That is shocking. Amazon has been becoming the new EBay. Don't know what sh*t will turn up. I am hoping to revive the plant by taking care. Anyone have any instructions on how to take care of these poor plants?

Ordered two, only one arrived! The one that did arrive was filthy, very neglected and looked like it was a previous customers that been returned. Have contacted amazon for a refund (mad)

Exactly the same experience londonlad19. I wasn't hoping for miracles, but I was very disappointed for what we paid. Fiver at the most is what it is worth. 1. Not more than 7 cm tall/wide 2. Soil is completely dry and all over the box 3. Most of the leaves are yellow. Anyone had a different delivery to londonlad19 and me?

Wouldn't bother, the one I ordered for a gift came today and it looks terrible. It's been trimmed within an inch of its life and soil is dry, leaves are turning yellow!

Not quite officer, a serial killer must have at least 3 victims - or are you suggesting I've murdered another innocent miniature tree? :/

Japanese Maple 13cm £3.47 at Homebase (Available in store only)

I went to Morrisons and they were £2.50 (y) 🏻 £8 for bigger £2.50 Japanese Acer in Morrisons

We have five Acres and found them easy to grow except the one called butterfly but with a little TLC and not to much sun it's now thriving!

They are actually 20-30cm and look really healthy. Some of them are slow growing.

Not sure I'd say they're a nightmare, but I'd certainly recommend buying a larger specimen. I love my Japanese Maples, but like many others I'm no expert. Larger specimens I've bought certainly have a better shape to those I've grown from small myself.

Noticed that on their website they are advertised at £2.97 so checked in store and although priced up at £3.47 they honoured the online price, hope this helps someone.

not sure why it's so cold - i looked at these the other day and £13 seemed a fair price so £7.50 appears to be really good! Alternatively go and buy some seeds from china for $0.48 Ali Express - the 28 day minimum postage might put a few people off though! X)

LED Tree Lamp - white / blue / red / purple - £15.95 from edjwilson (99.7% feedback) via eBay

A nice looking, low power and quite bright lamp. I bought one from a Garden Centre before Christmas for about double this price.

Funny comments are allowed though, pmsl

Ours have done the same. Think they hide them ready for when the tree goes down.

he (the cat) did the same but I can't find the picture, he still has baubles hidden around the house that he pinged out the tree

Hey! its 99p in 99p Store! Very cold deal!!!

Daniel son wouldn't have had to risked life and limb on a cliff edge if he bought this at Amazon! / ...but this has been the same price for a long time

Go to woods. Pick up a couple of saplings. Plant in pots. Look for how to grow bonsai on google. Follow instructions to the letter. Lose interest as they take so bleedin' long to grow Throw away dead plants that haven't been looked after properly after intial excitement wained. Free. Simple. Do it.

As others have said - a complete waste of money Pay a couple of quid more and get a ready grown one. The last Mod* I gave a cold vote to gave me a warning for it ... so I'll not vote on this one. *It wasn't Millarcat

Bringing this thread back from the dead.... is everyone happy with their trees then? Not sure if mine is even alive until the spring and then in the spring if it doesn't sprout, how am I going to know if it was me that killed it or if it was never alive in the first place?

Yeah I did. Sorry you didn't.

I didn't get the free flowers, did anyone else?
