Either that's sarcasm or I think someone has been spending too much time on social media sites. The movie is openly constantly satirising the excesive bureaucracy and inability of the Japanese government to deal with a situation like the one in the film. The people that actually figure out how to fight the monsters are a bunch of young outcasts and nerds. I guess for some people the movie is not as "woke" as Michael Bay's Transformers or Marvel/Disney movies

Not the greatest Godzilla movie but still watchable. The action scenes were good but the bits with government officials and army generals discussing things were as long and boring as Theresa Mays Brexit meetings. The classic old school Godzilla movies were the best! Would also recommend all Godzilla fans to watch the Netflix animated Godzilla movies. Really well done with a good story attached. Third and final part is out this month.

Pretty much You have to be fully focused on the film, because the subtitles need to be read kind of quick.

Excellent, and funny, film. Heat

This is my favourite Godzilla film. Heads up, there are a LOT of subtitles to read in this film.

RWBY “Official Manga Anthology” 1: Red Like Roses (£2.53 w/ prime student) @ Amazon (£2.99 delivery non-prime)

You should say about the anime series they have of it :) it’s all on YouTube :D (well minus the new series of it which will be on their website instead)

Just to say RWBY was a big hit with my niece (y) Her cousin is a few years older and had been talking about RWBY to her the day before, which was a weird coincidence (her mum just told me). I've told her if she's good I'll get her the other volumes. Thanks again!

You/her can always check out RWBY on YouTube :) all 5 volumes are available on YouTube. The only reason for the 12 rating really is violence, which isn’t too graphic (no blood is shown) but can be seen as kind of disturbing.

Just noticed the RWBY Blu-Rays are rated 12, so I'd assume this graphic novel will be okay for my niece. (y) The price has been going down in 1p increments throughout the day. Edit: Thanks very much - bought at £2.81 and the price went up by about 50p not long after. I'll tell her to seek out the Youtube volumes if she enjoys this graphic novel :D

Yeah just updated it before you said that :) I’m only able to look at the price during my break at work most of today and tomorrow so I’m a bit slow at updating it :)

Cheapest I've seen for this game. Looks like a good one if you're a fan of the Yakuza series (Kiryu skin DLC arriving for free too!)

It’s a genre so read or watch 😝

what does that have to do with anything lol

That was a sudden change of topic. :D

God Hand... Now that's a game that I have not heard in a while. You know, I watched The Warriors the other day. That movie about the street gangs of NY. When there was still a semblance of "old world" values, and when people didn't resort to ignoring their real world friends for whatever they would be doing on their smartphones and the internet. It's interesting how drastically things have changed with the advent of the smartphone. 10 years. And just look at the the social and economic upheavals that we have experienced since...

I actually downloaded the demo last week but haven't tried it yet. Still clueless about it, but I think it fits for Yakuza/God hand fans. P.S it seems to be £39.95 from TGC. Base is cheaper:

Hahaha! Thanks for that, I’d already rushed off and found it. I shall watch it over the weekend. Really impressed it’s online and streaming for free. I thought I was going to have to wait for it on Netflix or have a look at Crunchyroll or similar. ^_^

OMG! I’m now officially old, I didn’t realise there was more, after the massive battle and the coffee shop burning down I thought that was the end. Now I’m going to have to find Season 3. O.O

Series 3 has just finished. Series 4 starts around October.

Such a weird anime, I wasn’t sure I liked it but still watched both seasons and cried at the end. At leats this isn’t a terrible American remake... Poor Deathnote. O.o

It just means that you can access from any device, whenever you want. It'd be nice if it remembered where you were at within a book (as it does for shows / movies) but it's a small sacrifice for the flexibility (y) Create folders for each comic / book and then browse by folder in Plex. I created a seperate photo library in Plex for comics - that way, they don't get messed up with your regular photo stream.

Nice sounds like the answer for me. Hardly use my Plex system with sky and a 2 year old and all the blooming cartoons going on.

Does it have the old Manga films on?

Thanks for the recommendations. I got a bit overwhelmed with too much choice on crunchy roll

Its a new anime streaming service, similar to Crunchyroll & Funimcation. But has an account setup similar to Netflix (Mulitple users on 1 account). Its really good if you prefer dubs of anime as it has quite a bit, it also has a decent amount of simulcast shows & general subbed shows which are great! Some reccomendations i would give: Made In Abyss (Adventure, Subbed), Chihayafuru (Competitive Card Game, Slice of Life, Dub & Sub), Haikyuu (Sports, Dub & Sub), Monthy Girls Nozaki-kun (Slice-Of-Life, Dub & Sub), From The New World (Psychological, supernatural, Drama, Dub & Sub) & No game No Life (Fantasy Adventure Comedy, Dub & Sub). I personally like the service! ^^

I liked it. It could've been a hell of a lot worst. Enjoy it for what it is.

Hey Dude, I've voted hot - it's a good deal for these... But be prepared to be really disappointed. No spoilers, but they go in a different direction with the plot, and it's very poor. It's a shame, because I actually think they did a great job of the effects and stuff (I like how it's not just all CGI).

Paid £9.99 for this from Waterstones a few weeks back. Wish I had seen this price now!

Sorry my mistake, I was told it was a manga series by someone and I didn’t know what it meant as I’ve never watched any others before

Didn't even realise that this was actually a manga!? I've only been watching the anime by RT. I've always thought it was created by Monty...

Yeah. I absolutely love it and I’ve only watched one season so far (binge-watched on Saturday, I had watched random episodes/chapters before). For the first season the episodes/ chapters are quite short but by season 5 they’re at least double the length (I think). It also has a game. Apparently it’s got mixed reviews but I personally love it (though it has been pretty much abandoned by RT and is best played multiplayer). Also, the soundtrack is AMAZING. I didn’t like it much at first but now I absolutely love it. The main vocalist is Casey Lee Williams and the songs are mostly alternative-rock.

You might as well anyway since its free to watch. Edit: Whats this like compared to the show?

Heat added; has anyone seen the Anime series? It's on my 'might get round to watching' list. Is it worth watching?

I finished the first volume in one sitting... It's a very good read. It's weird how you have to read it from right to left but that's part of the appeal I guess! It can also be harder to see what is going on being in black and white (as opposed to full colour as you see with most comics nowadays), but not a huge problem. Overall, very impressed, intriguing story. I'm going to pick up Vol 2 & 3 now

Heat for the price of this item. However, just done a quick calculation including Vol 2 - Vol 14, using Amazon paperback prices, and the total cost for the range would be £93.25 - ouch! Would quite like to read this & circa 224 pages per issue is very good, but that's a hefty price

Cool, thanks. I think I'm going to pick up issues 1 & 2 and see how I get on. Funnily enough I picked these up in store yesterday afternoon as they caught my eye... but they was full price. So this deal came at a great time :D

RE is set after Tokyo Ghoul; think of it as Tokyo Ghoul is part 1 and Tokyo Ghoul Re is part 2 Tokyo Ghoul has 14 volumes Re is still ongoing and at 16 volumes at present The Anime is very good too. It is different to the manga and that winds some people up but I really like them. I'm currently watching Tokyo Ghoul Re which started a few weeks ago.

And volume 2 is the same price. As someone who has never read these before, what's the difference between volume 1 and re volume 1? Where is the best place to start
