These ones are designed to be used off road for sure . BUT.... If you read the reviews there are many complaints, fast sole wear is only one of the complaints. Another big one is the fabric failing, particularly by the small toe. This is a design fault, I had the same with Merrell. The manufacturers are still learning with new fabrics, that toe area is a particular weak spot. That toe reinforced area stops suddenly, creating a weak spot
I agree, I feel these are prob genuine though as being sold by official salomon store. I think some problems are also peoples use, wearing them on too hard a terrain/tarmac rather than the softer terrain they are designed for and then wondering why the lugs are wearing down quickly
There have been a lot of problems with fake Salomon shoes being sold on Amazon and eBay over the years, chances are you have not bought a genuine pair. The real thing won't fall apart like that.
These are rubbish just returned a pair the soles wore out in four weeks and stiching was loose paid 66 pounds for mine and felt ripped off they are only good for grass
