health visitors actually advise against using johnsons products as they cause baby's scalp/skin to become dry

Mo_Shez

Formaldehyde is the cancer causing ingredient. They claim to have removed this in their new bottles. Powder was the same. But i dont believe them.

singhisking68

What are you talking about ? how ? God Forbidden, if it happened to one of your kid, just sue them for everything in court (mad)

colourpie

You don't really want one of those sangenic things anyway they're a massive waste of.. everything

johno81

I changed it to desktop mode but still no joy. I click on 'view your wishlist' this is when it shows the 2 items. Then add the nappy disposal first and wipes second. I then go into my basket and proceed to the end.......u gussed it still 20. Not to worry Thanks for your help

colourpie

Did you add them to the baby wishlist first or straight into the basket? I just had a go and it did take off £10 on the last page of checking out.

Johnson's wipes for £0.65 each. Works out £3.90 for pack of 6. Usually pack of 6 is around £6.
huzDeals

I think that is Extra Sensitive wipes. Still will help help anyone looking for that one :)

kamenitzabrit

Check your nearest semi-chem if you have one, as they used to be around £4 every day of the year for a 6 pack, so there are far cheaper options than £6 here and there.

jamiedaviesuk

Tesco also selling the 12 pack for £6 currently so 50p per pack. https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/278044361

Yeh I’ve seen recently on the receipt looks like it’s nationwide. My nearest closed in March so Canterbury is the second but not somewhere I go often lol

JustinGabriel

If store is still open then it should be nation wide just getting rid of all stock before they all close down

Does anyone know if the Canterbury store is still open and if this offers on? Thanks (embarrassed)

phoenician_sailor

The contents are worth £14.89 (In Boots) and that’s without any special offers. Actually a little less than that because I couldn’t find 300ml bottles of some of these on boots so I rounded up to 500ml. You’re paying £5 for the box which makes it a nice little gift but if you’re buying for yourself and don’t have a use for the box it is cheaper to buy individually.

mujaed

Yes bought it and they did read it and said it was ok

vicstar115

Have you used the coupon only buying 1 then? This offers been on there for a couple months atleast and it states when you buy both you save £1. You might get lucky and have an assistant put it through without checking you got both, but I always end up with the ones who like to double check (annoyed)

itchyone

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Coupons should be accepted in store via psionic mind transfer instead. Paper is so archaic.

Mr timpson also owns Johnson's. Think he's now made the offer available to Johnson's customers as it's been so popular with timpson customers.

graham221

Anything that helps people gets my vote

amour3k

My bad!. I thought it was the Timpsons thing?, lol. As I've seen Timpsons posted a few rimes on here bin the past before. And assumed this current one was the same thing, hehehehe. But yeh, this current OP offering of Johnsons though, isn't posted up here as much/as often as the Timpsons one is though? (or not that I've noticed anyway?). But it's cool either way, as such stuff like these, are always needed I believe?. (As no one really knows what's actually round the corner ... )

Only £7.25 if you subscribe and save for the first time

steve23094

Obviously Tesco does not offer free delivery and also adds a surcharge of £4 to orders under £40.

sam_of_london

No it does not. I am on Amazon prime but other than Electronic s items from China, everything else is too expensive on Amazon. They increase the price s so it is nearly impossible to save money with subscribe and save after first order. It is geared towards busy individuals who have no time to compare prices and money no object individuals. Once I compare , I can easily see what I am losing , especially in groceries etc . Supermarket s also offer free delivery , so better off for groceries with them.

steve23094

Take into account the cost of regular travel to your local Tesco... for most people Amazon still wins hands down 😜

WordlyTraveller

That would be S&S if having one item. Having 5 or more items on S&S increases the discount.

If i want my baby wetter i dunk them in a bath (cheeky) .. Joking aside everyone has different preferences but even in this thread they are highly rated. although award winners they may not be to everyones taste. For example we have a friend that only uses waterwipes. But don’t even get me started on that (highfive)

matwalaboy

Plastic wipes - never heard of a thing like that? :/

deathwishdave

Are these plastic?

Quiffco

If you're talking about the talc and cancer link, then that's a little harsh; either talc is cancer-causing, in which case that's a problem with the whole talc industry, not just J+J, or it's asbestos contamination of the talc J+J are supplied with, which is more the fault of their supplier than J+J? I don't see what that has to do with baby wipes unless they're adding talc to them, in which case it's just as likely other companies would be and therefore would be just as risky? I'm a regular talc user (not J+J branded), so I've been following this link but I wouldn't say J+J were any worse than other companies?

SimyJo

Are they flushable?. I only buy the biodegradable ones that you can flush one at a time. Pros: I need to clean my furry bum - Cons: I don't want to cause fatbergs and contribute to the global ecological balance being destroyed through said bum-wiping.
