Angelcare Nappy disposal system with cartridge for 1 months use £6.49 @ Argos

Great price for this as you get one cartridge included with it that lasts up to 1 month. It also uses less plastic as it doesn't wrap each nappy individually and uses up to 4 times… Read more

Just used perfumed nappy bags this is a nonsense product.

I don't use one but my friend swears by hers. I have an upstairs and a downstairs changing bag and a going out changing bag with wipes, creams, nappies emergency clothes and nappy bags in and if anyone takes the wipes out of any of them and doesn't replace them they better look out! XD

The idea of it is that it compacts and wraps them and stops the smell so you only empty it when its full which they say is once a week.

Good price but didn’t really use ours when we had it

Got one of these for free when Amazon had them . Never used it and just stuck the nappy in a bag and then in the bin . "Bin needs emptying once a week into the main bin" That's just being lazy .

Some disabled people can't. Better used for incontinence pads.

I seriously can't believe people buy this. Waste of money, just empty the bin everyday.

i just use a bit of this powder in the bottom of a normal bin bag and it keeps the smell away. you can buy it from pound shops or savers

Bit worried that this recent review of the bags suggests that bags have changed and now the system doesn't protect against odor? "The product page says the cassettes are changing over to be grey plastic outers. And that they’re the same as the old white ones. It’s not at all true. The old white ones worked perfectly, containing odour fully for days. The new grey ones don’t contain odour at all. Within a day, the smell is coming out of the bin. I now don’t know what to do as we have the bin instead but now I can’t buy liners that work. There’s no point in using the bin any more as it’s entire point is that it contains the smell better than nappy sacks. Nappy sacks are many times cheaper and now I expect them to be just as good or better than these pointless grey cassettes."

Have one, and thought it was a waste of money tbh. Decent nappy bags are sufficient for the job, but that's just me.

Asda in Chadderton have those too, in a separate makeshift aisle for these promotional Pampers. Also the small sizes are down to £4 from £7. Mainly the Pants one's are left in Chadderton.

Come shop round where I live in West Yorkshire. The Asda’s here always have size 3, 4 and 5 and never the size 1 or 2 I need ;(

I can never find this pack size in Asda. Either the local braches dont keep them or they sell really quickly

Ah it seemed quite cheap, I never even thought of looking in ASDA - I automatically assumed brand names would be more expensive :(

Sorry price was checked against a rounded down figure of 8p per nappy. Its actually same price in Asda for the same 120 pack

Back in stock!

You’re right! I’ve messaged mods and hopefully they can activate the deal and get spread the word again :)

Back in stock again probably not for long though

Already gone. Such is life.

I’ve toyed with getting them from Amazon, as they work out a lot cheaper than these, however many of the reviews state they’re prone to tearing and also don’t hold the smell so well... Basically a poor comparison and if they tear and let bad smells in, it’s really a false economy. The original/official ones have been amazing for the last 8 months and we’re down to our last one, so timing couldn’t be better! Hope they help :)

Paid Nearly £15 for an identical set 6 years ago, and considered it a bargain then; unless the quality has really slipped this is a steal. Boots were selling them for £45 at the time. The changing mat is the only part that is no good - far too thin. We used a swim change mat instead, thick, fold-up neoprene in the shape of a penguin we bought from Asda for £5.

Backpack ones don’t fit over the pram handles though - good for easy access and leaves room in the shopping basket. Also a lot of people have baby carriers / slings, backpack ones aren’t very practical for that.

Wouldn’t bother with one like that when you can get the backpack style ones!

I'll have 1 of each color for my 9 kids, I never did maffs at school, left early to get on the benefits based pyramid scheme..

We've got 2 of these, used daily and find them excellent. That said it probably is just as easy to use a pedal bin...

It’s a good price but you’d be throwing money away buying one. Nappy sacks are more effective and the cassettes for these are a waste of money for what they actually hold. The tommee tippee ones are often given away with a £10 spend on amazon as well so shows how much of a gimmick they are.

Maybe. I can't have bins as I have a dog who'd just tear them open, regalrdless of the contents. I have been using 'value' nappy sacks as dog poo bags and they don't lock any of the smell in whatsoever so why would they keep in the smell from dirty nappies? We've thrown caution to the wind and bought one of these for our baby but if we don't need/use it we'll either sell it or donate it to charity. We decided as we were placing an order to be delivered anyway we might as well risk the fiver - which is worth it for the cassette if not just the bin.

Everytime I see these on offer I feel like I need one but it really is unnecessary. All it takes is some strong nappy sacks and a regular change of bin bag.

We have one of these. Baby is now 11 weeks. The nappy bin is unnecessary and still in its box

Aldi Mamia Newborn Award Winning Nappies Size 1 - 24 nappies (3.5p per nappy) instore and online 85p
Found 25th SepFound 25th Sep
4 and three-quarter star reviews on the Aldi website. Got to be worth a try at this price? Great for all new parents on a budget :)

People need to chill out and appreciate the offers put on here. Thanks for posting (y)

Thanks everyone for your replies. I posted this deal because I thought 85p for 24 nappies was a bargain, whether it's an offer price or regular price. It's important to remember that all babies are diffferent and one brand of nappy which suits one baby may not suit another.

Just dip one their nappy in water and compare with any huggies or pampers and see for yourself. Rash only happens if nappies dont soak water or full . May be ok if you change frequently and don't use at night time .

What a load of crap. Had nappies from stage 1 to 5 for both my kids from Aldi and never had any issues with leaking or the nappies not absorbing. All babies will get a rash at some point whichever nappies you choose.

Cold. Very poor quality. I threw away after using few. Do not retain water. Dont make your little one suffer and get rashes , just to save a few pennies. Buy good quality like Huggies or Pampers . I like Aldi products and clothes but not this Mamia rubbish. Don't compromise on quality .

Thank you - ordered from Amazon and already proving very helpful for my elderly mother’s disposable pants.

These are really useful. Especially for newborns when bedtime gets disruputed and one of these is next to changing unit. 1st world invention??? A bin.....Why not do away with the kitchen bin and chuck rubbish straight into big bin outside? It's called making life that little easier.

You want eBay for that mate. You'd be surprised what you can sell if you put "scally" in the title! (shock) A mate told me. Honest. Lol.

Sorry can't agree with you. Each one lasts quite long and sits in corner of the bathroom. Tried one month without them, and have to buy more plastic bags, wrap them tight and smells hell near wheelie bin. Tried other option of filling with plastic wrap as DIY, but still all the effort not that worth

A luxury item I guess but a decent price

Is the new cinema in Watford Intu open ?

Never used one and don’t see the point of one. Just tie a good knot in a nappy bag job done. 😄

Absolutely love mine had for 3 years now

Same price in mothercare nationwide.

I don't have this particular model, but I find it super super useful, it is definitely not a luxury item, we find it a must have item to keep those smells away. Nappy bags just don't cut the mustard. Heat from me, excellent low price, mine was a tenner.
