Possibly too late to save this deal, but £29.99 (with 100 uPlay points) would have been worth mentioning.

Ouch showing as £8.99 shipping . Ordered watch dogs 2 gold edition a couple months after it came out from them and took multiple emails and bout 2 months before it got sent . Also they send from Germany apparently so I’d be surprised if it is actually 1 day delivery like the checkout says. Either way heat as it’s the cheapest for this , just a heads up :D

LOVED this game since beta. its had it's issues lately but still growing player base. Console (PS4) seems to be getting low on decent players, everyone all sweaty these days and a lot less helpful when single-queing. When say decent - i don't mean pro-players - i mean people worth talking to.

gcmarcal

That is more time than I spent with my wife in 13 years!

copperspock

Squeakers? Curious. What platform do you play on? In my experience on PS4 they're few and far between. Even when I do get teamed up with kids I wouldn't automatically mute them, some of them have enough sense.

MrDealio

Don't worry, you won't have to, only people that tend to speak are squeakers and you can just troll them or vote them out of the match. Shame more people don't use mics though cos it's essential to communicate in this game, unless you're a mind reader?

If you sign up with psprices, they'll send you an email any time a tracked game drops in price. https://psprices.com/region-us/game/10372/the-last-of-ustm-remastered- You can also often get discounted US/Canadian PSN credit from PCGameSupply (I have a HUKD alert set up for 'pcgamesupply' for when their credit goes on sale). Their last offer was about a month ago so there's probably another one due soon.

Shigllgetcha

I dont see the point in getting this now before the content is out rather that just going for the gold version

Chasloyal

Ubisoft Store mailed me about an hour ago, my Father Edition is already on the move which is actually a very pleasant surprise as they are rather fond of shipping pre-orders late and yeah I know pre-ordering is wrong but I want to play this game day one! Don't want to put the mockers on it getting here a day or two early and I know it has to travel from Germany but it would be very nice if it did, would be double nice if the CE strategy guide I ordered from A Great Read shows up early too but I doubt it (skeptical) This deal is a decent enough price for the season pass I suppose and there is a lot more included in it than usual passes, even if it is on game FC3 was the best title in the franchise to date. That said I got bundles of credit on my MS account that I got nigh on half price so makes sense for me to buy it that way if/when I decide the time is right, heat nonetheless though (y)

yeboi

Yeah, they are literally milking you for additional content they could have included in the game on release, before its even released. I mean my god, Is this where the gaming industry is going? I kind of get bringing out DLC or additional content after a while and that costing additional, but I mean this is before its even released. With this and loot boxes, the industry is just going to milk us.

Driving was decent in FC3&4.

eiamhere69

I suspected years ago that the reason they bought the driver ip was specifically fir the coding (they can't get the physics and handling correct) it did imrove after that bought it (far cry games) but is still abysmal, reminds me of saints row. Ubisoft have clearly been tring to follow Rockstars model, Make a solid game in each genre, then tie them all up in one mega package. At times it looks like Far Cry 5 might be it. At least they appear to have stopped copying Activision with annual realeases and realised it was ultimately damaging them. I'm sure Far Cry 5 will be very good, I just can see it being 100% even in AC Origins they can't resist ballsing some things up.

OC3LOT

I think for £20 it's absolutely worth it. I was very skeptical about the game before i played it. And tbh, it's worth it for the multilayer alone, since getting the game I haven't even touched single player yet, just pumping hours into multilayer which has been very fun, and the community has been friendly, quite easy to find a squad to play with, communication helps majorly in matches.

alexwise

There’s something about Ubisoft can’t get driving right in absolutely any game they make. The only exception was Driver games especially San Fransico, they really nailed it there. But in every other game it always sucks

mentalken

I'm 50/50 on this game. The driving really is terrible! But the gameplay is pretty fun if you have a buddy to play co-op with. It makes the game a lot better. The missions are all pretty similar though. It does start to feel repetitive after a while.

I was just highlighting, not bleating.... You should be informed, and you've now shared your knowledge and left a greater legacy. Now delete this thread and post those games on Indonesia instead. (cheeky)

joeydeacon

Also before you keep bleating on about the Singapore Store, you might want to check your numbers as some games are technically cheaper on the Indonesia store. Where does this end though? I have 4 PSN accounts for this purpose as it is. Also, this is not the same sale as the Asia sale, and there is a heavier focus on Eastern games on the Asia sale.

joeydeacon

Depends on game and currency conversion at time of purchasing credit. Do some research before posting sweeping statements.

I may be biased since I love LEGO, Star Wars and work for Gamesplanet - but LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga is great fun for everyone (even playing with the kids). Star Wars KOTOR games are some of the best RPG games ever made, and the sequel works well on modern setups. Monkey Island games are fantastic point and click adventures. You also have the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Classic (2005) without loot boxes :D Should you need more info on another title give me a shout, played most of them. Except Anno games :(

Worth pointing out I ordered this a full week ago and it’s only due tonight. Not sure I’d order from there again due to the delivery time.

Spark

I agree that the Switch E-Shop is has a bit too much pixel-art indie filler on it atm and not enough decent 3rd party titles but I also think this is probably the only promising 3rd party exclusive on the platform.

reddragon105

Exactly - these '8bit' games that people are complaining about are not a new thing that's threatening to ruin the Switch; they're cross-platform indie games that have become a trend in the last 10 years or so, and I think they've come about for two main reasons. One is the nostalgia element, where people who grew up playing games that looked like that are now the ones making games and they're making them in the style of the games they loved as kids, and it turned out there was a huge demand for them either from gamers who are nostalgic for games that look like that or younger gamers who think it's cool to play retro style games or just don't care about graphics. The other is the advent of digital distribution - now that games can be easily sold online and downloaded they don't need to have big publishers behind them for publicity and distribution, which has enabled small teams and even solo developers to make games on lower budgets, but of course lower budgets mean less technically advanced graphics because game engines cost a lot of money to develop or license - so these days for every Final Fantasy XV that costs millions to develop and costs £40 on release there's an Undertale that cost maybe thousands to develop and is sold for £7. And, personally, I think it's great to see these kinds of games on the Switch - there are a lot of indie games I've bought on Steam over the last few years that I'm tempted to buy again on the Switch, despite the higher prices (it would be great to see a Switch Humble Bundle sometime!) simply because of the convenience of playing them on this lovely handheld console. I love being able to go from playing Zelda on the TV to Stardew Valley on the sofa - that's what the Switch is all about! For anyone who doesn't like that style of game, just ignore them. It's a turn-based tactical role-playing video game - not an uncommon genre. More like Worms or XCOM than your traditional platforming Mario game. Well games consoles still have CPUs so, yes, you can still 'measure' games consoles in bits. The Xbox One, PS4 and Switch all have 64 bit CPUs - but then so did the N64 20 years ago. It's just that since then CPUs have developed more in other aspects, such as clock speed and number of cores, and since 3D graphics came along they've had dedicated GPUs as well, which do more to determine how good their games can look. My 8 year old nephew has it and he says he loves it, but then I haven't actually seen him play it yet so I'm not sure he really gets it and I'm sure he won't appreciate it as much as an adult XCOM veteran. (nerd)

zoso1313

I wouldn't really recommend for a 7 year old. It's definitely a tactical RTS in a Mario skin.....
