Nothing reqd. Not sure if winter schedule, but for example, last time we went the elephants and giraffes were hand fed leaves and branches by the keepers and the setup is such that that hand them to the viewing public to also feed the animals as they are docile and basically you are at head height. Check their site and discussion groups. Just remember giraffes have really strong tongues and really grab the leaves out of your hand

There's plenty of promising books for the Kindle at 99p without wasting your money on this trash.

"I've never read anything so badly written that got published. It made 'Twilight' look like 'War and Peace.'" Sums it up really, though Salman Rushdie only read a few pages.

Grey is atrocious. I mean offensively bad.

I can only speak highly of the Toby's I have been in and they are great value as I get an additional 20% off food and drink being an AA Gold member. Staff have always been pleasant and helpful and food cooked very well, certainly not burnt. I mainly go to the one in Morecambe but obviously levels of service and food quality will vary from one to another.

Is it busy outside of school holidays? I would go 3rd week of Jan so imagine most European kids are back to school by then.2. How many days do you need to see more or less everything in the park, go on all the major rides etc?3. Any recommendations for on-site or close-to-site accommodation?

January is usually the quietest time to go, except for weekends but it can be very cold and wet. I have just got back from there last night and recommend a hotel called Hipark. I would say 4 days would be enough to see everything and I would take as many snacks with you as you can carry because food and drinks are expensive

For a general idea of how busy the parks are during the year this link is a pretty good Indicator Clicky. It is in French but the key is in order.

We have just returned from a 2 day visit in the Black ‘avoid’ days, stupidly busy on 27th but still magical. We are going to return at a quieter time this year.

The app is great and gives you real time queuing times for all the rides while in the park.

1. Not nearly as busy as school holidays.
2. You could rush round everything in a day, but we would recommend a minimum of 2 days.
3. New York is very close, as is the Newport Bay(really nice hotel with a swimming pool), only a 5minute walk to the eateries, and 10minute to the parks.

As an aside the Star Wars night show is superb!

It isn't that busy ourside school holidays. But it depends what you are used to.

At least 2! Plan strategically routes but also be flexible for short likes on a ride, liking the look of something you hadn't planned son trying out etc... A small rucksack is also a good buy and a rain poncho to be safe!
