I initially used aldi on my LO but then switched to lidl, as the aldi ones were too bulky. I think they are great. Never had a problem with them.

I will never use Lidl nappies. They are like paper once wet , too rough and ill fitting. I don’t care how cheap they are, it’s s not worth my wee babies bottom getting sore and her being uncomfortable

i was to young to remember

Lidl's nappies are the best we have used out of all the brands including all the "premium" ones.

We have used lidl nappies for 3 months now and find them fantastic! Id say the same as pampers as thats the brand we used before trying lidl. We never got on with aldi nappies. We found they left babies skin wet.

Personally I don’t like supermarkets brands as it’s some issues every 6-12 months (as products are recalled) - cheap and nasty brands

I use all those brands , and Tesco own. No different. All good. Just stay clear of Morrison own brand ones

It really is different for different babies.....we have friends who swear by aldi nappies in particular, but when we tried them they leaked at night no matter what we did (tightness / size etc!) - went to pampers active fit and haven’t looked back (and amazon / boots / Tesco always have some form of deal :) )

How do pampers compare to the Aldi and Lidl nappies?

Pampers active fit Nappies £2.81 in asda - In Tesco these are £8

It's not for nappy rash. The yellow Metanium cream is nappy rash ointment.

£3.30 for 30g (shock)

The reason I was interested in this is I have just treated my daughter to a shop at Molly Mojo and she;d ordered a 30g tube at £3.30!! I'll keep an eye on her spending in future :D

Thanks. Yes when I posted this deal, i was aware the 30g is available for £1 in selected poundland. (mentioned and linked in the description.) I have been to 4 branches and none has it. So while this is 89p more expensive, this deal is national and doesn't involving driving around wasting time looking for a branch that has the 30g in stock. And in my description, someAsda also has the 100g for £3.50. I guess I just wanted to highlight if none of the other 2 deals are availabe (whicg is quite likely), this is the next best price. Thanks for highlighing though.

Sorry it should have been this link. Noticed this is 30g so more or less the same price.

This is pants

I am not on a Meter and live in Wales. I think there's an argument to be had that it takes so many liters of water to produce each disposable Nappy as well but overall I think it's safe to assume the water to wash them shouldn't discourage people. To dry ours we have a dehumidifier for when we can't put them on the line, otherwise they are our there in the sunshine on sunny days (we save them up to wash all in one go). Only 0.22 kWh so roughly 25p overnight to dry everything.

Bournemouth council gave me £30 for nappies

I used reusable nappies for both my children, now 3 and 5. I washed their nappies once/twice a week, storing them in a bucket. Dried them on radiators, rack and using dehumidifier sometimes when I was running out of fresh ones.

So you use your washing machine twice a day to wash nappies? You also aren't taking into account the cost of water used which is fine if you are not on a meter I suppose ( though there is an environmental cost), but on a meter that would also cost about 15p per cycle, plus the huge additional wear and tear on the washing machine. Also, what about drying all those nappies, especially in winter?

Heat added...Fingers crossed I can get it in my local store at this price. Wife won't use anything else for our son and it is just too bloody expensive.

This was the only cream that worked for my daughter a couple of years ago. Tried most other creams but this was like a miracle cream for us! Using it now with my newborn :) not sure if it's changed in the last year or two as someone else mentioned but at preventing nappy rash it's doing it's job so far :)

Ah no, I was hoping it was all stores. Weird as it doesn't say it's reduced, just says rollback (annoyed)

As a parent of a toddler I've tried various nappy disposal solutions and with tedious predictability, I have lots of relatives and friends in the same boat. So sorry, but you don't know me and you're talking out of your nappy disposal (poo)

It's not the cheapest way to dispose of nappies. It's a good deal for this product. And some people attach value to their time, especially if both parents work. Thanks OP.

A shortsighted comment by someone who has obviously never used one. I am a childcare and these do a far better job than individual nappy bags. I prefer the engelcare one as it stops smells better than this one but this one is not bad at all and better for smaller nappies. Nappy bags are harder to keep safe around children than these are also due to the risk of suffocation.

£5 for an airtight bin. £0.35 per 300 bags. Profit. Ripoff for gullible first time parents :p

I love Lidl nappies 6 kids & no issues. Beat pampers, Huggies & supermarket brands hands down for me. Aldi nappies are equally as good & similar size & price per pack

We've just started using these since pampers have changed their sizing with their new air flow design and we'd have had to use a size 7 meaning the price per nappy was more. So far these are working well, had no leaks and fit her well around her waist.

that's one ugly ass baby, it looks like a 50 year old balding manlet already

Now you made me look and cross eyed too!!!

Did you contact them afterwards to see as to what happened at the time, etc?. And/or, try it again perhaps?. :-) I've not tried for any of these things myself personally, so can't comment either way ...

Hahahahahahahahaha, that's funny (sorry, lol). :-D I think you be watching tooooooooo Horror Movie's in the past, huh?, hehehehe. Ok, back to business, I believe your 'threat meter' is up, on account of the fact that (apart from the baby's 'unique' facial expression, lol), the baby also has some odd eye colour combinations also?. 2 different eye colours, in 1 set of eyes, etc?, lol. I could be wrong ... :-)
