Take a trip down to Millets or Blacks and have a look at the Salamons range. What was once a reputable brand are now a low quality imitation of what they once were. This particular model is based on a running shoe for heavens sake. Personally I've given up on branded hiking boots and now buy £40 non goretex from Decathlon. They only last me a year but they are good while they last.
These look pretty cool.
Salamons uses to be a great light weight boot, ive bought many different pairs, these are the cheaper end of the market, but either way, they are terrible for leaking, and have gone right down in quality, even the soles are pretty bad, i guess it depends on what your doing with them, hiking, a big no, which is sad as they were great.i had one pair, the sole broke away from the shoe.
Just ordered a pair for the missis Nice find thx
