Thanks! Great price for a very decent bourbon!

I picked up a bottle of this for £13.75 a month or so back (y)

"Guys, we need to transfer this Jim Beam to another barrel, cos it's leaking, I know, we'll call it double Oak and double the price, boom!"

Tesco Havant has the Bulleit Rye for ~ £15, I picked up two bottles on Friday. I'm guessing some stores are changing their range as the regular Bulleit was not reduced in that store...

More excited for the Bulleit

If you like Clarke's you really need to try Lidl's 6 year old bourbon at £15.49 a bottle it is fantastic value for money and at least £10 cheaper than anything close to it money wise.

The Guardian did a test of the best bourbon’s in the world a few years ago, and some of these whiskies are very expensive, BUT, Clarke’s was ranked right up there with the best of them!!! The only thing is I think it’s imported in bulk and then bottled (I think) in Germany. Regardless of this it’s an outstanding bargain at a regular price of under 12 quid a bottle!!!!

Each to their own I guess, but I think JD is a really nice Whiskey and I just drink it on the rocks! Jim Beam is still a very nice drink though and at this price it’s worth stocking up

Gonna be honest, Clarke's from Aldi tastes identical to Jim Beam if not better.

Aldi do a bourbon similar to this and i’ll tell you what its pretty good too https://www.aldi.co.uk/clarke%27s-bourbon-whiskey/p/063794237384101 £11.99 all day every day :)

Thats a really good point actually! Would love to try some of the proper stuff!

Nearly jumped out of my seat then. Thought it was the 'Black Label' Extra Aged (My personal favorite). Anyone know how this compares?

This is certainly true. But it's priced as mass produced pap to be fair. Once dezbo8888 starts delivering to my postcode then I'll be sorted. ;)

Of course they can, I never said I had a problem with it, I simply said I didn’t understand it, ironically just like you said you couldn’t understand me in your comment. They can mix it with Tizer for all I care

People can do what they like, each to there own, I don’t understand why you would worry what another person decides to mix with there drink (lol)

This has been on 'sale' at my local Sainsburys for several weeks now - priced at £11.25 a bottle. Obviously I bought several.

Because the two flavours complement each other so well, that's why.

Tried these yesterday , oily non-flavoured , certainly no discernable flavour. Could have just been ready salted or whatever.

Do they still make ringos? I used to love them :D

Probably because it’s quite frequently this price, I’ve had it cheaper from amazon in the past, £18 seems to be the usual price

Let's have a boozy doo. Great price,but can't give booze t' baby.

Not sure why this is voted so cold but maybe it's cheaper elsewhere or it's a repost and I've not noticed (I always do a quick HUKD search engine check before I post a Deal) :(

Just to update - it was the 70cl/40% Pre-Prohibition version I got.

I did my best to read up on these but must have missed that one about the Black Label Amazon Special (I make a point of searching HUKD for each item I post - sometimes search terms let me down). I had Amazon Credit and have already ordered the Pre-Prohibition version - curious to see what will arrive. The reviews on Amazon are a bit weird. Most seem to get the Pre-Prohibition bottle (and have pictures to show this) but this one's a bit worrying!

A previous "Deal" when it was £17.99 (at the end of January): [ https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/jim-beam-black-label-70-cl-exclusive-to-amazon-prime-1799-2885765 ] It also dropped to £17.99 again at the beginning of May, so you may wish to wait for a return to this price in the future (it that happens).

The bottle I bought in January was definitely 40%.
