For 1TB? You could probably get 2TB for that. Are they allowing SSD expansions from third parties?
I know it's crazy but they did state these prices will come down as they will allow others to also make the device so at least they will be in competition with others. I'll get the XSX myself just for the 1TB, probably store a couple games at a time, usually play one at a time anyway till I complete. I don't have to install so many games either now with Xcloud, doing those Gamepass rewards is so much quicker when you don't have to install most of the games.
Just install/uninstall the optimised games on the internal and keep all your bc games on an external SSD. 'Like a Dragon takes up 36GB and Dirt 5 comes in at 65GB' according to Engadget, and regardless of console the internal storage always takes a hit after OS.
Just a shame about the small storage space on all these new consoles and the insane prices for the proprietary expansions will make this new gen very costly (in terms of sort of hidden cost). Series S comes with a mere 512gb ssd (498gb usable at best) with the 'X' having 1TB, 1TB expansion set to cost £220 RRP that's almost the cost of the Series S
Highly doubt Ubisoft lol, but CD Projekt would be a great investment. Might have to grab an Xbox down the line.
