good to know!
"Little Swimmers" doesn't that have the same meaning as "dropping the kids off at the pool"?

We've been through about 300 of these already and only one leak... My fault I didn't actually put it on properly (yes I admit it) and my only excuse is you really do lose out on sleep. Dads-to-be beware, they really need to up the paternity time off.
I usually buy the cheapest one that doesn't leak. Don't think I'd go down the washable road, but good to know of alternatives.

I think modern washables are fab, not nearly as bulky as they were 30 years ago, but they do require a little work (Washing and assembling etc). We use the washable nappies 9 times out of 10 and then eco disposables. We find Chalie Banana is best, if I find a hot Deal (in the uk) on them, I will post on the relevant website.
Heat for highlighting responsible alternatives to huggies/pampers/landfill-polluters. More public awareness on the plastics blight in the world, global corp j&j finally making paper stem cotton buds (but why pesticide-heavy cotton and not eg hemp or bamboo). Hopefully more global production of real eco nappies, because the average public would run away from washables.

No need to double bag, just use the nappy tabs to wrap itself into a ball. Saves on space and keeps things clean. You only go out to the bin every few days at most. No more nappies in bags laying around from the 4am change. Everything in one place and it really reduces the smell.

Have to agree. No double bagging needed and no smells. I have a three story house and this product helps us and means the nappies take up even less space in the bin. Each to their own I guess but I’m glad we have one of these.

I’ve got this bin. It’s brilliant. As mentioned, the refills are crazy expensive. It really comes down to how much you value the convenience. To cut down on cost, I buy the refills in bulk when on offer. Amazon warehouse deals when there is a 20% off offer on can bring the cost down to around £2.50 per cartridge, or even less. Also, we only use this for pooey nappies. I’d say we go through 1 cartridge per 6 weeks, but that’s only because our toddler is in nursery during the week.

Worked fine just as a bin to be honest.Cartridges are expensive and the cynic in me says giving a free bin is just a way to tie you in with buying the cartridges.

Yeah we just load it up with bin bags. To be honest I don’t think the cartridge bags actually work that well. They are thin bags. My usual trick was to sling a string of nappy filled bags over the shoulder when emptying. This worked fine until the little one was about 9mths at which point the bags rupture. I should say I think the normal method is just to empty the bin upside down
Edited by: "ashman33" 26th Jan
I think it's not working bevause as per the terms and conditions the shipping has to be the same for the bin and for what ever items you are ordering. Since the bin is OOS (dispatched when available.) anything else you order if its in stock isn't going to be the same shipping

Sorry, meant great up to size 2, then awful from size 3 onwards!
Even before you factor in the price, these are the best nappies hands down up to size 1.

However, they are then awful from size 2 onwards (no moisture strip, pattern shows through white clothing). Literally no idea what Aldi are playing at, can it really be that harder to make the same quality nappy in a slightly bigger size?
We're using these at the momwnt with our little one. Very good quality nappies and well priced. I must admit my wife and I were sceptics of Aldi branded nappies but have certainly been won over! Hot from me!
My son got a nasty chemical burn from aldi nappies wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

He was in hospital for three months so he was catered for for that amount of time, but still under typical birth weight when he eventually left. Mothercare were good for the premie clothes. I hope that your daughter is doing well. xx
