Thick formula, pretty good coverage

pink_elephant

.. Didn't get a freebie last week though! Apparently it adds to basket but didn't with me??

pink_elephant
Has anyone tried this? Any good?
Yes, bought the "fair" one last week. Its nice coverage but quite thick. I only wear liquid foundation when I'm going out somewhere when I do my 'full make up'. Day to day I wear very little so I wasn't sure if it felt think because I'm not used to wearing it every day (if you know what I mean) but overall defo worth the money. Wasn't orangey either. Hope that helps a little bit :-)

She accused me of having her comments removed from my freebie deal (Sunderland free air show) She was asking if Sunderland was in the uk or America, and did anyone actually live in Sunderland :|

jamie015

@SergioAgueroismine is a she. What did she say via PM?

nandito

Didn't notice he/she was suspended kudos1uk. Will probably blame me for that as well. :(

kudos1uk

As they are suspended I don't think they will explain anything anytime soon.

nandito

Why haven't you explained why you called me Donald. I'm assuming it's some kind of insult. You were very quick to pm me accusing me of having your comments removed from my post. If you had checked properly you would have seen that my posts had been removed as well. Obviously a mod thought our comments were not respecting the code of conduct.

Got mine - my niece (filled in the form for her) got hers on Saturday. It's a 1ml sachet. Haven't tried it yet! :)

Yeah, I wore mine through the evening and it lasted fine - me and heavy foundation don't get on well so I'm glad it's not thick - Makeupalley reviewers complained that this one rolls up/flakes if you're too heavy-handed. Seems it's a one-coat foundation. I'm not as oily as used to be, but definitely more on the acne-prone side than some, and it's hit and miss whether I break out, but I had no reactions either.

Rumana03

i tried shade 3 and it was pretty good. i mean normally after a few hours my skin would get oily but this seems to keep it matte. i usually use clinique beyond perfection liquid foundation. these will have saved me a lot of money.thanks!

louiselouise

I gave into temptation and cracked one of these jars open for myself - I'm always buying Pound makeup bargains for everyone except ME!! and the reviews intrigued me enough to want to try it out. I've never used a Whipped Foundation, the mousse-like texture put me off initially, and anticipated imminent foundation-disaster. That and I am pale-pale-pale complexioned, and thought it might leave that horrible "tide mark" at my jawline. I spread out (Shade #1) on the palm of my hand, applied to an already-moisturised face with my fingers, and couldn't see what I'd done till I'd put my glasses on again (very short sighted ;) )!! And, actually, it looks even, the shade is fine, not as beigey as I thought it would be. It's light coverage and brightens my skintone. Couldn't wish for more. I'll put my usual dusting of loose powder on top. The real litmus test is how it lasts after a few hours!!

Macy32

If anyone’s in Southampton, there were a number of foundations (mostly 4 but some 2 and 3) in both of the Poundlands in city centre. Some lipstick and mascara, tko

louiselouise

Yep. As with any online £1 shop, you need to spend a good half an hour searching but it's worth it :) ..from an email I got last night. Think it's this weekend only! ..and I forgot about the audio that plays when you go onto their Home Page. Boy oh boy is it irritating (I just hit Mute).

I'm replying because I can, chap. Perhaps you are a slow typer, but every response takes a few seconds out of my day I'm sorry to have to tell you. I said you can stop replying, but you seem so desperate to get the last word in. Have you run out of comments regarding the ill and disabled now? Perhaps buyers remorse has set in on the overpriced skin, hey? You seem a very angry person. Perhaps change your name to madeofglass, it would be more fitting as you are extremely sensitive. Don't be mad, just focus that energy into becoming a bit more mature. (popcorn)

I think it's better coverage actually. Can be layered up on problem areas, or made more sheer when you prefer. While ELDW is very good for long lasting 'colour' and even skin tone, I find this much better for general coverage of problem areas. Def try a sample before committing though - it's what the samples are for!

breezermoo

@Fixx is this as good for coverage as EL DW? I only use EL as it covers acne scars but also as it is oil free or I get break outs.

Bestbitter

Thanks, OP, and @ScottyMelotty for the image. My daughter loves these, and an excuse for another shopping trip!! (y)

fixx

Same - this is really nice. I've just bought my second bottle (used to use EL Double Wear, and various other things). This is much better. I'll definitely pick up a sample - always good to have a little more of it, and useful for travelling!
