Good lord, that is tempting... https://www.base.com/buy/product/persona-3-and-5-endless-night-collection-ps4/dgc-pers35encps4.htm

Gamerofgames

Yeah you are right about the collection being better. I think its also a bit cheaper at Base if I’m right. This is only really for people that only want one of these

Decyther

When buying both perchance, use a calculator if you run out of fingers or toes? (annoyed)

Thanks for this. I always just assumed the restriction also meant one primary account per console! Always just had it set up with his console as my Primary so he can play online and share my games. Think I'll set up a US or Indonesia (a favourite I see on here regularly) account and set my console as it's primary. Thinking about it, I don't think I even have my console as his primary as he has no purchases I would play (only reason he has some is from before I discovered sharing) so could have been doing this all along regardless even if there was a restriction on primary accounts per console. Doh!

FluxOmega

You and your son would still benefit from these deals. As long as you have your US (etc) account set so this is your Primary PS4 (you can have more than one account set as having the PS4 as your Primary console) then any games you download on that account is playable on any other user account on that PS4, providing you are connected to PSN :) You'd still be the one doing the buying tho ;)

sonofgojira

I don't get the love for this game. Constant stop start. I found it unplayable. Though like a sucker I paid £30 .

momouk78

I'd like to try this out and add it to my insurmountable backlog on XBox and PS4. However, considering how long you need for the main story, I'm not even going to try.

johnboylan12

Ok, well thanks for taking the time to respond to me.

loopylloyd

More of a constructive question in relation to your initial statement which also reflects my opinion.

johnboylan12

There isn't an issue, I just asked a question.

loopylloyd

if you enjoy the gaming then what is the issue? I am sure the person probably/possibly does these things also. I have a partner, a 2 year old child, my own house with a full time job to boot. My time for gaming has gone down significantly but I still fit it in. 45 hours on Forza Horizon 4 since 02/10. I find it relaxes me and if I wasn't gaming I would maybe be asleep or watching TV.... its my way of unwinding after a busy day. You don't have to be doing something productive 24/7... that's my opinion.

johnboylan12

Learning a new skill, volunteering, spending time with family, lots of things. I ask because I myself wonder if my time could be better spent when I spend time gaming, and 130 hours is a long time to be doing anything.

40 hours in. Great game.

ibz100

People rated it higher than I did. Therefore to me it was overrated. That is the definition of overrated. Anything that's overrated by definition needs "tons of people out there who enjoyed" it. Otherwise it wouldn't be overrated. Open a dictionary when you get the chance lol.

akuakuu

Just because it's wasn't for you does not mean "overated". People always misuse that word casually. Clearly there's tons of people out there who enjoyed this game a lot, no game is for everyone.

Cloud1576

Best RPG I’ve ever played with 100 hours of content. 20 is a steal

ibz100

Most overrated game I've played in quite a while. Still, for this price you couldn't go wrong (if you're on the fence about it that is). It's held its value quite well compared to most games

That's disappointing to hear. I just played Persona 4: Dancing All Night on the Vita and absolutely loved it. I thought this would be a no-brainer, but maybe not.

deleted211747

I am really disappointed with these games, i really enjoyed P4D. Neither game has a proper story mode and the songs are just not as catchy.

how2

Are these 3 games? Why is one a DLC ?

k4ne

Accurate game/bundle title is: "Persona Dancing Endless Night Collection" https://atlus.com/personadancing/ and every other website (gamestop, amazon, bestbuy, etc...) use this name :) My point was that you buy 3 games and its not mentioned anywhere in the deal. Doesn't cost much to do something like: "Persona Dancing Endless Night Collection" (P3D+P5D+P4D) - PS4.

ZeroAbbadon2

PS4 isn't a DLC, it's a full port of Dancing All Night for PS4. And the title is accurate as the game is called Persona 3 & 5: Endless Night Collection.

I get what you are saying but it had nothing at all...It took what seemed like hours to trawl through the visual novel story line. It was neither a good rhythm game nor a good visual novel IMHO (or whatever it was trying to pull off)

moshixmoshi

It was a rhythm game, you're not going to get a in depth story driven saga like the rest of the Persona series.

SavageDonkey

Adore Persona 4 and starting to get into Persona 5..... Would rather scrape hair from drains than play Persona 4 Dancing all Night... it was tedious.!! I can imagine these are the same.

Not really, this a rogue-like dungeon crawler with very few rpg elements. You're much better off with the main series games (Personas 3-5) for RPGs.

Awesome thanks for the comments. Will check it out!

Ratlee94

It's not repetitive at all, it's just a linear game and you follow a set story, where you have options to customize your character and decide what you'll do with your time within the segments of the game but main plot points will remain the same no matter what. I would give it a go, as I plummed into second playthrough immediately after my first one to correct my mistakes and loved it as well. + The story is really good.

fuzzle3

I didn’t find it repetitive, it’s an amazing game. Just there are extended portions of the game where you aren’t in control as such and has a lot of talking so you can’t play for 10 mins, save and continue later. I really recommend it to anyone though.

I have bought a second one from Japan and am currently buying memory cards when I can afford one. Good point about activating it as I hadn't thought about that!

BubaMan

At some point in the not-too-distant future, Sony will stop processing Vita activations so if you have a problem and need to factory-reset, replace the board or even just buy another, you won't be able to play your store-bought games, whether you backed them up or not! I bought a 2nd Vita as insurance against this (embarrassed) (nerd) It is good practice to back up your games though - not only does it protect you from the inevitable PSN ghosting but it's faster than downloading when juggling your games collection and it protects against store de-listing (Lumines, Shinobido 2, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Virtua Tennis 4, Superfrog, etc).

bagrattle

Easy enough process although it takes a bit of time. They can also be downloaded onto a PS3.

copperspock

I didn't even know that was possible (shock). I must do the same.

Cheers you saved me £75

hanzoadam

Yeah the new ones really not like 4 It tried to bulk it out by saying play songs from the game we won’t animate it we’ll just play a cutscene from the game, made me play the credits for 10 minutes (annoyed) I was not amused or entertained. Not sure if 3 is better, just feel maybe they rushed to try get them both out or they’d just think it’d sell on it’s merit of P5 being so successful

magnetman_exe

Getting the two games plus the PS4 download for p4d , plus the ost and art book doesn't seem too bad for £75 if you count the games at possibly £20 each then £15 for the ost and book. It's a shame they didn't go for the full canon story mode like P4D though, that one kept me busy for around 30ish hours at least.

hanzoadam

Sorry posted on another post Just to warn it terrible, I’d wait till it’s like £20, it’s like 8hrs content, easy platinum (which is till haven’t done as I can’t bring myself to play it) I got it from japan, persona 5 don’t get me wrong it my favourite game and I love persona 4 dancing. This one though the music isn’t great... actually extremely disappointing, there’s no story, and most of the character even my beloved Makoto just seem like they’re fighting the air instead of dancing. Super disappointing I was really hyped for it. Happy to take any questions
