Nice to see a fishing deal on here but you should be able to walk into a local fishing shop and buy a better (proper branded) combi kit for less. If people don't shop local, when all the fishing shops are closed down it's going to be hard to get bait. IMO telecasters have a terrible action and you',re probably not going to cast far on a 6ft rod (the £39.94 one shown), especially as the rod doesn't even have a casting weight rating. For beginners or children a nice 2 piece Shakespeare rod like a Shakespeare firebird will give an arguably better action, will last a lifetime (unlike a telecaster) and can be found for as little as £15 (such as from go outdoors). Admittedly the reel probably won't be as nice but for the money saved you could buy a Shimano one and keep the Shakespeare one as a spare for inevitable tangles or different line. Only my opinion.
