Voted hot as I love DBz lol

Hahaha! Thanks for that, I’d already rushed off and found it. I shall watch it over the weekend. Really impressed it’s online and streaming for free. I thought I was going to have to wait for it on Netflix or have a look at Crunchyroll or similar. ^_^
OMG! I’m now officially old, I didn’t realise there was more, after the massive battle and the coffee shop burning down I thought that was the end. Now I’m going to have to find Season 3. O.O
Series 3 has just finished. Series 4 starts around October.
Such a weird anime, I wasn’t sure I liked it but still watched both seasons and cried at the end. At leats this isn’t a terrible American remake... Poor Deathnote. O.o
It just means that you can access from any device, whenever you want. It'd be nice if it remembered where you were at within a book (as it does for shows / movies) but it's a small sacrifice for the flexibility (y) Create folders for each comic / book and then browse by folder in Plex. I created a seperate photo library in Plex for comics - that way, they don't get messed up with your regular photo stream.
Nice sounds like the answer for me. Hardly use my Plex system with sky and a 2 year old and all the blooming cartoons going on.
Does it have the old Manga films on?
Thanks for the recommendations. I got a bit overwhelmed with too much choice on crunchy roll
Its a new anime streaming service, similar to Crunchyroll & Funimcation. But has an account setup similar to Netflix (Mulitple users on 1 account). Its really good if you prefer dubs of anime as it has quite a bit, it also has a decent amount of simulcast shows & general subbed shows which are great! Some reccomendations i would give: Made In Abyss (Adventure, Subbed), Chihayafuru (Competitive Card Game, Slice of Life, Dub & Sub), Haikyuu (Sports, Dub & Sub), Monthy Girls Nozaki-kun (Slice-Of-Life, Dub & Sub), From The New World (Psychological, supernatural, Drama, Dub & Sub) & No game No Life (Fantasy Adventure Comedy, Dub & Sub). I personally like the service! ^^
Bwah haw hah.
Do we really need to see his pubic hair?
Yeahhh... Definitely NSFW (refer to image 3 on Amazon). Here was me thinking HUKD was a "family friendly" site.
Thanks for that
I haven’t seen the movies but I gave up half way through season 2. Just got too weird.
Good deal makes me wanna bite my hand
My son won a cosplay comp' as Armin Arlert so I guess he'll like this deal...heat..
I liked it. It could've been a hell of a lot worst. Enjoy it for what it is.
Hey Dude, I've voted hot - it's a good deal for these... But be prepared to be really disappointed. No spoilers, but they go in a different direction with the plot, and it's very poor. It's a shame, because I actually think they did a great job of the effects and stuff (I like how it's not just all CGI).
Sorry my mistake, I was told it was a manga series by someone and I didn’t know what it meant as I’ve never watched any others before
Didn't even realise that this was actually a manga!? I've only been watching the anime by RT. I've always thought it was created by Monty...
Yeah. I absolutely love it and I’ve only watched one season so far (binge-watched on Saturday, I had watched random episodes/chapters before). For the first season the episodes/ chapters are quite short but by season 5 they’re at least double the length (I think). It also has a game. Apparently it’s got mixed reviews but I personally love it (though it has been pretty much abandoned by RT and is best played multiplayer). Also, the soundtrack is AMAZING. I didn’t like it much at first but now I absolutely love it. The main vocalist is Casey Lee Williams and the songs are mostly alternative-rock.
You might as well anyway since its free to watch. Edit: Whats this like compared to the show?
Heat added; has anyone seen the Anime series? It's on my 'might get round to watching' list. Is it worth watching?
Awesome thanks op :D
And it looks as if this time all the books are available for the Kindle via Amazon
sadly only the first volume is cheap of all that mangas. they try to get you with that.
Woah. That 'Fairy Tail' has a fair number of volumes. (excited)
I finished the first volume in one sitting... It's a very good read. It's weird how you have to read it from right to left but that's part of the appeal I guess! It can also be harder to see what is going on being in black and white (as opposed to full colour as you see with most comics nowadays), but not a huge problem. Overall, very impressed, intriguing story. I'm going to pick up Vol 2 & 3 now
Heat for the price of this item. However, just done a quick calculation including Vol 2 - Vol 14, using Amazon paperback prices, and the total cost for the range would be £93.25 - ouch! Would quite like to read this & circa 224 pages per issue is very good, but that's a hefty price
Cool, thanks. I think I'm going to pick up issues 1 & 2 and see how I get on. Funnily enough I picked these up in store yesterday afternoon as they caught my eye... but they was full price. So this deal came at a great time :D
RE is set after Tokyo Ghoul; think of it as Tokyo Ghoul is part 1 and Tokyo Ghoul Re is part 2 Tokyo Ghoul has 14 volumes Re is still ongoing and at 16 volumes at present The Anime is very good too. It is different to the manga and that winds some people up but I really like them. I'm currently watching Tokyo Ghoul Re which started a few weeks ago.
And volume 2 is the same price. As someone who has never read these before, what's the difference between volume 1 and re volume 1? Where is the best place to start
Thanks, good photos. Looks like it's sold out now anyway, so that'll save me from myself 😞
Sorry for delay - here you go. Hope it helps.
Any chance of you posting some photos of the real thing? Zavvi's shabbily mocked up images aren't helping sell it to me.
I got mine yesterday, so the 'release date'. Looks beautiful:) Hope you got yours as well!
I'm actually not in the UK at the moment so I sent it to a relative. I hope it arrives when someone is home or I'm just quietly going to cry if it gets lost.
Haha no problem, I probably should have made it clearer in my initial post. But yeah, this is the full story (y)
In a stange turn of events. I have now bought this, after voting cold. Just goes to show how little I know. FOR THE RECORD I WISH TO TAKE BACK MY VOTE KTHX.
Ah I see, thank you. Would you recommend this over the normal 12/13 book collectors set?
These Black Editions are kind of like the 3in1's or omnibuses that Shonen Jump and Kadokawa make. So in one book you are getting two books so to speak. Also the black editions are slightly bigger then usual manga the edges of the pages are outlined in black. If you already have the original 1-12 set, then this is pointless. But if you haven't read Death Note and want to avoid reading it online through sites like Mangafox then its just another way to do so.
Seems about £40 most places for the full 13 book collection with box. This is for 6 books and not even half price so seems expensive. Voted cold. Maybe somebody can point out if I've made a mistake, but doesn't seem a good deal?
I thought the anime was utter rubbish
Please note the manga is pretty bad, difficult to follow.
seems a good price, I did enjoy the anime but I've never really got into manga. I like my comics in colour. first volume can be read for free if you have amazon prime https://www.amazon.co.uk/Attack-Titan-Vol-Hajime-Isayama-ebook/dp/B00CCOO1HA
Great deal, would buy but ive already got the physical ones.
Same here! I did wanna collect more physical copies but I'm running out of space! Also be great to just read on my phone!
I don't think so.
Is the pre-order on Amazon yet?
Upload it to the bay for me please.... ;)
I've seen hero academia, quite good. I'll look into the other two.
3 my faves are my hero academia / toradora... And chobits
without sounding like an anorak. the film is only half of the manga comic series. but tbh this is the better half.
Classic Anime - heat added 8)
imo at this price get it and listen to both or go original japanese track + subs. Not sure which dub they would have used tbh.
I caught this on the Syfy channel when it was aired not so long ago, which dub version did I most likely get? I wasn't so keen on the dub, would always much prefer subs.
Great value, have some heat Horace
The ring of Nibelung issue 1 looks interesting. 287 pages of a manga version of the northern european classic https://www.comixology.co.uk/The-Ring-of-The-Nibelung-Vol-1/digital-comic/592841?ref=c2l0ZS9saXN0L3RhYmxldC9ncmlkTGlzdC9mcmVlQ29taWNzTGlzdDIxMzMz Cheers OP
Just have to pop in my two cents here - The Works are quite notorious for these 'how to draw Manga' books, and for younger audiences I'm sure they're fine. However, I must warn the parents of teens who are more heavily into the genre that these sets might not exactly be received with immense gratitude. By this I mean that the books are often drawn up by people whom have not yet ever released paid comic work let alone successfully published their art beyond a convention artist alley. Also, the materials included are rarely true to professional quality. There are plenty of incredible free tutorials to be found from professional artists online (not to mention thousands of amazing and far more thorough books) out there, and as a young artist, I'd have much preferred one very fine marker than a set of brush tip markers guised as 'specialist'. What I find most odd about most western how to draw manga publications and materials is their contradictory lessons. Before you can create imagery which most people would invest in you certainly need the basic grasp of anatomy, proportions etc,.. However, most manga artwork (especially the memorable ones) are known for their life and drama of pose. Very few books show you when and how it is okay to break the rules of physics or what details are not as necessary to establish the shot. Obviously this is all more advanced than a children's exercise, but trying to keep perfect anatomy whilst copying (for practice from successful examples) tends to be where most young manga artists fail. What I'm suggesting, is buying a serious pose reference guide or a pose-able hero/heroine model would be of far greater use to an aspiring young artist that's 'in the know'.
Xmas30 for 30% off over 30 quid!! Thanks x
Thank you, I have bought this one and also Manga Madness - two presents to put back for my son for Christmas.
Brilliant plus I had some points on my works loyalty card so managed to get it even cheaper
brilliant andy another prezzie sorted (y)
I left the order open and it's apparently been delivered, so despite appearances they did (eventually) come through....
got the same email today..
Did anyone actually get this delivered? I've had the "not actually cancelling yet but probably not going to be able to source this at the price we offered it" email
The ending was (is) set up for the option of a 2nd film. I cannot disagree with anything you've said there. Would have been so much better to have made 12 x 1 hour episodes for season 1 and then 12 x 1 hour episodes for season 2 (with S1 ending at that mega death). They could have remained more faithful to the books/anime and explored characters a lot better. For me it's the relationship between L and Light that makes Death Note and that just didn't exist in this film.
#1 Best Sellerin Pokemon :/
Watched it on Blu ray and the transfer is really good actually. If i remember correctly I think I preferred the English track to the Japanese which was just 2 channel and sounded really flat.
I got the steelbook which should be the same bluray disc and it is fully uncut. Full of brutal violence, grisly gore and r@pe
Can't forget Fist of the North Star (Movie) My old school top 5 1. Akira 2. Ghost in the shell 3. Fist of the North Star 4. Ninja Scroll 5. Tank Police
This an Vampire Hunter D are my favourite manga films..Back in the day when manga was good. (ninja)
This was on the SyFy channel a few weeks ago
Brilliant post, thank you!
considering each volume in print is like £10 you would be spending like £450 if you brought these in print! to only spend like £20 is a great deal! Plus its Fairy Tail, I'm all fired up now!
Will be finishing in a few weeks in Japan.
Is Fairy Tail still ongoing or is this complete?
Don't mind if I do, thanks for the heads up OP!
I got n e-mail from Amazon on the 2nd saying: "We're still trying to obtain the item(s) which you ordered" I received a second e-mail a few days back saying: "Please be advised that we have a revised delivery date for the items you ordered" "Otomo, Katsuhiro "Akira 35th Anniversary Box Set" Estimated arrival date: November 11 2017 - November 14 2017" Will have to wait and see. I'm definitely not cancelling and re-ordering as the price has gone up and I managed to grab this when it was only £90! (cheeky)
Did anyone actually receive this from Amazon? It suddenly said out of stock on the 2nd, I cancelled and re-ordering elsewhere.
Price now down to £100.25!
That would be amazing! New image looks good too.
Amazon has added an image to the listing!
