Hmmm rip off people ,,,,, rip off rip off rip off and rip off !!!
All Parking Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2018
This is on my 'summer bucket list' thank you for posting
Absolutely love Bolton Abbey, we usually take a picnic and get a coffee and drinks from the cafe. We went to the Halloween walk last year and the kids loved it. Its close to Skipton so we sometimes visit there afterwards x
The £10 parking is a joke, it's a beautiful place to spend a family day out, tarnished by the Duke of Devonshire's greed. What's a Duke of Devonshire doing overcharging honest, hardworking Yorkshire folk anyway? I suspect he was booted out of the south west for his money grabbing ways!!! Where's Robin Hood when you need him!!!!
I imagine with the hot weather & everything being so dry a disposable BBQ would probably not be a good idea (y)
It’s in Skipton
Just booked 10 days non- flexible rate on long stay for £34.99p. Other quotes WITH discounts were £51.61, £52.19p and £52.79p!!! Many thanks. (highfive)
Great Deal! Just booked for September 2018! most quotes around £41 all over the net!! got it for £29.99 for the week!! Code FNF13 when asked for the Promo code!! Mint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great spot, thanks OP :-)
Cane back to read the comments and caught a flame deer yay! (lol)
Worked for me. Cheaper than paying for a taxi there and back from where I live. Thanks
Cant comment on Terminal 5, been a year since I did it there. But Terminal 4 and Terminal 3 (we use this for 1 & 2 as well) we've picked up a couple of times in the last 2 months. In fact I picked my Dad up from 4 two 3 weeks ago. I've noticed other people do the same and they don't seem to care provided you don't hang about waiting. If the person you're collecting is standing there and you just stop, load the cases and leave they've never said anything to us. Hopefully they aren't changing, as well as being near us, the more passenger friendly attitude is one of the main reasons we always try to fly out of LHR. Despite it often costing a bit more.
parked. where's the bus?
Hi, I believe they are quite strict now. No picking up passengers at the drop-off area, otherwise they issue tickets for £40
no you cant walk to terminal , espceially if you are carrying 5 suitcases. park your car in the long stay and wait for the bus or go to the first bus stop. kids will love it. i would supose your they are flying from terminal 4 of heathrow !
Never used Long stay parking , Can we walk to terminal instead of waiting for Bus ? Or are the buses frequent ? My friend is going to leave his 2 kids and partner with 5 big suitcases ? How easy is it to use Bus or take a trolley and walk to Terminal themselves ?
Damnit, I booked for the 9th-10th of August for £658 with my family, now it's £542. :\
Thanks Neo, I saved £58 with this
Any deal for 2A/1C?
Thanks Neo. Booked for July 29th as that’s the week we’re all on holiday.
Just tried code SUMMER25 , doesn't seem to be working anymore , even though it does state book by the end of 31st July. Unless it means all available dates have been booked :/
If you're going as two adults, there's a B&B right outside the towers. Opt for that, 80 a night.. and also get two cheap sun tickets on eBay. Alternatively, Kellogg's BOGOF. Then go back the following day for an additional tenner I believe it is. Doing that again this year once schools are back in September. Will be about 200/210 all in for 2 nights and 2 days when the kids are back.
Tis true , we got 4 rides in 7 hours and not to mention all the down time on a few rides
Why would you go to water world when the Alton Towers waterpark is so much better
Crazy queue times in summer holidays. Wicker man ride was 2 hrs 25mins last weekend! Lucky if you’ll get on 3 popular rides.
Care to point me in the right direction for a £40 model?
don't bother, I got the front facing camera for £6 and while its ok in daylight at night mode its leds shine brightly (these are not infrared) and blind you and oncoming motorists, still it makes a decent torch
I feel like I've posted a bad deal even though it's cheap. Perhaps a severe case of you get what you pay for here. Sorry guys
Don't buy this as it's a (poo) . Anything that records as AVI will have a poor APU and blowing it up to tv size will make it look very blurry. ONLY buy dash cams that record as MOV as these require a more powerful APU and will not look blurry when blown up. Lastly ask yourself this question: If you are in an accident where the fault is contested do you want the best footage possible? Or a blurry mess? You might be liable for £1000s and lose your no claims bonus unless your can prove it wasn't your fault so pick something decent. You only have to pay £40 for a much better dash cam so why waste your money on this.
Quite so, I expect it's an absolute turd, pay more unless you want blury vision
Other budget accommodation options which might work out cheaper are the Premier Inn Uttoxeter or the Ibis Budget at Willington. Both are decent quality and 30 mins drive or so away from AT.
We booked splash landings for £114 Inc breakfast and I get tickets cheap through work 2 day ticket for 2 adults 1 child came to £87. Going this Thursday
Hotel is not nice
This “Stay away from the main building/pub though I got a serious Norman Bates vibe from the manager/staff at dinner and breakfast.” Not really selling the place to me (shock)
It depends which room you get. I stayed there in April and got a really nice suite with a separate bedroom, bunk beds (in hall) and sitting room with a proper sofa, tv and patio doors into a little patio with table and chairs looking out onto rolling countryside. It was clean and very spacious. To be honest I've stayed in far (FAR) worse places for longer and for far more money. Stay away from the main building/pub though I got a serious Norman Bates vibe from the manager/staff at dinner and breakfast.
Parking is included, so potentially makes it an even better deal?
Lol, and it will be full of hot dealers :)
I also live in Bournemouth and warn you that the car parks cost a fortune, it can be £20 plus a day... Rip off
i live in Bournemouth, not the best hotel! Travelodge quality
Sounds OK, but "cheese tasting with your choice of 3 cheeses" sounds a bit underwhelming - I can do usually do that at the deli counter for free.
Thank you for the warm welcome, already warming up (highfive)
Welcome to the site @Daniel_Hahn (highfive)
Tried it a few hours ago and it added to my basket fine. Just went to properly put mine through right now and it's expired... GUTTED!
The worst thing ever is paying to park your car... hate hate hate (lol)
If u think that 15% discount means a glitch you are on the wrong site pal
Glitch crew checking in
I always find going through my RAC Membership generally throws up cheapest prices
Anyone know any good deals for parking at Liverpool in August?
I find parking is more expensive via this visa link
This deal appears to have finished :-(
Did you need to show a Merlin pass for this offer? I’ve noticed that the code is the same for The Merlin pass pre book offer
Thanks op. We went this week £63 for a family of 5 was a bargain. We already had complementary swimming tickets so really enjoyed it. I would warn people though that the food from flambo jambos restaurant was gross I wouldn’t recommend eating there.
Before booking school holidays online it might be worth ringing. They seem to have offers not available on the website. I asked for a quote for this 40% deal but the agent mistakenly thought I asked for the “40% off including tickets” deal.... My August dates comparison for a family of 4 in splash landing; 2 nights B&B only online= 270 2 days tickets only (discounted thru work)= 140 total=£410 2 nights short break online inc 2 days tickets = £575 2 nights short break over-the-phone inc 2 days tickets = £395
Hi just wondered if anyone using this offer has been and did they have to show a Merlin annual pass? Can’t wirk out if you need a pass to use code b40. Thanks
Just used this code for 20% off at Flying Scot parking in Glasgow. Worked a treat.
Code SUNNY18 is not working.
Is that on the Looking4parking website? Or through another company? I'm looking for 2 weeks parking at Newcastle airport too 😁
Use code WINTERSUN £22.99 for 2 weeks parking at Newcastle Airport, not sure if it works for other airports !
Holiday Extras was still a few quid cheaper for me.
not sure where you're getting a taxi from or too but £25 for a long weekend is a solid deal, i really think these types of thing just depend on the time / day you book
I don't know about Stanstead, but I've parked at Manchester Airport terminal 3 multi-storey carpark for a long weekend and only cost £25 through Flybe. Which was a lot cheaper than the £70 each way in a taxi.
Yeah at least 10-15% discount.
I find you get more discount booking through holiday extras using one of the many codes available
I've just booked this deal to stay in their Shark hotel. (shipping container or not, I don't care) I don't sleep with my eyes open, do you? Anyhow, we don't have to drive the car anywhere else at night or back again in the morning, no parking to worry about on either side, (as there is only the one side), free breakfast, free park entry x2 days and the deal I managed to get IN THE MAY HALF TERM for 1 adult plus 2 children, WITH free cancellation (£9.xx extra) came to £100.34. It was coming out more if I said it was 1 adult, 2 children (an extra £20) but as soon as I changed it to 2 adults and 1 child (all went through as ADULTS anyway) it came down to just over £90. I double checked the tickets by the gate, and adults and any children aged 3 and above were charged adult rate and so the rooms accept no more than 4 heartbeats, regardless of size. So I do find it very strange that they charge more for an extra child and less adults. Very bizarre as even the breakfast is included and a child eats less of that too. Oh well, I'm happy. Thanks for posting.
Well I certainly appreciate how much you wrote and I read it right to the very end. So thank you! I think I will have to stay in one of the very tiny rooms though as we are 3 hours drive from Thorpe Park. It sounds like a good deal and like you had a great time.
I booked for end of may 30/31 and it was £59 for two so just under £30 each
Why would anyone want to stay in a shipping container?
They generally open the park earlier that 10 to people staying in their shipping containers so it's more like 1.5 - 2 hours of fast track. When we went we managed to do all the main rides and a couple repeats in that time. Enjoyed those 2 hours more than the rest of the time there as I hate queues (but love adrenaline). Top tip: remember to turn the ac on at night or everything inside will be wet with moisture in the morning...
Not at the Mo Sorry :(
Sorry i Don't at the moment :(
Meet and greet provided by the airport is different. Any codes for Manchester airport? Need hotel and parking for week.
I wonder, why people are still using the "meet & greet" after all the stories we heard?! I always look for "keep your keys" phrase before doing the booking.
I don't suppose you know of any parking deals for Luton alphamike?
I've just found a good code FNF13for Newcastle airport FNF13 It worked best for me reducing standard non flexible parking to £42.99 for 2 weeks in September flexible was £45.99 meet and greet was £57.00. I went for the flexible option but was offered to upgrade to meet and greet for a price of £53.49 so I did that. Saved around £40 on the normal price.
That happened to me once, I rang them and they resent the email.
Looks like the code isn’t working now. I also didn’t get any email confirmation, I can see my booking on the website using my booking reference though.
Thanks kalamity I'm pleased I haven't booked mine yet. You should post this separately.
Thanks just used this and got 2 weeks for same price. Great discount! (y) 🏻
