Decent wall mounts. Cheapest price ever on Amazon, usually they are about £50 for a pair. Seems like Amazon have automatically dropped the price to match this price on eBay , so … Read more

They can be fairly fussy at times (lol) (lol) (lol)

Haha. If using trunking you can probably get them on there without making a mess. My missus has not been happy as I put a few up on the wall a couple of years ago, patched the cables into the walls and didn’t paint over the filler as I said we’re decorating soon. Two years later and it didn’t happen and we’ve just changed the room layout so I’ve had to patch them in another place now XD

Think I prefer wall mounted tbh, but having just completely redecorated… it’ll depend on what the missis says (lol) after six months of having the sub behind the settee… it’s the first time she’s asked what it was when I put it from and centre of the room (lol) fortunately didn’t ask how much!

I personally think they look better on the wall even with trunking than on stands. But I suppose it depends on the room. If it’s in a huge room or the listening area is not ideal compared to the walls then stands could be better. I just don’t like the look of them on stands (y)

Ordered and awaiting stock on the Flexson stands… but for the cost of these I can’t not :) may end up cancelling the stands, and if nothing else use the cable trunking to hide the wire, shouldn’t be that noticeable if in the corner of the room. Great find edan

I can't imagine having such and expensive TV and not making the most of it by wall mounting. Give it 4 sides and a way to turn the bottom side off then everyone is happy.

Holding off for 2021 models, they have eArc, 2.1HDMI and 4 sided Ambilight. Only decision is OLED or Mini LED.

4 sided only makes sense if you plan to wall mount, otherwise 3 sided is spot on.

Looking forward to the reviews of the “6” models and how they stack up against this years mini led offerings. By all accounts it’s going to be a close call in picture quality with the mini led sets raising the bar in peak nits.

Ugh 3 sided ambilight

It’s expensive stuff but well worth it, we have it all over the house now. I’m going for the sub next as well. (y)

Its a totally different viewing experience. Much more immersive. Much more enjoyable and you hear so much 'extra' that listening just to a TV you simply do not hear If I didnt already have any Sonos would I have gone off and spent £300 on a Beam and £300 on 2 x Play 1s. No I would not have. Would I now recommend "me" to go and spend that money? Yes I would!

It’s excellent isn’t it!! i actually have 2 x Play:3 as the rears currently which works well, but they’re a bit overkill as rears hence why I want to use Play:1s. I may just sell my old Play 1 then get 2 new Ones.

I got a Sonos Beam during the Black Friday deal. A great device. I coupled it to my very old (8 years) Sonos 1s for Surround Sound. Absolutely brilliant. Its revolutionised watching TV.

The B grade have been £100 for a while. They stopped selling for delivery, but if you are close to a store showing stock you may still be able to get one. The A grade is £115.

Bit crazy this price drop - they were selling them for £115 a couple of days earlier. Still in stock by the way...

Yeah bit of a shame this- they had to retract the offer. Apparently sonos updated their T&C's literally in the past few days... Quite unfortunate. The bloke on the phone was really nice though he knocked off £100 as a good gesture but personally I'm going to wait until black Friday as I'm not in a rush... Unless I find a CR200 for £40 before then... Thanks for following up 😁 enjoy your purchase! That's still a great deal.

Yeah it would suck if they wouldn’t allow it, but it’s really not them it would be Sonos covering the cost so I fear that if Sonos have pulled it they wouldn’t let you do it. Still, buying something else for around £40 will do it, so all hope isn’t lost

I'm heading there today so hopefully it's still accepted... I did phone on Monday and book in with Richer Sounds on the basis that I would be trading in a Bridge against the Arc... They confirmed that was acceptable. Would be pretty unfair if they renegged now... We shall see!

Back in stock, black only. Got a pair of these last time they came up and they arrived in mint condition.

Great find @Karlos457 and a great price. Excellent first deal post :)

My Sonos Play 1's are 5 years old still going strong. As well as pairing these if you add the Sub (V.Expensive) you have a great system for playing music. I replaced my HiFi system with this.

Yeah sound-wise I think they're very similar. I have both in different rooms and cannot tell them apart. The processor upgrade is more for support of services and future capabilities, such as airplay as referenced above. One thing to note if you might want to add more and pair them up for stereo at some point is that you can't pair a 1 with a One/SL (but I think you can pair a One with a One SL)

The Sone SL has airplay if that’s important to you.

Do these sound same as Sonos One? I'm looking at buying One SL but not really sure what's the difference besides the faster chip. Does a faster chip make a lot of difference?
