Great deal!! Heat applied
Ah thank you. I already have a vax turbo head which I use with my c3 but this would be great for the stairs.
Yes it does
I guess this doesn't fit the c3?
You won't find it for less. Maybe another £1 off at best. If you need one, now's the time to go for it. All Miele accessories are RRP'd quite high. Currys also doing the parquet brush head for £30 rather than the £45-50 they normally ask for.
Back in stock online...
Sold out already? Wow! Seems they're promoting the call us option for both the GN or FJM options.
I'm just seeing 'Currently unavailable online' for GN - have you guys had to call in?
No worries. The difference between Hyclean and Hyclean 3D is a very subtle packaging change, unless you're looking for it, you probably won't spot the difference. When first released the pack would state a 20% improvement and the word 3D, but the % improvement is being gradually phased out as a packaging identifier. Online retailers offering deals on Miele bags, often are selling the older tech Hyclean's. Don't get me wrong, they're still good, but nicht as gut as their revised 3D approach the EU ruling must have spurred them on to develop. If you find the non 3Ds on a good deal (£6 or less for a 4pack), they're still worth grabbing some to have. Kenco spares do just the GN bags loose for good prices if you buy more than 8 at a time but you'll need to source your own pre-motor and post motor filters. I posted a recent in store deal by Marks Electrical, for the complete bundle pack of 4 FJM 3D Hyclean bags plus the pre/post filters for £4.99, but that's long gone, now £12. Keep your eyes open when Robert Dyas run promotions. They stock these items at the normal price, but every so often, you might be able to take advantage of a price reduction plus a voucher promo they may be running.
Now that's a response - thanks TopTrump!
I caught it at 161 and it went up straight after my purchase
Now £174.24 ... price gone up again.
It’s gone up at least twice since you posted this, £161 now £166
Apart from the shorter cable these come with, these compact Miele's are just as good as their bigger brothers.
Nice price haven't used a bagged vaccum for ages
Ordered from miele outlet for £130 damaged packaging still got 2 yrs guarantee.Worth a look
No longer available.....now £299 from the link. Great deal when it was active
This is the 890w version. You probably have the 1600 w. I got the same too it's a cracker.
Let them eat dust, the poor little lambs. Clueless.
I paid same price 4 years ago from John Lewis, still going strong. Great vacuum!
Do I go for this or the C3 pet and dog or a Henry Xtra. Need a good vacuum to clean carpets.
Any possibility to buy without membership??
Miele is way better than Dyson and Hoover.
I had an upright cat & dog, it was dreadful. It was extremely heavy with poor suction and we eventually binned it barely out if warranty for a dyson. Now have 2 dysons and can’t fault them.
Mine is 15 years old and still going strong!
back back at £149
Coming up as £179 for me..
Dyson vacuums feel like a cheap plastic Chinese knock-offs compared to this. It's built like a tank with incredible suction power (as others pointed out it does lift the carpet). Have mine for nearly 7 years now and still going strong. Fell down the stairs quite a few times and still feeling solid.
I have this and it’s brilliant, but it you will not regret it. Suction is great and adjustable.
Best vacuum cleaner I have ever used...ive had Dysons...vax....hoovers...and they all suck compared to my Mieles.
Looks like it. Marked as Expired. Available from Miele for £149
Has this deal ended?
Top trump, thank you ever so much for taking the time to let me know this. I will look into the link you sent.
Previous gen Turbo brush (MIELE STB 205-2) available from Currys eBay for £50 brand new. Plenty of used items also listed which you could strip down and refurbish yourself, but there's no telling how worn the nylon brush tufts will be. The Turbobrush STB 305-3 they're currently bundling with this highlighted vacuum is less substantial than the 205 which was built like a tank. I think the 205's bulk also helps the brush-head stay planted to the carpet. It seems Miele is redesigning parts like this turbo brush & the new stainless steel extension pole (which relies on a screw collar to lock the height rather than the previous click/notch system they employed). I think it's the bean counters driving the decision rather than the engineers making actual improvements.
Here's a good deal. C1 Compact Cat & Dog £137.97 at Amazon. So for £20.97 you're getting yourself a Turbo brush that the "10660710 Compact C1 Obsidian black GB Compact C1 Outlet B2 Stock: £180.00 £117.00" doesn't come with. These brushes normally sell at 50ish of your finest British Pounds Sterlings - which might not be worth quite as much as they were before Mark Carney's announcement today. Just ensure you can live with the compromises Miele's Compact Vacuums make.
It's the typical SALE price trick all retailers use and it's called RRP. The model you refer to is currently £316.00 & FREE Delivery at Amazon or Currys. According to Miele, their B2 grade stock has not been used, just a damaged box (Miele is describing it as such so I'd be inclined to trust). £49.50 for a brand new box? If it were made from toilet paper infused with hand sanitiser and pasta, I could maybe understand. Refurbished on eBay for £240.99. Only problem is what does refurbished actually mean? A wipe over with a damp rag or strip down and rebuild with new motor brushes and brand new filters?
I’m after a new vac, so had a little google search of the blizzard cx1 and I can’t see this £410 price for it. You can buy it new for less than this used price?
I started buying the wilko ones for the past few years and had no problems. They work really well too. £4.00 for 5pack https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-miele-vacuum-cleaner-bags-5-pack/p/0329082
Used werepairuk amongst others
May I ask which ebay copies do you purchase?
Yes, the £6.99 delivery put me off too. I'll stick with the ebay copies for less than this. Done me fine for 10yrs
Well you don't want to collect the US ones as they are of lesser quality.
Take him out for a pint of the black stuff and send him our regards. I think Kenco are selling the pre 3D era bags (the ones that now claim 20% more efficient on the boxes). I think they were used when Miele's had larger wattage motors so less invested in maximising efficiency measures / greener planet. Don't get me wrong, they're still genuine merch and work really well.
LOL I actually know the man and he is king of the dodgy deal tried to sell stuff to me years ago can get a bit irate easily ;p nice enough chap though if your "in" with him, he brings stuff in from Ireland to sell here, does deals back and forth for stuff you can get here to sell over there. Miele would go ape probably seeing he's splitting boxes.
Leave the man alone. He's doin' what he has to do to survive for a wee dram of the golden stuff! A genuine business that places the customer at the heart of it. Months back, I bought a Braun super deluxe all the bells and whistles traditional steam iron for £25, reduced from RRP of £70. Didn't arrive, dropped a message - the next day he/she/they despatched another unit which landed a couple of days later. Brand new, top quality, premium item that in the UK you couldn't find for anything less than £60.
Not seen Ken for years! typical of the Irishman splitting genuine boxes bags to sell as single he would do anything for dollar!
Talk about not being 'arrs'd to do your own homework! And then society has a go at millennials! (You've really taken to the spirit of HUKD ain't ya?!) But seeing as we're not all waiting for the government and society at large to do everything for us, HERE! I'll help you out... GN dustbags (4.5 litres) are usually available at more competitive prices from 3rd party retailers (eg: Kenco spares Quantity / Price per unit 2+ / £2.25 3+ / £1.99 4+ / £1.75 8+ / £1.25 ). Man invented the internet, then he invented the search engine. Do some of the legwork, or do you just coast through life?
Tks. They're a bit more pricey but will keep an eye out; the motorised head sounds good.
Sebo's also very good. Just slightly less accessible via deals.
Get Sebo e3 with electrically powered brush head and possiblity to boost the suction for a couple minutes by pressing a button. They come with 5 year warranty and are built to last.
The £199 for the C3 Meow&Woof is at Robert Dyas right? It's priced at the normal price it sells for most of the year. The inflated £299 is just marketing bs or for patrons of the John Lewis establishment (never knowingly undersold bow lx)! You might be able to get a voucher to work and get it for slightly less. They're picturing the unit with the old skool turbo brush (which I think is better than the newer TurboTeq they're now peddling), chunkier unit, easy to clean and maintain, built like a s**t brickhouse. (RDyas have got the Allergy HEPA filter cartridge for a "clearance price" of £30! Ha! Theo Paphitis and his bs. When it's on offer at Amazon you get change from a tenner. BS spinners!) Take a look at Donaghy Bros - they've got the Miele SGDF3 Complete C3 PowerLine Vacuum Cleaner in Black for £165. No turbo brush and just the standard air filter. It's all part of how Miele package a unit to hit a price point. Are the included accessories or the main unit more important to you? Or they've got the Miele Complete C2 PowerLine Vacuum Cleaner - Red for £175 - the main photo shows it with a Turbo brush but nothing mentioned in the description. I don't know, just using incorrect stock photo, or failure to reflect the correct included accessories? Call 'em.
It's a larger unit which provides you with a few key benefits: longer cable, larger dust bag, inbuilt accessory storage compartment, foot operated power up/down controls, one touch power cord rewind. It looks slightly better. If that's worth the £60 extra, you decide.
I agree. I've got a cheap Swan induction hob at the moment and it's streets ahead of a normal ceramic hob.
Had our induction hob (a Luce) for over six years now. Absolutely love it! Efficient, instant, superb degree of control, a doddle to clean & doubles up as usable work surface space when not in use. Once you've used induction, you won't ever want to go back to a normal gas or electric hob. PS - while the evidence is far from conclusive, aluminium is linked to Alzheimer's. The most likely source of ingested aluminium for most people is from cooking in aluminium pans. An induction hob won't work with aluminium pans so this is one less thing to worry about.
I have an induction hob - a Bosch at less than half the price of this Miele. I would never go back to any other form of electric hob and electric is my only option because the apartment block I live in has no gas supply. Induction hobs aren't perfect. They won't work with some pans and the hob's surface can scratch quite easily if you are in the habit of shaking pans while cooking. But they are the ony real drawbacks. While this deal is not for me, I'm a big fan of induction hobs so have some heat.
Yh does it come with an extractor fan? & Has it fallen in price recently??
Why not just say?
Great suction but cord too short
Not sure about that but unless you are a purveyor of said item you are unlikely to be able to afford one...
Seems Miele have taken crack cocaine. £680 for a handheld --> https://www.miele.co.uk/e/stick-vacuum-cleaner-triflex-hx1-pro-smml0-11410170-p
That's what I reckon, it's a more than fairly priced item for people who don't have a carpeted property. Miele outlet are were selling the C3 Powerline for £125. They've currently got the Complete C2 Allergy PowerLine, sprint blue for £129 (A1 grade) http://application.miele.co.uk/resources/pdf/MieleOutletPricelist.pdf (Specs --> https://www.miele.co.uk/e/canister-vacuum-cleaners-with-bag-complete-c2-allergy-powerline-sfcf3-10660760-p )
I was thinking that myself about the quality of the parts on the one depicted,I have the cat and dog c2 it's been great
Our first Dyson was OK. The build quality of our last one was abysmal. They cut costs in production by removing as much rigidity and quality components as possible it would seem. It couldn't even pick up pine needles from the Christmas tree around 1 1/2 years after we purchased it. After switching to Miele there is no comparison between the quality, Miele all the way.
Ours is over 10 years old, seen a lot of use, my parents are on their 3rd Dyson since then. Ours just won't die , even though it's battered & scuffed.
I bought the Complete C3 Petrol Blue £125 from that list when it was on the main site (and I could use Miele plat membership for an extra saving). It's a great machine and has the comfort handle. Miele outlet deliver free. All vacuums are brand new unused. They're very helpful on the phone too.
Not a bad price but has been on offer for less in the past, I think it was last year Miele offered brand new stock of the C1 Compact in Cat & Dog flavour for £129 delivered. I've noticed that the recent batches of Miele Cat & Dog deals Miele is doing, they are equipping them with the TurboTeq brush-head, which looking at the blurb, appears to be a slightly more cost-focussed/corner cut on the previously offered robust/weighter TurboComfort brush-head. It might be of little consequence to most users, but the added heft of the full blown version, means the head doesn't hop and skip when using the cleaner on carpet at full power. (They're applying the same corner cutting logic to their multifunction carpet/hard floor brush-head where they've replaced the metal plate with an all plastic construction). Looks like they've also changed the telescopic mechanism. It used to offer a positive click button/notched indentation adjustment stage system, which they've now switched to a more cost-focussed 'rotate to tighten plastic collar' mechanism (deemed as infinitely adjustable comfort telescopic), which some have reported as problematic with the potential of the locked position slipping or lacking the integrity of the clicking variant, causing the wand to bow during use.
Thanks, looking for around 200. Seen hotpoint for 219 on appliances direct
Zanussi sell one for around £300
I was lucky enough to order 2 and with paypal credit. What is even more amazing is that they price matched H2265-1BP with H2265-1B in Marks Electrical
anyone know a good cheap reliable oven with pyrolytic? My gran needs new one and doesn't have a lot of money to spend and the self cleaning thing would be handy for her.
This should be expired a long time ago, no stock, and the price is back to £900.
Hoover work to 2 weeks after warranty. Rubbish.
Maybe that is because Miele are a premium brand that has only been going for a mere hundred years longer than Dyson and I think, even pre-date Hoover.
Sounds like you know your stuff !
Meh u need to get out more :-) Edit: Sounds like Loughborough guy haha
Never heard of them so can't be that good. What are the other 4 in the top 5?
Upgrade or downgrade filters to your heart's (& wallet's) content. Buy them when on promotion as part of a kit that Miele & Amazon do from time to time.
The C2 Allergy range has a HEPA filter, but you can buy those and use them retrospectively
Is it hepa?
I ordered this when I posted the deal and it arrived today first thing! It’s a great vacuum and the turbo brush is amazing at getting up hair and fluff from the carpets! (y) 🏻
Hard floors won't need a turbo brush. You'll be reaching for the combo head, or one of their specific brush heads you can purchase separately. (Buying any of these brush-heads separately usually costs a pretty penny, so buying them as part of the initial package is the most economical way. Get one with a turbo brush and sell the brush head you won't need on eBay). Your 'cat' requirements, can be dealt with the cat&dog air filter which aims at neutralising pet smells (courtesy of active carbon pellets within the cartridge that neutralise smells). These air filters are available separately and are available for all Miele models even if they didn't come with one originally. Lower cost of ownership is via this deal but the C3 looks smarter (it's still a vacuum cleaner. Do looks really matter?) A 'Cat&Dog' Miele is just a branded way of identifying the combination of anti pet pong air filter and a turbo brush (to address cats and dogs' tendancy to shed hair). They come with a red plastic main body with a little paw print emblem to denote its woof and meow credentials. Apart from that, there's nothing else unique about it.
get CX1 bagless
Is this one of the low power 550w models? Seems it has 890w so a bit better...
$ucking good deal
