 2, I was playing it on easy and basically everything I do has a timer on it. I wish I could switch of the timers. Even on easy I have had to reload save games.
Ordered. Loved the first (remake). Heat added
don't buy it.......I've lost days of my life over the last few weeks!! :o heat for price!
Great game but better off playing with War of the Choosen expansion. Also it doesn't work great on consoles, load times are a PITA later on.
That will be the hubby happy thank you
Don't forget the DLCs... ;)
That is a really tricky question. There are some parts the same and some parts different. I feel I have got a new game with wotc so I would complete the original and then later on after a break complete the expansion pack to get full value.
War Of The Chosen is much easier than LW2, I love both of them but I know some people don't like expansion (and still prefer to play LW2) You can go straight for War Of The Chosen (they kinda integrated it into vanilla storyline) but it is more difficult than vanilla.
I got 100 hours of great fun into the game, more to come (y)
Is War of the chosen different from vanilla ? Should I play vanilla first and then War of the chosen or go straight for War of the chosen?
No worries. Thanks for the reply :)
Not sure multiple titles either. Said sale items... Worth a try and don't pay unless price is right. Payment details required after codes added
Not sure if stackable. When I chose xcom 2 war of chosen and linking to my steam account and my email I had an option to enter gift code. Cannot remember if had an option to enter another one after entering first.
Does anyone know if this is stackable with the 17% off code on their site? Also, do you know if it is 25% off a whole order, or only applicable to one game?
Got assassin's creed origins with extra 25% off, early present for me
I completed and adored both. More mission variety in terms of level design and countdown missions mean more aggressive tactics needed than hunkering on some missions. Took over my life when had it. Bargain price
I'm only a little way in to playing it and I'm really impressed so far. The Xcom series has to be one of my favourites right from the very original UFO enemy unknown.
How much of a leap over the 'first' one is this?
This is a great price, however the DLC adds so much to the game so if you can I'd buy the deluxe edition plus the expansion War of the Chosen and play it like that, that's what I did recently and it was worth every penny. For £38 I got nearly 90 hours out of it, and after finishing it and seeing what all the DLC added I would have regretted not getting it.
Tried to click hot with an 80% chance of registering but all 3 three attempts missed. But it wouldn't be Xcom without it (y)
184 hours on Enemy Unknown and rising to 64 on this. Considering my attention span lasts about 3.2 seconds i'd say it was pretty addictive.
I think its overrated and in terms of a strategy and tactical fix xenonauts blows it into the weeds. However, its far Superior to its predecessor and actually really good fun. Well worth a tenner. Infact its worth a tenner just for the moment the most suprising alien turns up! (early in the game, it then gets silly with what feels like a random alien generator) I came across no bugs and the timed missions are fun once your squad is up to scratch.
Plenty of mods available to turn off mission timers if they don't suit your gameplay style. Easily worth ~£10.
Is it really that good? I am tempted to get it but I hear so many conflicting opinions on it, like the fact the timed missions ruin the game and the fact it's full of game-breaking bugs.
One of my favorite games of all times. Heat added. Hopefully dlc will drop in price.
can someone explain to me why the purchase site keeps saying fill all mandatory fields ...I dont have a house name or middle name
Yeah but I was browsing and ordered then decided to put a post together. (embarrassed)
There is more than one copy :D
Yes DLC is included and should be redeemable. I did order Dreamfall too before posting. (embarrassed)
Ordered Dreamfall Heat added Did post this 5muns ago then saw your thread and deleted mine. God Eater 2 Rage Burst will the DLC redeemable?
Heated bud, great find (y)
It's free to play this weekend if anyone wants to try before you buy
Great game, basically the same games at the first with bits added on. This one is much harder! Great price, too
Full game with res pack
Well the warrior pack is only £3.99 on live, i believe it comes with the full game.
