There were too left in my local last night on the shelves with the £4 deal, glad I picked them up to check the price :D
All Pg Tips Discounts, Offers and Sale - April 2018
Should be called half a cup (annoyed)
Sorry cold from me - is rather pay 80p more and get 200 original pg tips not one cups from tesco (currently on offer
Well actually no. POUNDland suggests denominations of a pound. This isn't a one pound poundland!
These are one cup :p (lol) and cant be compared to normal tea bags.
Cold. 100% over priced for poundland
I think you mean there's MORE tea in each bag, don't you? 750gm 240bags = 3.13gm per bag 696gm 200bags = 3.48gm per bag
696g instead of 750g which means less tea in each bag. And now only 200 bags instead of 240, you've got to be loaded, to by this tea. We've started to buy supermarket own brands which is much cheaper and stronger.
1/4lb of PG Leaf Tea for 11d was an even better deal.. . . . Though it was a few years ago!
They had 400 for £4 that was the best deal
Expensive these days & they've taken 40 tea bags out as well. Used to be 240!
Black tea bags??? What colour are they usually then!
This is not really my Cuppa tea.
This is £3 in Asda
Not sure I've paid over £3.50 for that pack size for a while.
English Breakfast tea is half-price at Sainsbury's at the moment. 100 tea bags for £2.50. sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/twinings-english-brkfst-tea-100s-250g
Twinning tea is best tasting
Yeah, that's right. :D (y)
Same price at Morrison
if that is true... well whats your point? horse and cart came before cars. outdoor toilets came before modern plumbing. ACDC came before Justin Bieber.
Tea Granules came before tea bags folks.
also in Corby... tasts like a tea :) but without the fuss of taking bag out
You think THIS stuff is bad?, I once bought (as a punt) ASDA's "Smart Price" Tea bags (green n white packs back in the day) AKA the SWEEPINGS off the FLOOR methinks (shock) (poo) 1 sip was ALL it took to convince me the BEST place for this this this ABOMinATION, was the BIN, and if it were a RACE between em?, I'm thinking we'd be looking at a PHOTO FINNISH
Sorry mark...the "you" I had in mind was/is "anybody else", and when I say EXactly? as you said...if it's your (anybody elses) kind of thing, good for you. Personally I think it's a waste of good water :p
Some in Bradford :D
Shame im 6 days late.. (shock)
I forgot to pick this up lmao
In stock at Dundee!
Found Mr Lucan in London also
yep, the monkey is soo cute.
Thank you PD101!
The ones I got were BBE March 2018
You mean the On Digital Monkey?
Hi , does anyone know the best before date of the biscuits please?
picked up 2 today from worcester.load of green tea to drink now :o cheers for posting (y)
None in oxford cowley templars
I got 3 didn’t want a lone monkey :( XD I do drink green tea, so win win but, would have bought even if I didn’t XD
I just got two at lakeside but had to ask as they’re not on the shelves.
Can confirm they had these in the Reading Oxford road branch.
Had a call to ask if i was genuine. Couldn't really say yes
Same here I've done it twice and never heard anything back
Done these before and the item never arrives and if you query, they never get back to you!
No chance, but you have to be in it to win it! Good luck all.
to much good
Not here in the South, perhaps its regional? Don't have an Asda locally, so have not checked them.
Just clicked through the get link and was able to add a few to my basket still - not sure why it shows unavailable to you.
Didn't know they did a 200 box, must be one of those 'reduced price' and 'reduced size' deals. However, showing at not currently available on Tesco groceries, anyway. Don't think I have ever paid £5.60 for 240, let alone 200. Nearer to 12p for 10 makes for a hot cuppa deal!
Shrinkflation! First they reduce the amount of tea in each bag. Now they reduce the pack size. Grrr!
...and in Morrisons (looks like instore only).
If you've been drinking nothing but PG Tips, you will have no idea what a thoroughly low quality tea it is until you try Yorkshire Gold, or Clipper Gold, anything from Ringtons or Thompson's Family Teas, or Lidl's Knightsbridge Gold- frankly almost any other tea (apart from Tetley which is just as poor, or Typhoo which is worse).
£3.49 at B&M for 240 anyway.
Might just be personal taste or bad luck, but the last 3 times I've tried PG tips, it literally tasted like sh*t - as In, I think whomever packed the bags left a faecal surprise in every box. Went back to Yorkshire and Ringtons, far better! Although using Tetley's ATM and it's not great either, definitely nowhere near as bad as PG tips though.
They can be a lot cheaper if you're not in a huge rush Just last month........ https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pg-tips-80s-pyramid-teabags-232g-pack-of-6-total-480-teabags-432-add-on-item-amazon-2824596
Quite right but at least you've been given the credit for finding!
Got one from asda few days ago 300 pack for £4
try Poundland 160 bags for £2.
Very surprising - Promotion not in all stores. why? sainsburys are the eboneezer of super markets
Tried PG loose tea the other day as can't stand these bags, awful in comparison to Yorkshire tea, was hoping would enjoy as was brought up thinking PG was the best. What a grey, bland and weak tea it is, ended up throwing the lot out as would never drink it. Yorkshire loose tea or nothing for a good everyday tea.
Good Price. Was going to get some in the morning @ that price. But amazon have a 4 pack @ £14.00 delivered by prime. So have ordered online dont even need to go out. Have some heat.
Apologies to all the tea drinkers, my bad, I thought it was a good deal. Well it’s a years supply for me, so 4 quid is still not bad.
Lidl are also selling 240 for £3.99, and ASDA £4 as well. Not very hot for me though. Tesco's offer is also national, offer ends 05/12/2017.
Also £4 at morissons. Should be £3 or £3.5
Box of 240 £3.79 in Pound Stretcher
A box of 240 is £3.49 as standard at Home Bargains
£10 for me with the code thanks op
20SNSPRIME Not working for me as a prime member
Ace gives me longer to be away from my desk at work. Heat
"This is a catering pack containing bags requiring a longer brew time than the standard retail bags "
Nice but M&S Gold Blend if you really want a nice cup of tea.
Same in my local but none on shelf. Also fudge treat size pack 70p and Skittles treat size pack 50p.
Thanks Leah 8)
Great find Shabs (y)
No wonder someone got that Father Ted question right grrrrrrrrrrrrr
Its been running for couple of days but they should have stock. Just spotted a banner on their website with this deal.
Thanks saraye 8) . Same here. But I stocked up with last weeks Tesco' s offer which was not as good as this. grrrrrrrrrrr
Asda selling 80 boxes fo £1.50 (same price and no need to bulk buy)
I was only afraid it is way too expensive than cheapest street offer or Q is bad, in this case as Waitrose is way of my routes I'm happy with them. Thanks for intel
Maybe because they are £3 each at Waitrose for example so you don't need to buy 4 packs?
18.75p per 10 bags. Same price at Waitrose and you don't need to buy 640.
