What is Home From Home?
With Home From Home you can use your phone in our 48 European Home From Home destinations just like you do at home. You can use your minutes, texts and data as normal, and if you run out, you just pay our standard rates as you would at home. All our customers can get Home From Home, on both pay monthly and pay as you go.
Is it any different on pay as you go?
No, it’s just the same as using your phone in the UK. When you’re in Home From Home destinations, your minutes, texts and data will come from your bundles, otherwise they’ll come off your balance (including your free credit from Triple Credit).
Where can I find out more while I'm away?
We’ll send you a welcome text whenever you arrive in a new country. This will include a link to the Home From Home page on our website. It’ll also remind you that you can call 280 free any time while you’re away for info.

Search in HUKD any Lyca offers. Get you 1 pound or less Sim. When it arrives, buy a new free e sim through their website. Activate physical sim with cheap plan, then on the Account Management on Lyca you will be able to transfer that Lyca physical sim to your also new and just "bought" esim.
You will have your main number and use Lyca for Roaming.
Moved off three to asda
Best decision
Doesn't sound so great when put like that? (Said as someone who has made good use of it, but saw domestic deals, such as Giffgaff, o2 & Three pay & go, useful to the poorest in society, those who can't afford to travel, get much more expensive!)
If they really "know how helpful it is to stay connected when abroad" they'd commit to no roaming charges ever
Luckily by then we will have sold our house and moved to the EU and have an EU mobile provider.
We'll see though. Once O2 proper falls I think all the others will ...
O2 the carrier for them, isn’t too special in my rural area, otherwise I’d be happy to change when my contract runs out. Good post and thanks
Does Tesco PAYG keep on credit for few months, unlike O2, that used up my few pounds for accidental data turning on...?
Thanks!
