Thanks, I missed the deal on AO with cashback a couple of months ago which was even cheaper than this, but I put my order in from Curry's yesterday so hopefully this will work out at £119 after cashback. I wanted a 42mm as the 46mm would just look comically big on me as I have slim wrists, and the GT3 42mm has the speaker/microphone with functionality to answer calls from it, unlike the GT2 42mm. (y) Should make a nice upgrade from my faithful Huawei Band 3 Pro which I've had for a few years.
Any deals on the GT RUNNER watch?
Can you pay contactless using the watch paired with an android phone??
This is the one I watched. This is also the 46mm which should last even longer? So I'm confused 😫 Sorry just realised this is the GT3 which is different (lol) (lol)
Do you get notifications from WhatsApp, Gmail and other apps on this watch if it is connected to an Android phone and companion app is installed on the phone? I'm wondering if the integration and notifications in particular are hampered by this not being full Wear OS? I'm not fussed about using apps on the phone itself but notifications are critical to me... Any information from existing owners appreciated!

Price has gone up :(
Can you answer calls with this? Also it's £210 - 50 makes it £160 - 60 cashback isn't that £100? Not £82.66
When Huawei isn't allowed to use Google services why are you surprised and say "still no android pay". Unless google miraculously relaxes its policy on Huawei as a company, dictated to them by the US Administration Android Pay is a pipe dream on current and future device from that company.
Ordered, thanks. Can't go wrong at £82.66. Wanted the brown one but at that price this will do.
Thanks, my bad, I noticed it.

Just the price :D (y)
Yes I think that would be the case
You'd be aiming for the GT3 Pro ;)
I reckon not, I own the GT2 pro and would swap to this but not if it has a scratchable crysal
Hi, Does anyone know if the crystal is sapphire, had a look but can't find any info on this?

Your welcome
should be delivery available.. just checked again
Hey @LordNaz thanks for sharing :)
Suddenly not available to delivery or anywhere near.

As far as I know, the watch just shows extra calories burnt from steps/exercise rather than calories burnt from living. The burnt calories were soley from a "workout" of "hiking". Admittedly, it was in 2 sessions. There's this very odd thing around smart watches where people don't complain if it burns more calories or logs more steps then they are meant to. I've had 3 types of smart watches. Cheap (mi band), middle (GT2) and expensive (Tic 3). And the best one for logging steps accurately during a day was the mi band I got for £20. The GT2 adds a few while driving/at desk but not too bad. Tictok 3 had me do 2 miles while playing call of duty and eating pizza!
Was that just for the walk, or was it your total base calorie for the day PLUS the activity calories ? Just guessing though, so please don't shoot me (that would burn too many calories anyway)
I would mention: be careful on the scales when added to the watch. I have a gt2 - however at my weight (I'm 14st 7) the calories burnt are ridiculous. A 10 mile walk was coming in at 2500kcals!!! I wish that was true. Ive had to tell the huawei app I'm 9 stone and now its closer to 800kcals. Which is more realistic.
Oh nice, do you have a link by any chance, as that's mainly what I use mine for. Is it a g shock? as I'm not a fan of those, I prefer the edifice models If it's a edifice, I'd be interested
This one or GT 2 pro? Seems like similar prices on AO after cash back.

*Update* I returned it. I liked it but couldn't get used to the watch face. I now realise that I prefer actual watches and not these flat unrealistic LCD type displays. I was 1 day over the last return date but they allowed the return after I phoned them. Sorry Switchy, I have failed :(
Sorry guys. I downloaded Huawei app already but I can't add my watch to app. What I need to do?
Bought one and it arrived today. Doesn't hold a charge, wont power on when disconnected from charger. Shame as it's a nice looking watch. Will be returning it.
Does it have a mic ?
Cheers, 7 available

Awful deal. This was 109 after cashback just days ago...
Wow that watxh4 battery is less than a day
I take my watch off at night, so just need to setup a charger where I put it. The days battery life will annoy me though. Compared to my ecowave citizen which has about 6months battery after an hour in sunlight :(. But I'm literally only buying a smart watch to monitor my heart after current health woes.
Ah, fair enough, I was intrigued by the ECG feature being a nurse but in the end decided I probably would not make much use of it. I like the features of the galaxy 4 watch, but I don't think I could live with realistically a days battery life.
I ended up cancelling and getting an open-box Samsung galaxy 4g 40mm for 199£ on Amazon. I've super small wrists, always end up putting 2-3 extra holes in straps. 199£ for 4g is nice though, 7£ a month for the phone contract sucks though. I very much need ECG and GT3 doesn't have it l, thought it did :(.

GT2 pro only real advantage is it can make calls without a phone. But this requires a monthly fee to his phone supplier. GT3 is a newer device, it will still get texts/calls but will need his phone close by. Honestly unless he has asked for a huawei smart watch you might be best asking him, surprises are nice but if he doesn't want an Huawei it could be useless. These devices often pair better with specific phone makes. Will work with any, but not optimally.
Hi. I am a novice with these devices and looking for an 18th birthday present for my nephew. is this a good deal? The GT2 Pro Deal is on fire! Which is better? Any help really appreciated!
Was about to post this, google gave me the A2YBD50 code and worked fine. Thanks.
My code just came through thanks for posting :)

I'm unable to get the same deal, comes up as £296 (watch, earphones, 4e band and free tracker).... Thats with voucher applied
Is it compatible with iPhones?
Will this connect with a Samsung phone?
Yeah you do that!
I kinda agree, but for some activities like swimming I'd prefer to wear the band

Well, depends on your wrist size. For me the 46mm, no question. Re the watch 3, nice but I'm not a fan of the rounded glass. I like the angular look of the gt3. It really is a matter of preference. All huawei watches are great and the new harmony os is a dream and pretty reliable and accurate. Throw in 2 week battery life and its a no brainer.
46mm or 42mm Gt3? Thoughts on watch 3?
Agree, the GT3 is a bit more 'angular' but I prefer that. Looks more masculine imo and with the brown leather strap...omg, I'm getting that feeling again like I want one. (lol) (lol) (lol) (lol)
I just think the gt3 looks a bit chunkier than the amazfit so wasn't sure how it would look. I had the original Huawei w1 smart watch years ago and did like it.
Gt2 pro, fab, got one and no issues at all. Amazfit is a nice watch but the software can be a bit glitchy. Gt3...piece of beauty. If you can afford it, do it. Developers will have made loads of faces optimised for the GT3 real soon. Seriously, if you get the GT3, you will just fall in love immediately!

Whats the difference then? Delivery now not free?
Was £49.99....
Be a hard sell this when it was literally £49.99 an hour ago

looking for a tracker or smart watch that is a good productivity tool. doesn't need to be anything fancy, just need it send notificaitns and reminder for task from a to do list, general alarm to keep you mindful of time with notificaitns. is there any watch that can also do the above with sound added to the vibrations, I guess you would need Alexa or Google assistant enabled on the watch ? what are you guys using on a budget under 150? pair with Android phone ?
I've ordered these, just in case.
Good to know, thanks :)
You don't need one. I don't use one. It has gorilla glass or some form of it on the screen. I have had mine for several months now and not a scratch
Any recommendations for a screen protector? Thanks

price gone up now? advice on how to get lower price anyone?
Fantastic watch after being used to an apple watch for the last 3 years this is very nice. Battery life is amazing! However, there appears to be no way of syncing activities with Strava if you are using an Iphone. Lots of guidance online using 'Health Sync' which only seems to be avaialble for android. This is a deal breaker for me, the native health app is great but Strava is where its at for me. Does anybody know a way around this? Considering sending back which is a great shame as the watch is amazing!
I ordered on Sunday night & got mine Tues afternoon.
Ordered on Monday and still nothing from Huawei. Just confirmation and that's all.
How does this compare to a Garmin at a similar price?

They have a few for sale. That was there when I posted this deal.
relisted at £60.44 with the code
Cheers bud
Oos now @MrSwitch
Not for me, but a decent price - only 3 left though

Thanks :)
5%
How much is a unidays discount? Forces discount is 5%
Unidays code anyone please?
£170.99 with UNiDAYS code.

There's no function to the bezel. Believe the 46mm has numerical bezel and nothing on 42mm.
Is the bezel/dial on these digital or physical? Some images have no numerical bezel markers and others do.
Cheers vinny been almost ordered last week (y) (y) (y) 🎅🎅🎅🎅
NFC is not supported! Great watch, though.

Unable to connect the watch to a Redmi Note 8
Received the watch today and connected to iPhone, issue is music cannot be loaded on to the watch (GT 2e) if you use iPhone. consumer.huawei.com/uk/…12/ spoke to huawei online chatsupport they confirmed I have to use a android phone to load music and then connect back to iPhone. From support- In the link there is also a step for iOS phones. This one below: * If you need to use an iOS phone, connect your watch to an Android phone first, add the music to your watch, and then connect your watch to the iOS phone to use the music feature. In this case, you can only use Control mode to control the music on the watch, but you won't be able to control the music on the iOS phone. now weighing whether to keep the watch for the health features or return it coz of issues with playing music!
Back In stock but code doesn’t work anymore
I would say yes, too big - it is probably too big for some men. even though it is light weight on a smaller wrist it could be more susceptible to damage and likely to slip around his wrist.. Great watch though (y)
Would this be too big for a 10 year old? I'm assuming so ..

YOu can store music on it but you would have to listen to it with Bluetooth headphones. You also can't get Spotify or similar on it
So just notification sound, no music?
GT2e doesn’t have a built in speaker. Not sure there are many other differences. Slightly different visually too
What's the difference between this and normal GT please
Sweet 😁👌

Bought one of these last week for £54.99 using the HUKD code. Upgraded from an Amazfit Stratos 2 that I bought a year ago for a similar price and the GT2e is superior in every department and is a superb watch. The only problem I have had is that my Bluetooth earbuds won't automatically reconnect to the watch after being turned off, not sure if this is a fault, a software feature that will be fixed in an update or if it's meant to do that for some reason. The screen is super bright, the battery lasts for ever and can add around 10% charge in around 10 minutes so ideal for top up charging when in the shower. The HRM and GPS are giving me more or less identical results to those I got from my stratos. It can be a bit of a faff to setup if you're not a Huawei phone user, I've got a Samsung and have had to add a load of Huawei apps to my phone to get it setup and updated. If anybody can come back to me on their experiences with Bluetooth earbuds and connectivity I'd be grateful.
Great smartwatch for the price. As an active hiker it has been brilliant and syncs with the app flawlessly. I have everything on, so the battery life last about a week, but on standby it will last up to 14 days. If you are used to a band then the 46mm will appear huge on your wrist initially. An amazing range of watch faces to choose from via the app.
Only thing I miss is the GT2 speaker, not for calls, but for audio notifications as I seem to miss some with the GT2e as it's not the best vibrations, unless your sitting in a quiet room.
You get speaker to answer calls…can listen to music from the watch also…
What's the main difference's between the gt2 and GT2e?
Is this not the price of the silicon strap? The titanium one seems to be £430
How do you get music (MP3's) onto this to use the earbuds?
You should have done your research before, and if it didn't have features you thought it did then you could have got your money back. Imagine having to reach into your pocket and swipe a credit card a couple of times a day its hardly "The road to Wigan pier" is it?
@AM700 TBF I haven't looked at the situation in the last year. Seems things have changed https://www.reddit.com/r/hwatch/comments/mds7ee/huawei_health_now_can_sync_to_strava_googlefit/ (also have a venu2)
I was wondering how this one compares with my garmin venu 2. I'll stick with garmin then as it has the above mentioned support.
