Yep that's already been explained very well in thread thanks. Never done long haul not my thing three to four hours on a plane is enough for me. Longer than that and I would have to have a bed and more space for sure.

I was the only person in the business class cabin on the way there. On way way back it was just me and a newly married couple who got sh#t faced during flight. Cost £600 for the experience. It's a good story but the fun is in the details for these details I would need to write a small book. Don't confuse business class with first class they are two completely different things. Great deal though. Hot.

Are none of the services back to London direct?

No, change in Brussels and you cannot choose the seat for the first part of the journey as it is Thalys train. Thalys will not change the seat either as it is sold by Eurostar. When heading back to London by Eurostar, you must check in at least 30 minutes before the Eurostar leaves.

I'll pay £8 tops for this, the same price that I paid for Venice and Berlin. Buckingham Palace was good value when I got a loadfor £15 during Tesco's mis-price last night.

Doubt that this set will ever be £10. RRP on this is £45, RRP on Venice & Berlin was considerably less at £25, Venice now retired and sells for £40-£45, Berlin around £35-£40. I guess once retired (which probably won't be until 2019) this set will fetch £55-60. Wish I'd known about the Tesco mis-price you speak of though, sounds like I missed a corker!

I went to Alternate n Towers with my 9yr old last October (during scare fest )- 2 for 1 tickets and had an amazing day - got there at 9:15am and left at 8:45 !

£50 for the both of us (took sandwiches) and a full day of rides - well worth the money imo !...

can you use it on LONDON BIG TICKET - FOUR ATTRACTIONS.

Last time i asked they said i couldnt. Can only be redeemed at the gate of each attraction individually. The big tickets are already discounted so i doubt they would let you use the voucher for these. Online prices are discounted too and those vouchers are not valid for online purchase. But just check with them and see what they say.

Not 100% sure I want them, suede is a pain to keep in decent nick this time of year, so might end up sending them back/ebay.

Suede is not a winter material. Traditionally people have seasonal clothing, but yes wearing UGG boots in July and skinny chinos in January does seem to be a thing.

Went to one in Olympia a few years ago.

Great if your looking to go somewhere off the beaten track, as you can talk to a few of companies that specialise in going to where you want go (we were to go to Zambia) under one roof rather than spend a lot of time trawling websites to then find they don't really offer what you want.
It's for those that want to pay the exorbitant APD by traveling abroad.

Easy bus transfer London to Stansted, Luton & Gatwick from £1.99 and operated by National Express (on National Express website same transfer is £10)
To be fair myself and my daughter used this service but operated by National Express in December.I was very hesitant as I'd nothing but bad reviews. But to their credit, on both legs, we were able to catch earlier buses as we were super early and hadno issues at all. You can catch the bus an hour either side of your scheduled time if there is room on the bus/coach. I just wanted to put another view out there as I hadn't read any positives

I believe it's different companies running it in different parts of the …I believe it's different companies running it in different parts of the UK. I tried the Manchester one, which actually consisted of me giving them money to leave me stranded at the airport. Cost me a fortune to get home and I've never even received an apology, let alone a refund.

Had the same thing in Paris, never again!
We booked easybus last year. They failed to mention to us (and the 20 other people waiting at Waterloo for a 5am bus) that it wasn't stopping there for 2 weeks (even though the ticket stated the stop). Taxi to the airport wasn't cheap. No contact possible except through post to request a refund. Awful.
Some London drop-offs are served by Airport Bus Express instead. Booked trips directly with National Express for £8 return the other day for Liverpool St- Stansted at the end of April, roughly same times are £14 return with EasyBus. Used to use EasyBus but went off them when it was a pain in the arse trying to find out where the buses left from when they changed from using the Stansted coach park.
Left us stranded, repwas no help, contact numbers were no use and emails weren’t responded to. We payed a lot more than £1.99 too. Once we were home and called to complain they were just as bad. Not worth the stress, not worth risking missed flights.
