Fantastic price for the full set of a video, sound and movement monitor. Amazon's best ever price according to Camelcamelcamel. (y) (£145 on Jan 21st 2018)
These are fantastic my niece was born with a CHD and this helped my sister manage to sleep as Evie does have breathing difficulties & to make it harder 1 of my other sisters had a baby die from sids. You can never put a price on peace of mind
Definitely, worth every penny we paid. Bargain at this price.
Had these with our children, the wife was very paranoid so served a purpose, they are super sensitive though, my youngest used to push himself into a corner and the pad would end up going off.

The same with all movement monitors surely? The delay has saved me a few times when I've forgotten and then remembered before waking the baby!

I should have listened to the reviews as the battery life on this is pathetic. Overall a good product but the battery life is very poor. Even when in charge cannot hold its power. Such a shame. Price wise I wouldn't know if it's worth being HOT but I can definetly vote it COLD on basis of quality.

What did you buy instead? I’m looking
Was close to buying one of these type of video monitors (not this specific one though) but I was put off by how bad the video quality was on all different brands angelcare etc you’re better off sticking with the normal sound and movement and buying an IP camera such as TENVIS where the video quality is HD and has 2 way audio. When you’re done using it for baby monitor you can use it for home security.

My toothbrush lasts about a month too. Pretty sure it's also Phillips. I had a Gtec handheld vacuum and it lasted ages, until my OH washed it!! We thought we'd try a Dyson one but battery life no where near as good, although longer than 6 mins! You must have the boost function on. My phone also lasts 2 days after about 30mins charge! It's a OnePlus.
I bought YI 1080p IP camera and Cry detection works fine. £36.

We've had a nightmare with this monitor it's been replaced twice and it's still faulty Motorola customer service isn't the best either so took along time for them to sort (it was a gift so didn't have the original receipt)

The sound stopped working on the first two and now the charger is faulty on the third luckily it's just a android style phone charger So we have spares but would defo avoid after our experience

I have had this for over a year now and I have had no problems with it. Got it at this price on prime day
These are cheap for a reason. Very unreliable monitor. The charging connector in the monitor will fail within months. Motorola repairs in the UK have been kept very busy with these and even did ours just outside warranty, but the failure rates are so high these are best avoided.

We have one of these and use an IP camera for the visuals. The first one broke after 3 months and amazon took it back and sent another out. Great service from amazon. The replacement has lasted 10 months now. The odd time in those 10 months it has stopped working but turn off and back on then its fine. Cant comment on range as we don't go off miles away leaving the baby, but works fine in a 3 storey house.

Amazon reviews seem average, any hukd experience with this anyone?

I have got this very monitor for my son and used it from when he went in his own room to the current day being the age of 15 months nearly. Its certainly not a flash baby monitor (and you can't speak in to it like dearer ones) but it does the job well. I have no experience of others but this is more than adequate for my needs and if I was to have another child we will continue with this one until it fails.
