im not getting RDR2 until Christmas day so plenty of time to play other smaller games until then, am looking forward to call of cuthulu later this month and will have a horror game phase for a month or so I reckon

I think you could be correct. I don't see any mention of one anywhere on the internet.

Sadly not. Got this on launch and I'm around 30% in, then came Forza Horizon 4, which is just the best game this year for me. Yes, even beating God of War which I also played to completion at launch. I've just started to tell myself I'll never play any game when I buy them, if I do, then that's a bonus :D I did show great strength yesterday though by putting Black OPS IIII back on the shelf (cheeky) :D

Has anyone else stopped buying games because they know when red dead arrives they’ll be quickly abandoned? Shame cause I really want to play Spider-Man, god of war and this tomb raider

Its my favourite of the trilogy all in all but I agree it has the weakest story with Rise's being the best, despite only half decent itself

Only thing about Shadow of Tomb Raider is it's 64bit and mines old 32bit (skeptical)

Another game for the collection that I'll probably never get round to playing (embarrassed)

Great for the price

Ordered. Thanks op

Thank you. My teenage son has asked for this for Christmas. Waiting for the shadow of the tomb raider pc to drop in price now.

Xbox one shadow of the tomb raider (Digital) - £36.99 @ CDKeys
Found 10th OctFound 10th Oct
26% off the standard price of £49.99

Good luck. Hope it gets sorted soon

I've had an issue with them since mid week and ow they aren't responding. There are alot of comments kicking about on Facebook and Twitter claiming they are ignoring everybody and alot of people have had issues in the last couple weeks. I've bought a few things from them previously with no issues but they seemed to have changed. I'll not be using them again!

I had a problem with a purchase awhile back. I contacted them through Facebook and my problem was resolved with a few hours

I'm having huge problems with cdkeys and after reading their reviews there are a load of others having the same problem. I bought a ps plus 12 month code let week and it was already redeemed over a month before I bought it. I found this out from PlayStation support after wasting hours trying to sort this. Cdkeys blamed PlayStation for the issue but it's definately cdkeys problem. They are now not responding or refunding and I'm stuck with no 'instant' code and less money in my bank. Highly recommend thinking twice before using these. They are ok when things are going ok, but once you get a problem they hide away with no resolution and take forever to respond to an email!!!!

how long til it goes sub £20? (skeptical) Released less than amonth ago and already selling at a discount...

I got Black Ops 4 for £14, enjoy your physical copy :)

First and foremost - If you game share with a friend you get all games half price. Combine this with the deals from PS stores around the world, CD keys credit deals etc, you can end up paying around 1/3 of the price on most games. Who’s really the mug here. Heat added from me 🔥

Personally i buy digital when possible. Unless its a collectors edition i want. I see no need to have boxes around the house collecting dust. I also do not sell physical games when I buy them for the following reason. When I am selling a physical copy of a game the makers of that game are getting nothing for their hard work when its resold. I understand why people sell the physical copies of games because it finances the next game or for other financial reasons but for me I want to contribute towards games I enjoy. Buying digital its about shopping savy and getting the right deals from the right stores

I can safely say I don't need or want to sell my games. I buy them to own, as many people do (nerd)

Hot. Pity some people feel the need to vote these deals down, I for one appreciate the heads up. Thanks op.

Yeah both this and assassin's creed have released at a silly time but they were better getting them out before red dead and fallout 76 than after.

Or it can mean they want to get as many sales before Red Dead 2 releases which is on track to blow every game out of the water for a long time. people like to under estimate how crazy everyone seems to go for RockStar games. why Shadows was released at this time of year i don’t know, way too many games out now after a long time with nothing interesting releasing, but oh well

Not so much talking about the overall scores and more reading them makes good points that this game contains nothing new to what we played 3 years ago. Also a lot of the gaming audio podcasts haven't been to favourable to it saying it loses its way mid way through and from playing it I agree. As for sales disc copy's are sitting at number 6 in the charts, for a less than a month old tomb raider game that's shocking. Also I've never seen a full out major release get 25% off within a month digitally and that type of move can only mean it isn't selling.

The reviews saying it is an amazing game put people off it? Its metacritc score is in the 80s they just want to get more sales before Red Dead drains everyones attention, being on sale doesn’t mean a game is doing badly

Oos now ;( ;(

Shadow of the Tomb Raider £39.99 on PlayStation Store

Not the cheapest deal seen but a very good price for those who like digital only.

£27.17 via Turkey store FYI

My favourite side quest is "the mining concern that supports this entire area's economy has some questionable hiring practices" "say no more, I'll murder the lot of them"

I thought they might have released a trilogy set but can't seem to find one. Shame I would have bought it

I don’t mean to be too negative but the story in this game is frankly as dull as dish water, and the side stories, well ‘I’m owed money’ ‘I was cheated in a game, I want my dice back’ and ‘help me look for my bow’ spring to mind. The thing that grates me the most is that the supporting cast in this game should be quite large on paper, but all the ethnic minority folk are evidently played the same male/female/child actors - they all sound the same.

There’s much less combat sure, and what is there involves a lot of stealth and I’m talking akin to the later Splinter Cell games, not stealth as it should be. The tombs are very much ‘push this’, jump somewhere and ‘push that’. The challenge tombs in the first two reboot games were much more grand in scale.

Where did you buy?

Cold for me, the disk version is already selling for around £35 on PS4 and maybe a bit more for Xbox. It is going to drop further especially around black Friday. You can trade it in for £35 cash at CeX after you complete the game and gain money back. For me the digital game needs to be lower in price to justify buying it.

Cheaper than the actual site I believe!

I prefer this to Rise also but you also complain about the excessive combat in it? The 2013 reboot had endless waves of enemies in it, in fact im not sure how anyone can prefer the first the tombs were awful (and tiny), it had done to death stereotypes in it like the angry black woman and the money grabbing white guy , it also had an absurb amount of shooting in it. SOTR>ROTR>TR (2013) I thought Rise scaled it back to a good extent, maybe they have scaled it back too much in SOTR but I prefer the emphasis on exploration and tombs. What I really like about this over Rise or TR is that on top of the more intricate tombs and crypts half of the main storyline has, ruims tombs and puzzles in it so it really feels closer to the old games. Whereas only the last act of the first 2 did

Much prefer this over Rise (which is by far the weakest of the three). The pacing and excessive combat of Rise made it a let down. Shadow has received Marmite reviews, but this is due to snowflakes complaining about the game not being politically correct.

Agree with most comments here. Game feels half complete, great start and ending but way too much collectible/side story filler. Strangely first half of game is a lot more polished than latter half, as if they were given deadline to get this out. Frame rate on Hidden City area was all over the place (choppy to point of screen tearing) which was partially corrected with an update, but the textures in the second half, apart from final sequence, are way off. Some high res, some low res. The story is dull as dishwater and the torch issue is infuriating.

I really like it so far, then again I only paid £13 on PC for it :D Only let down is the AA on PC makes everything so blurry I have to turn off.

Is fifa 19 in stock now?

You just gotta love a pc game based on a 'Sport' that involves 22 overpaid actors chasing an inflated pigs bladder. There is no way this game can be even remotely accurate, unless it can factor in 12 hour cocaine and booze binges, tantrums from the WAGS etc. Still, its likely more accurate than 'football manager' which obviously would come up trumps if you picked lat years winning team every time.. But it doesnt, so its a joke. Buy the console if you havent got ~ £500 to build a gaming pc, I am sure you will get some entertainment out of it Eventually.

Possibly can get Quidco/Topcashback. Click through, then paste in address of the Swiss store without referral links.

Whether you've played it or not ... Witcher 3 is a must buy for everyone A ridiculously incredible game

There's a few games I want but going to wait for black Friday / boxing day.

The Witcher 3 game style is bit of a bridge between RPG-heavy games like Skyrim and action games like Horizon ZD. It looks gorgeous, has great voice acting, well-paced story telling, decent combat and a vast open world, yet constantly entertaining (no lulls). It is by far the best of the Witcher series of games and the GOTY edition has enough content to fill 100+ hours of gaming. Just read a few reviews on Metacritic if you're unsure.

I see Detroit BH as a disc purchase due to the short play time and limited replay appeal but others may disagree. Also consider that while the reviews are mostly positive, the game style might not suit everyone. If you buy when you're ready to play it and trade it in shortly after, you'll lose about a tenner for the privilege of playing. If you're getting cheap PSN credit and game-sharing with someone willing to pay their share, the £27.34 PSN price tag could work out about the same £10 spend for each of you.

Is Detroit worth it at the current price?
