Dyson eBay is basically Dyson, so the warranty process would be exactly the same. You would just contact Dyson to raise a warranty issue.

Any opinions on this refurbed V6 Absolute (1-year guarantee) vs. brand new …Any opinions on this refurbed V6 Absolute (1-year guarantee) vs. brand new V6 (2-year guarantee)?Ordered the V6 from Tesco yesterday for £164 didn't know if I should cancel or not?Is the only real difference the additional allergen filter and the additional tools (two I think)?

- You would get 2 year warranty on the new one from Tesco, vs. 1 year warranty on the refurbished one.
- The motorised brush on the V6 Absolute would be a bit better/wider and direct drive (so smaller edge). However, don't believe the marketing hype from Dyson about the "150% more efficient head" etc.
- Post motor HEPA filter is a nice to have, but I had Dyson devices without, and never noticed much dust/smell coming out of the motor. My V6 Absolute post motor filter is still completely white after 1 year of use, so probably doesn't do much.
- The V6 Absolute would have a static hard floor tool (not motorised), which is very basic. Normal motorised tool would work fine

If you see the reviews of the Shark, it seems some of them have had the Dyson before, and once gone to Shark, would never go back. I'm looking for a good deal on that Shark model also, although the 800 has just come out.....

My brother got me one for £44.50 (instore reduced yellow sticker so not national).

£89 is the price across all Tescos as the op stated but you can get luckier than a golden egg laying goose if they have put a yellow reduced sticker over the barcode but i have the £44.50 dyson.

My brother said as soon as they put them out they disappeared. Said it got a bit mad so they were told to form a queue over these and other cheap electrical stuff like they do for the end of day out of date reduced to clear fruit / veg/ dairy. Wasnt there so didnt witness it

i've had a v6 for a couple of weeks and when changing attachments i could press the button down and it would click and stay down which made it easier to change attachments. now when i press the button down it doesn't click and i almost need three hands - one to hold the unit, one to hold the button and one to remove the attachment.

what are other's experiences?
Just received my Dyson Big Ball Animal and very happy with it after trying it out once. I'm used to using sub £100 vacuum cleaners and this just seems to suck much better. Initially I was slightly disheartened to see that mine didn't look very nice as I could see light signs of use and some dust but using it once was enough to shut away those thoughts.

Even more happy after seeing that it is meant to retail for £370?!

https://www.johnlewis.com/dyson-big-ball-animal-cylinder-bagless-vacuum-cleaner/p2707519
http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5589320
https://www.tesco.com/direct/dyson-big-ball-animal-cylinder-vacuum-cleaner/107-4347.prd?source=others

As others have mentioned, it comes with a 2 year warranty so I'm happy with that too.

My only main gripe is that it comes with so many accessories and the leaflet does not explain what they're for.
I purchased a DC40 upright using this offer for £128 down from £159.99. It arrived yesterday.

What actually arrived was a brand new looking DC40 Animal which is a better (more expensive) model than the one I had ordered, and it came with several extra tools and a tool bag, in the box. This model is presently £235 on Amazon, down from an RRP of £369.99 - without the extra tools. I am absolutely delighted with this purchase.

There are many reports of 3rd party batteries on Amazon and the 'bay failing within a few weeks. Many thanks in advance.

Just pretend your battery is goosed just before 1 year. And get replacement or refund.? I know people who do this with every single appliance they have each year. = free upgrades too. Personally I cant bring myself to do it.

I checked both on ebay and actual co op site and got nothing on not being wifi included in the TV? so where did you get that from? can you provide link or something? was actually considering to buy this TV

It was on a deal for the TV when it was posted here last year, however I got the TV today and it does have WiFi.
For a £300 50" 4K TV it has masses of features, and the picture quality is better than expected. It does a half decent job upscaling even standard def to 4K, and 1080p is nice.
When I say 'better than expected', I mean considering the price. It's still no match for the more expensive big brand 4K TV's, but it's certainly good enough. Just wish I had some 4K content to try on it.

The only thing that concerned me was no mention of a headphone socket on any of the sites I looked on, as the speakers were bound to be awful and I wanted to plug a 2.1 PC speaker set into the telly. Thankfully, it does have a headphone socket.

EDIT:
Just downloaded a 4K demo video, and it played via USB and looked pretty damned good!

Vestel are a generic manufacturer who have virtually cornered the market in bottom of the range TVs. Panasonic, Hitachi, and many more bottom range TVs are actually Vestel re-badges. Google it and you will see, literally hundreds of brands are actually Vestel's now. You can spot them in the rear image of TVs as only Vestel models have a slot for a three pin plug to be put in on the back of the TV, plus the layout of the inputs and the design of the feet.

You can find somewhere on HUKD someone posted their catalogue of generic TVs that brands can purchase from them.

I wouldn't recommend the dc34, ours started to fail just after 2 years due to battery pack slipping out of position and therefore contacts not connecting. we used with mixed success for another 18 mths with a cable tie wrapped around battery to hold in place, before it packed in totally. spoke to dyson and they admitted the v6 trigger gets around this design flaw as battery pack is screwed in so shouldn't slip out of position. google it, it's a very common issue.

Suction on these is much better than the previous models but the battery is awful considering Dyson's supposed cutting edge technology. Battery life is less than 5 minutes on high power and seems to reduce visibly each time it's recharged. As with the previous handheld models, you're more than likely going to be replacing the battery after 18 months as it won't charge at all.... and it's not covered by the guarantee.

Thanks, I've reported it as expired.

I am so pleased I saw this post as was after a hand held but did not want to spend the earth for it and the £70 older model I bought from Ebay after seeing this thread arrived today...

I was VERY apprehensive after reading the comments on here especially as it is an older less powerful model BUT I have just tried it out ( the DC30 ) and I absolutely LOVE it

It said seller refurbished but it came in original box and looked spanking brand new!

I charged it for a couple of hours then could not resist trying it out as there was plenty to try it out on with my Grandson with special needs in the house , the suction was FINE more than enough to pick up everything in sight including loads of soap powder from the kitchen mat as little Mister LOVES ''doing the washing'' but the soap dispenser drawer is tiny on my Candy washer so he spills the powder everywhere but am just happy he is happy helping Nanny with the washing or pretty much doing the washing tbh lol

I also tried it on my ash tray droppings ( yuk I know ) but I needed something which would pick up the butts and ash after an accidental drop on the floor and it managed it all with no problems whatsoever , so any dry spills , crumbs , washing powder etc will be no problem and I was panicking thinking it would stop in the middle of my hoovering but I ended up LOOKING for other bits and pieces to pick up as the 6 minutes was enough to do a quick good clean up which is what I was looking for so I don't have to get my full size plug in hoover out for small jobs and this really does work a treat as I was hoping it would as my other Dyson ( newer model ) works a treat as well and you do get what you pay for if you get it on a special offer like this so I would definitely recommend especially with kids in the house for sure!!

To be honest this product cheered me up today Plus I love the grey and white colour I got it actually looks good around the house!

Wow that's not great

I'm not sure why people are complaining about this. This is a hand held, rechargeable vacuum cleaner. I have an earlier model of this and it does exactly what it should. It's not meant to be a replacement for a full size cleaner. It's their for the little spills, and spiders, not to clean the whole home.

I can recommend this thoroughly.Wall mount it and have the unit plugged in to a power source and you will have a great friend in the kitchen for any tidy or clean up job.Hoovers well and the battery time is ample -good for stairs and tight corners too.Plus, it's no fuss -no dragging cables and heavy unit from room to room or fumbling with sockets-hoovering is done is a third of of the time-easily.

people like you ruin this site, no-one cares what you think a hoover … people like you ruin this site, no-one cares what you think a hoover should cost or what the price limit for such a thing should be, what this site is for is what that item costs everywhere else & what it costs in the deal, if its not something your considering buying then why have you clicked on it to comment you ****?

I make a point of never getting into online conversations with fu**w*ts, I'm done.
yawn....you guys have too much time on your hands !!!!
Rumour has it, James Dyson is working on a new improved version of the wheel. The current design has a flaw apparently, his new version fixes that and also has 50 new patents associated with it.

It will cost around £600 per wheel dependent on size, is made in China at a cost of £40 per unit, and has a weird kind of aura (like Apple products) which mean idiots will flock to buy them, because it's a Dyson. So it must be brilliant.

'Hoover' is a brand name,
