Thanks for the post, ordered ready for the weekend
Jamesons a far tastier drink and can sometimes be found at £15 on Spamazon
I see this at 20 quid often in sainsburys
What examples of better tasting / blends do you have, have a friend who likes whisky never know what's good so go for jw this and gold etc. Also this was £21 couple weeks back, showing at £19 for me on s+s too..
'Johnnie Walker Black of Atheists, accept no substitute'
But that's obviously true, because that's why Amazon have it at the same price, there is no need to mention it, set up a new deal if you like? I didn't mean you specifically, but someone has to mention it on every amazon deal, for every item...
Didn’t say every whisky deal , just pointing out this is available at the same price elsewhere so not a great deal . Put your dummy back In .
That's why it's this price at amazon, no? It doesn't really need saying, every, single, whisky, deal...
Paid 17.50 recently in Waitrose.
£30 at Tesco £30 at Sainsbury's £28.50 at Waitrose
Finally my local Asda updated their prices 2 days later (annoyed) had to be Asda though because I got 10% discount! Great deal.
Might as well just copy/paste this across from the Amazon thread :D : Decent price for the only blended (or vatted) malt whisky in the JW line-up (i.e. it is made from blending different single malts only - no grain whisky is in the mix). Heat given (y) Red Label is for mixing...it was never intended to be consumed neat (or even on the rocks)! Nice overview of the JW core range (as it was in 2015) and the components of each label here: eater.com/201…-it Black/Double Black and Green look like the value propositions in the line-up. Might get a bottle of Green myself at this price...not that I need any more whisky!
Amazon are also £31 if that's easier for you
Same price on Amazon now. You can’t take anything for granted obviously but this is a blended malt (a blend of single malts rather than just a blended whisky. Many blends just use a cheap grain whisky as filler with a few malts propping it up.
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Sorry mate, I got full time job, and besides I wouldn’t post anything unless it’s 50% reduced and on top of that a lot of people who use this site showed there true colours throughout the pandemic when nhs staff were getting discounts so I don’t think they deserve a discount so another reason why not to post, like when super dry offered 50% off all products last year I was thinking of posting that then thought again, maybe in the distant future (y)
We all await your Deals. Or maybe just the one? At some point? Maybe?
Perhaps you could consider it a as regular deal :D Same as the ebay £1 FVF deal that comes along every 2 weeks and gets voted up to several thousand each time ;)
This is not a deal, Amazon regularly have this at £20
Great price for a superb value whisky, thanks for posting

The rationale is paper is lighter and can be transported more efficiently than glass. The manufacturing process of glass is also more harmful to the environment than paper. I get why they're doing it but I can't see it catching on. Ultimately how is the world going to be saved because whisky bottlers chose to move over to paper? They'd all have to do it to make it worthwhile and that isn't going to happen. No one is going to pay £200 for Johnnie Walker Blue Label in a flimsy paper bottle, so glass is here to stay.
This seems an odd decision. Apart from 500ml airport bitties, whisky is in glass bottles, which is pretty much infinitely recyclable and doesn't cause environmental harm like plastic.
Well it will return in the first instance but yes I've seen these new paper bottles and no, I can't see them catching on. Thankfully
Or will it? https://www.businessinsider.com/johnnie-walker-to-launch-paper-based-bottles-next-year-2021-2020-7

Johnnie Walker Aged 18 Year old Blended Scotch Whisk £47.84 on Amazon£47.84 Free P&P FreeAmazon Deals
JW 18 year old under the £50 mark. Free shipping with prime.
Its not a terrible price for 12 samples. Samples are never going to be value for money in terms of the volume of alcohol you get Problem with samples as small as 25ml is before you’ve properly tasted the whisky its gone. That’s my experience anyway
Some of the full bottles are quite expensive. Besides, tasting sets are great and loads of fun. They add a bit of interest to yet another night in. Online tastings are good too.
Filmed in Northern Ireland and the merch is Scottish! Maybe Irish whiskey is too good for this kind of tat.
Salty? As in, the fans? 8)
They look like test tubes
