Mamia Toddler Bed & Mattress £24.99 instore @ Aldi South Norwood
LocalLocalFound 2 h, 35 m agoFound 2 h, 35 m ago
Saw this at my local Aldi, South Norwood going for half price. On checking the website (Check the link), I saw it was even more expensive at £69.99. Good deal if your kid is transi… Read more

So at least £20 more if you buy online? Wonder if they add delivery! Funny thing is, it’s sold out online

The national instore price is £49.99 but the store above have applied the maximum 50% discount that they can on special buys in-store to shift slow selling items. Great find though OP and if I was nearer I'd definately be tempted. Been considering one myself at the higher price.

Horrible protector, very noisy due to waterproof plastic backing. Worse than the £5 versions from argos, etc.

the mattress protector is horrible, we recieved one with our mattress. As its waterproof it stop breathability and makes you really hot. I dont see the need for a waterproof protector unless you have certain problems shall we say

Just a heads-up for people, these are the type that only cover the top of the mattress and have an elastic loop at each corner, they don't cover the sides, but a good price regardless so voted hot.

Works a treat

Thanks,just ordered one double.

Im in northern ireland too and when i go to the checkout it then shows as half price.

Yeah you get a 30 day trial period and I agree it is pricey but I’m looking at it that you get what you pay for and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than spending £400-£500 for a new mattress

Thanks That sounds promising. Been wondering whether to buy something like this to breathe some life and comfort back into our old mattress. Still seems a little pricey compared to some of the other toppers you can buy. Do you still get trial period if buying from Amazon?

I finally got it set up after receiving it on Saturday and slept on it for the first time last night. All I can say is wow. Very comfy and supportive. Woke up this morning and didn’t want to move from bed and when I finally did get up I had hardly any pain. I feel it’s safe to say it’s going to be getting kept

Out of stock now in the double : ( Hopefully will come back soon

No idea mate. Lots of good reviews across the internet, not just Amazon. Voted the best by ideal home. The way I am looking at it is, if it works - happy days. If not then I can send it back within 30 days for a refund. I did have a memory foam mattress topper before and it was great to sleep on but then I upgraded from a double to a super king.

I had the same issue. The ebay stuff is some low qaulity stuff!

Maybe the smell was because it was used.

I've previously bought one from ebay but wasn't that impressed and the smell of it was quite strong. May have been just my experience. Thought this one was much better and cheaper than others from the likes of eve, etc.

May be look at ebay first for these as its a standard 2 inch thick topper and they should be around £25 ish on ebay. That's how much I bought one.

No, its just for the Single, if you follow the link and click on Double the price changes to £7, or £8 for the King.

Really I don’t know what’s the matter with people reading all the comments on this, first not everyone can afford a new mattress, not a good quality one anyway, secondly most people use a mattress protector there cheap enough in primark.

Yes i guess if you spend 365 days a year at home the world can be a scary place

some people just have low standards i guess

dry ur eyes mate don’t cry its only a comment lol, your previous comment sounded like you are comparing them both, i’m not here to judge if you like used mattresses then thats fine id hate to think how you live lol some people just have low regards for hygiene.

That’s fair enough - mattresses are a personal thing. Having just gone through the hassle of getting a new one not long ago, if you like it and it’s up to the job, go for it!

Any other reviews? Been looking for a new mattress for a while and I'm pretty desperate now so willingly to give this a try!

Bit pricey but I see why people buy it, you spend every night and 1/4 of your life in bed (recommended 8hours everyday) so it's best to not cheap out, you should swap a mattress every 5years. I've not tried this mattress but buy it since the feedback in the comments seem negative .

We've got this on a trial and I'm now back to waking up in the mornings with various aches and pains. Really wanted to like it as the reviews indicated it would be perfect. I note that some previous posters had the opposite experience, which just goes to show how different we all are. If anyone is interested then why not give it a go, but it's not for us and will be going back. Came across a post on here some months ago mentioning a co called John Ryan by design, very informative and a lot of helpful advice.

Sadly it’s not one size fits all, mate (y) Our Ikea Hovag mattress (bought purely because of the Which awards) has been relegated to the spare room as neither of us slept particularly well on it. We now have an Emma mattress (the Which Best Buy winner for last year) and have never slept better. The 100 day trial with all these new mattresses is definitely a blessing though as they’re not for everyone... keep your paperwork, people!

Bought one a month ago. No more backache or neck pain using mattress and pillows. It doesn’t make you hot like our previous memory foam did.

Eve mattress very good had ours nearly three years now, but didn’t pay that price for a super king bought from living social, basically ones that come back under 100 day trial and new covers put on still have the guarantee with it though

Still got my memory foam mattress that I ordered from billy4su on Ebay, as recommended by comments on this site, two and a half years in the cover has a few bobbles that I've snipped off but the mattress itself is still great. Cost was £97.99 for a UK double 10 inch.

With the trial i suggest you test several until you find the better one for your back. I tried Leesa and Emma before i decided to keep a Simba and Eve.

I sent mine back in January via amazon and it went through fine, terrible smelly firm hot mattress though, like sleeping on packing foam.

I got a single for a spare room Thought £55 was really reasonable

Ignore the overinflated RRP that Groupon love slapping on all their deals. Many of these "deals" are at or even above the prices you find the products for.

I have this mattress and it is not that bad for the price you pay. £90 for King Size is a steel..

Dodgy. Stay clear

To be clear, this is a memory foam layer over bonnell springs which makes these entry level mattresses, the Groupon discount price is approximately their actual value.

Shame it didn't, still £50 off better than two free pillows! Enjoy the Amazon voucher ;)

Should do enter the promo and if need to enter Adam Nuttall in the mention me bit should deduct £50 ;)

Purchased via Amazon when it was 30% off, hotukdeals didn't allow post, very good matress, usual back pain goes away after a few weeks but was it worth it? Yeah it's pretty good. Only got matress and what it goes on, no pillows yet waiting for a good price for hybrid pillow.
